Javier is thorough and knowledgable. He's friendly and he pays attention to detail. He ensures you have the best experience possible. This includes local coffee in the morning, refilled bottled water after each stop, and the best connections with great vineyards. If you are looking for a private tour with an expert, don't look any further. Javier will take care or you. He puts together your day with Napa's hidden secrets. Don't waste time. Book with him now.

Barrel tasting was an awesome experience. I especially enjoyed the one-on-one attention at the wineries we visited with NPT

You haven't seen or gotten to know Napa the right way unless you've done Napa Private Tours. My boyfriend and I experienced a fun-filled and well-planned day with Javier, tasting some of the best wine Napa Valley has to offer. Javier went above and beyond to make our tour entertaining, planning an exceptional itinerary that included visits to private wineries and tasting rooms that we otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity to enjoy. I especially appreciated how he shared his wealth of knowledge regarding the region's wine history and landscape. It also became evident during our tour that Javier is well-respected and well-known among the wineries. Every winery we went to told us we were in the best hands with Napa Private Tours. If you're planning a trip to Napa, I highly recommend this experience. I already told my family and friends they need to book a tour asap, and you should too - http://napaprivatetours.com/.

You learn about the secrets of Napa and surroundings with people that love wine and this land. Javi and Flako are excellent hosts and did an amazing job of customizing my tour with family and friends. Won't go back to Napa without calling them first.

WOW! What else can I say? Cynthia planned such an amazing day for us, incorporating our personal tastes in wine into the perfect tour for our family. Javier was an amazing guide, his personal experience with winemaking and his knowledge of the area took an already amazing tour over the top. We started off at Porter's winery, which was the unanimous favorite. The tour of the tunnels and private tasting with cheese pairings in the cave was so amazing! After that we went to Luna winery for a relaxed tasting on their veranda with a beautiful view of the vineyard. Then it was lunch at the Culinary Institute of America and on to Fontanella winery. We rounded out the day with a trip to Domaine Carneros. We were dropped off at our hotel tipsy, exhausted, happy, and well laden with wine purchased throughout the day! From now on, we will only be touring with Napa Private Tours!

My girlfriend and I recently did the Legacy experience aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train and…read morehonestly it was one of the best experiences we've had together. We started our experience with commemorative Legacy pins which was a really nice touch as soon as we sat down there was champagne waiting for us at our table and the staff throughout the entire journey was friendly attentive. The train itself is beautiful and the ride through Napa Valley was fabulous. We started the morning with the Smoked Salmon Egg Benedict while enjoying wine and the scenery outside the windows. Later my girlfriend ordered the Cracked Mustard Cider Glazed Salmon and I had the Grilled Beef Tenderloin and both dishes were incredible. Everything tasted fresh high quality and beautifully presented. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the food and the overall experience. One of my favorite parts of the entire experience was visiting the wineries throughout the journey. Each stop gave us time to explore relax enjoy tastings and really take in the atmosphere Napa Valley is known for. We were also able to shop around for little gifts and even brought home a bottle of wine from one of the wineries which made the experience even more memorable. I brought my drone with me and was able to capture some incredible videos and photos of the vineyards and scenery which honestly made the experience feel even more unreal. Throughout the ride we also enjoyed wine tastings coffee pairings and small bites including the Chef's Cheese Course with fresh bread cheeses olives and local honey which paired perfectly together. The standout moment for me was honestly dessert. My girlfriend got the chocolate brownie dessert and it seriously melted in your mouth. I had the sherbet assortment which was super refreshing and the perfect way to finish such an amazing meal. I also want to give a shoutout to Carlos for being an amazing host and server throughout the experience. Even with a large group onboard he stayed attentive friendly and made sure every guest felt taken care of from start to finish. The entire six-hour experience flew by and every part of it felt well thought out. Between the food wine winery stops scenery and hospitality this is absolutely something I would recommend to anyone visiting Napa Valley.

The rail follows alongside the highway so views were not necessarily 'outstanding' because I was on the train. I do not need to ride this train to see these views. I did not have to drive, that brings the rating up, but there are MANY ways to not drive in Napa. It was a little rickety, but acceptable. The food, 2/5 stars, substandard for the cost. Portions were small (half a piece of bacon, 1 small egg for a Benedict, etc.) and taste was middle of the road. The service/staff 4/5. Most everyone was very hospitable and did their job well. However, it did feel as if we were 'just another group'. Everything is very script and not especially personalized. For example, I'm on a wine train and no one asked my wine preference. Which brings me to the wine we tasted on the train 1/5. I expected a higher quality of tastings. In addition, offer a choice of flight, white or red or a mix of both. Or, hear me out...offer wine pairings for each course (included with my ticket, not for extra cost). Stopping at the sign and enjoying the tasting in the open car was a wonderful choice, wine selection is greatly lacking and to be honest, a great disappointment. Overall, I enjoyed my time, but this was not necessarily due to being on the Napa train specifically, it was because I was on vacation in Napa. I could see the business cutting costs in almost every aspect and that is unfair because I am paying a premium cost of approx. $100/h. And for some of that time, I'm at the winery and not even on the train. Which brings me to the end of my rating, for the stops 2.9/5. The stops felt rushed, especially our first stop. They are about an hour each, but this includes disembark and reembark times. I wanted a little more time at each winery to make a purchase or walk the grounds. I will not be recommending this particular experience, I believe many improvements can be made. Lastly, I booked this experience due to several social media content creators experience. These creators are getting their experiences paid for. Be sure to read ratings from those of us not being sponsored.

Hands Down the Best Driver in Napa Valley!…read more I discovered George on Yelp, and after comparing other Napa car services--many quoting well over $1,000 for wine tours--it's clear why his customers rave about him. His reviews truly say it all! There were plenty of reasons we chose George over the rest. From our very first contact, George was incredibly responsive and communicative. I had a party of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids) for my husband's 40th birthday celebration and needed a vehicle that could securely accommodate a car seat with a latch system--his car was absolutely perfect. He arrived right on time, greeted us warmly, and was super easy to talk to. Throughout the day, George consistently arrived within minutes at each of our destinations. He didn't just drop us off--he guided us to the exact entrances and exits of every winery, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. On top of that, he shared insightful feedback about why each winery is special, adding a whole new level of appreciation to our tour. Another bonus, he provided water in an iced cooler and white glove door service! What really stood out was George's impressive local knowledge. Without even needing navigation, he expertly drove us from Petaluma to Napa while sharing fascinating stories and history about the wineries, estates, and the region itself. If you want a professional, friendly, affordable, and knowledgeable driver for your Napa experience, George is your guy! Highly recommend and would easily book him for our next trip!

Quality/Quantity - I had a hard time with the website making my appointment, it's a user issue as I am just not tech savvy. So I called and someone actually answered the phone and made my appointment for me, THANK you! We arrived 15 mins early, so we hung out in the lobby reading all the history, etc. Then Skip took us to the best view overlooking the vineyard for our tasting; see pictures! We sampled almost ALL the reds! All of which were good. See pictures. I like the fact that we did side by side tastings of many of his wines. My favorites were the 2022 Primitivo and 2021 Malbec, which we bought a few bottles of. Ambiance - Secluded private winery. Close to main Downtown Napa, but far enough away for privacy and a feeling of being far away. Appointment only, so very private and customer focused. Typically no more than 3 parties at a time. Today was considered a very busy day as there were 4 parties including us, lol. Gated private estate. 200 acres. Plenty of parking, especially since hosting only 3 guests at a time. Events - See their website. Well behaved dogs are allowed outdoors. Service - Skip is a history buff and we both talked for hours... After leaving, well really the next day (LOL), I realized that our tasting was supposed to be only 60 minutes. I guess because we got along so well, we stayed until closing! And he gave me a glass with a generous splash and let us walk the property alone after they left! So welcoming and trusting. Price - Depends on which tasting and what you buy; see their website for prices. Tastings range from $50 to $100 per person. One free designated driver allowed. Tasting fees waived with wine equivalent purchases. Hike tours $75 per person ($60 for club members). See their website for more information. Owner Comment - Congrats on your family's success since 1939 and congrats to this winery's success since 1992.

I'll be honest: the planning phase started off a little strange. Molly was my point of contact, and then she suddenly disappeared from the process. Fortunately, everything eventually came together, and we ended up with an amazing six-day vacation, including visits to eight wineries over three days. But the real highlight -- the reason this is a 5-star review -- is Terry. Terry was amazing. Super friendly, super nice, and honestly a good-lookin' guy (even if he did tell us he gained 70 pounds after quitting smoking in 2019). He anticipated every single need before we even had to ask. He brought us breakfast when we were too lazy to get out of bed. He brought us pizza when we were too exhausted to make it to our dinner reservations. He's charismatic, charming, and funny as can be. Even on Thanksgiving Day, he made us feel important and cared for -- you'd never know he was missing a holiday with his own family and friends. He took great photos, insisted on making us feel special at every stop, and truly elevated our entire trip. And the best part? He refuses to accept more than an 8% tip. (Kidding... mostly.) Terry made our vacation. Hands down the best driver we've ever had. If you book with Beau, do yourself a favor: ask for Terry.
