Wayne of comet towing is nothing short of amazing. I had a 7:45 am appointment for my car at Honda for repairs so I needed a tow very early in the morning. I spoke with Wayne the day before and asked if he was able to swing by at around 7am. Wayne is typically busy around the early mornings due to regular tow jobs at designated tow sights but he was kind to squeeze me in. Wayne called me at around 6:45am and got to my place before 7am, talk about responsive! He is very friendly and was so easy to work with too, it was like speaking to a close relative. Wayne has been in the towing business for about 18 years so he has lots of experience. We arrived at Honda at around 7:30am. After dropping off my vehicle with Honda, Wayne actually asked if I needed a ride back home since he was heading back in that direction anyway. Definitely not something I expected nor is it something I believe he does on a regular day. I was extremely appreciative either way. Out of all towing experiences I've had (all if not most of which have been good), Comet Towing has definitely been the best. Wayne & his wife are the best! Their service is fast, reliable, safe, and they are very considerate. Our car engine died on Sunday afternoon and in a short time Wayne got our car towed home in no time. On Monday morning ( a holiday) called them again tow it to the mechanic and I was back home in 40 minutes. Wayne offered me a ride back since he was headed back to my area. AWESOME! I've never had such a good experience with a towing company as I had with Wayne at Comet. I had a super dangerously broken Jeep parked in a small covered space with a lost key. I needed it towed to the repair shop so I could get it at least functional again. Wayne showed up and was very patient while I tried to get it all sorted out. Comet Towing, Wayne Sakuma - absolutely the best in service! Our reliable 2007 Lexus would not start after months of sitting in the garage due to covid. We used a battery charger, bought a new battery, checked fuses, googled/researched similar startup issues -NOTHING worked. After a few weeks of this, we decided it may be a major problem. We called Mililani Auto Repair. We were given two suggestions. We are so grateful that Wayne at Comet answered our call. He was able to get the Lexus to start after a few minutes of his own research and using his own battery charger. The problem was related to the dis/arming of the security system. We would never have figured it out. But because of this crazy covid time, he says he has quite a few calls with similar issues. AWESOME TOW TRUCK SERVICE!!! I recently had problems with my car starting and assumed I needed to get it towed after a failed attempt by my brother and friend at jumping my car. I scheduled a time to have my car picked up. The tow truck guy arrived right on the time agreed to. I told him that my brother had jumped it but had no luck. He jumped the car himself and to my surprise it had worked. He was friendly and didn't charge me too much to have my car jumped by him. I needed to have my car towed to a repair shop, and the guys at Kuroda Radiator recommended Comet Towing. My car insurance has a Roadside Assistance policy that will pay for a tow up to $100. I called Comet and explained the situation, and asked if they could tow my van for under $100 so that the insurance would cover it. He said definitely. I told him what time I was going to meet him the next day, and he said that he already had a drop off in the same area an hour earlier so he'd wait around for me. I told him I'd try to get there earlier. He said, "Don't rush. That's how accidents happen. I'll wait." WOW!! Then, he called me the next day to say that he was running a little late. I was en route, so I didn't answer my phone, but he kept trying to reach me to let me know. Awesome! Even though he could have charged me $100 and my insurance would have paid it, he only charged me $70. How refreshing!! Someone who is honest and doesn't try to rip people or insurance companies off! After 3 hours of sitting on the side of H2, (could not get anyone to call me back with the company who we usually use) I called Comet Towing. I asked for a tow, but when Wayne came out to assist me, he instead patched up the tire as good as new. I didn't even need to get car towed. Also Ana who I spoke to on the phone and also showed up with him, was very pleasant and helpful. She said it would take them a little while to get there, and it that was okay. I told her that I wasn't going anywhere and that I had been waiting so long that another 30 minutes wasn't going to make a difference. If I had known I would have called them first. On a Sunday that I could not start my car, I called Comet towing for help. It was very friendly service on the phone from the start. Wayne patiently listened to my problem and tried to troubleshoot my problem over the phone. I could not jump start my car because it was parked in a tight spot. He showed up the same evening on his way home to start the car with a battery pack. He verified that the battery had a problem and towing was not needed the next morning. Excellent service at a reasonable price. My car stalled a mile from home. I left my car on the side of the road, and my wife picked me up. I called comet and Wayne said he will meet me at my car in 20 minutes. When my wife took me back to my car, a cop was there and he called a tow truck. The cop's tow truck showed up a minute before comet. He wanted $80 just to hookup and a per mile charge to boot. Comet did the job for $50. read more
