Mercedes Benz Sprinter Limo for my milestone birthday celebration in Napa Valley
Christie S.

For my 40th milestone birthday in Napa I hired Beau Wine Tours for transport to shuttle my group of 12 from the hotel, 3 wineries, and back to the hotel. Beau Wine Tours hooked us up with a sweet Mercedes Benz sprinter limo for 12. The limo was awesome: very clean, and had features like a cooler, wine glasses, lights, and a bass-heavy speaker to pump up your Bluetooth playlist. Rodney was our driver and he was fantastic! He dressed in a black suit, surprised my group with bottles of complementary champagne, and did an amazing job shuttling my group from appointment to appointment in a timely manner. He even was a good sport checking in with us throughout the drive, letting my group blast 90's throwback jams on the speakers! When you do a celebration wine tasting, riding in style in a luxury limo or bus is the way to go and I'm so happy that I worked with Beau Wine Tours for my milestone birthday. Thank you Rodney and the Beau team for a perfect transport and day in Napa Valley for my milestone birthday celebration. Highly recommend!

Thanks Vijay for a fabulous trip to Napa! My two friends and I booked a semi-private tour with Beau's Dynamic Tours and we ended up having the entire van to ourselves! Everything felt very luxe - from the plush interior of the vehicle, bubbles to start the day and Vijay was very friendly. We visited four wineries on our tour - one of which included a behind-the-scenes winery experience. Note, the tasting prices are not included. You can make requests prior to the tour depending on your desires for the tour (wine types, price points, etc.). I would definitely book with Beau again when I have friends visiting the Bay Area.

You may have seen my previous review of Beau and a certain bad experience we had with a particular driver...and the way the situation was handled. This was after we had previously hired Beau and had a great time, so it came as a great shock that the experience was so bad. As I mentioned in that review I was later contacted by Tom Buck, the owner of Beau Wine Tours who arranged for my group (plus some additional members who didn't get to go last time) a do-over trip. I appreciated his willingness to admit mistakes were made, and the fact that they had let go of the problem driver spoke volumes. This time around was a totally different experience. Our driver, John was amazing. He called me two days prior to confirm the pick up location and to ask if there were any questions or requests. When I informed him of our two nursing moms he developed a way to accommodate their pumping needs (talk about above and beyond service!). He arrived at my home on time and with directions, not only that, but he knew an event was taking place near the golden gate bridge so he let us know he was planning to take the bay bridge instead to avoid the traffic. We didn't have to handle directions or timing at all this time! I love how thorough and prepared he was, he must have been a boy scout as a kid. The wineries Tom and John selected were more family-owned not big touristy ones which was exactly what I requested. We had an amazing time at Ceja meeting the family and playing on their bocci ball court and loved our outdoor tasting. Next we stopped in at O'Brien Estate where we enjoyed a barrel tasting and picnic lunch (from girl and the fig) on their beautiful grounds. After that a private room tasting with Frank family and much giggling, and finally a very fun off-the-beaten path tasting shack stopover with Frias Family. I'll be writing reviews of all of these because they were fabulous. Honestly the timing and selection was perfect and when we were early and one winery wasn't quite ready John worked it out with them while we enjoyed champagne! Again John went above and beyond, constantly fetching more ice on a hot hot day, making sure we had water, driving one of our mamas into town when she wasn't feeling well, tolerating our impromtu dance parties, and putting up with our constant requests to take potty breaks, even when totally inconvenient. A special thank you to Tom for arranging such a beautiful day and to John for being the most prepared, patient, and thoughtful driver/tour guide. I would certainly work with Beau again after this experience, and I am so pleased to see how they go out of their way when someone is less than satisfied.

Nick struck that ideal balance of being personable and entertaining while still maintaining a consistently high level of professionalism throughout the trip. What really stands out is his deep knowledge of the region. Nick didn't just know the wineries -- he knew the stories, the people, and the hidden gems that make Napa special. His longstanding relationships with many of the vineyards opened doors for us, giving our tastings a level of warmth and hospitality that you don't always get as a casual visitor. We picked several of the wineries we wanted to revisit (Nick had recommended them on a prior trip) but called an audible the night before to change out one of the stops and he was able to pick out and arrange a great tasting at Bottuello which was the perfect spot for an intimate tasting of unique wines with the owners. We never would have found such a jewel on our own! And of course, the ride itself was incredibly comfortable. The vehicle was clean, spacious, smooth, and stocked with everything we might need -- making the time between wineries just as enjoyable as the tastings. Overall, Nick made our Napa visit effortless and unforgettable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, knowledgeable, and truly professional guide through wine country. Cheers!

My girlfriend and I recently did the Legacy experience aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train and…read morehonestly it was one of the best experiences we've had together. We started our experience with commemorative Legacy pins which was a really nice touch as soon as we sat down there was champagne waiting for us at our table and the staff throughout the entire journey was friendly attentive. The train itself is beautiful and the ride through Napa Valley was fabulous. We started the morning with the Smoked Salmon Egg Benedict while enjoying wine and the scenery outside the windows. Later my girlfriend ordered the Cracked Mustard Cider Glazed Salmon and I had the Grilled Beef Tenderloin and both dishes were incredible. Everything tasted fresh high quality and beautifully presented. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the food and the overall experience. One of my favorite parts of the entire experience was visiting the wineries throughout the journey. Each stop gave us time to explore relax enjoy tastings and really take in the atmosphere Napa Valley is known for. We were also able to shop around for little gifts and even brought home a bottle of wine from one of the wineries which made the experience even more memorable. I brought my drone with me and was able to capture some incredible videos and photos of the vineyards and scenery which honestly made the experience feel even more unreal. Throughout the ride we also enjoyed wine tastings coffee pairings and small bites including the Chef's Cheese Course with fresh bread cheeses olives and local honey which paired perfectly together. The standout moment for me was honestly dessert. My girlfriend got the chocolate brownie dessert and it seriously melted in your mouth. I had the sherbet assortment which was super refreshing and the perfect way to finish such an amazing meal. I also want to give a shoutout to Carlos for being an amazing host and server throughout the experience. Even with a large group onboard he stayed attentive friendly and made sure every guest felt taken care of from start to finish. The entire six-hour experience flew by and every part of it felt well thought out. Between the food wine winery stops scenery and hospitality this is absolutely something I would recommend to anyone visiting Napa Valley.

The rail follows alongside the highway so views were not necessarily 'outstanding' because I was on the train. I do not need to ride this train to see these views. I did not have to drive, that brings the rating up, but there are MANY ways to not drive in Napa. It was a little rickety, but acceptable. The food, 2/5 stars, substandard for the cost. Portions were small (half a piece of bacon, 1 small egg for a Benedict, etc.) and taste was middle of the road. The service/staff 4/5. Most everyone was very hospitable and did their job well. However, it did feel as if we were 'just another group'. Everything is very script and not especially personalized. For example, I'm on a wine train and no one asked my wine preference. Which brings me to the wine we tasted on the train 1/5. I expected a higher quality of tastings. In addition, offer a choice of flight, white or red or a mix of both. Or, hear me out...offer wine pairings for each course (included with my ticket, not for extra cost). Stopping at the sign and enjoying the tasting in the open car was a wonderful choice, wine selection is greatly lacking and to be honest, a great disappointment. Overall, I enjoyed my time, but this was not necessarily due to being on the Napa train specifically, it was because I was on vacation in Napa. I could see the business cutting costs in almost every aspect and that is unfair because I am paying a premium cost of approx. $100/h. And for some of that time, I'm at the winery and not even on the train. Which brings me to the end of my rating, for the stops 2.9/5. The stops felt rushed, especially our first stop. They are about an hour each, but this includes disembark and reembark times. I wanted a little more time at each winery to make a purchase or walk the grounds. I will not be recommending this particular experience, I believe many improvements can be made. Lastly, I booked this experience due to several social media content creators experience. These creators are getting their experiences paid for. Be sure to read ratings from those of us not being sponsored.

Hands Down the Best Driver in Napa Valley!…read more I discovered George on Yelp, and after comparing other Napa car services--many quoting well over $1,000 for wine tours--it's clear why his customers rave about him. His reviews truly say it all! There were plenty of reasons we chose George over the rest. From our very first contact, George was incredibly responsive and communicative. I had a party of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids) for my husband's 40th birthday celebration and needed a vehicle that could securely accommodate a car seat with a latch system--his car was absolutely perfect. He arrived right on time, greeted us warmly, and was super easy to talk to. Throughout the day, George consistently arrived within minutes at each of our destinations. He didn't just drop us off--he guided us to the exact entrances and exits of every winery, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. On top of that, he shared insightful feedback about why each winery is special, adding a whole new level of appreciation to our tour. Another bonus, he provided water in an iced cooler and white glove door service! What really stood out was George's impressive local knowledge. Without even needing navigation, he expertly drove us from Petaluma to Napa while sharing fascinating stories and history about the wineries, estates, and the region itself. If you want a professional, friendly, affordable, and knowledgeable driver for your Napa experience, George is your guy! Highly recommend and would easily book him for our next trip!

Quality/Quantity - I had a hard time with the website making my appointment, it's a user issue as I am just not tech savvy. So I called and someone actually answered the phone and made my appointment for me, THANK you! We arrived 15 mins early, so we hung out in the lobby reading all the history, etc. Then Skip took us to the best view overlooking the vineyard for our tasting; see pictures! We sampled almost ALL the reds! All of which were good. See pictures. I like the fact that we did side by side tastings of many of his wines. My favorites were the 2022 Primitivo and 2021 Malbec, which we bought a few bottles of. Ambiance - Secluded private winery. Close to main Downtown Napa, but far enough away for privacy and a feeling of being far away. Appointment only, so very private and customer focused. Typically no more than 3 parties at a time. Today was considered a very busy day as there were 4 parties including us, lol. Gated private estate. 200 acres. Plenty of parking, especially since hosting only 3 guests at a time. Events - See their website. Well behaved dogs are allowed outdoors. Service - Skip is a history buff and we both talked for hours... After leaving, well really the next day (LOL), I realized that our tasting was supposed to be only 60 minutes. I guess because we got along so well, we stayed until closing! And he gave me a glass with a generous splash and let us walk the property alone after they left! So welcoming and trusting. Price - Depends on which tasting and what you buy; see their website for prices. Tastings range from $50 to $100 per person. One free designated driver allowed. Tasting fees waived with wine equivalent purchases. Hike tours $75 per person ($60 for club members). See their website for more information. Owner Comment - Congrats on your family's success since 1939 and congrats to this winery's success since 1992.
