This is the second time I've used D&D Towing twice via AAA. The first time they sent someone to help me with a dead battery at Costco. The young man was polite and professional. I ended up purchasing a battery with him instead of waiting for Costco to do it. He also noticed oil leaking around my engine and suggested I take care of it. I ended up taking it to our mechanic and it could have been a dangerous thing! 5/4/2020 Because we haven't been using one of our cars regularly due to COVID stay at home orders, my other car's battery"mahke" died, dead! D&D was quick to come to my home and tow my Hyundai 2013 Sonata Hybrid to Tony Hyundai in Waipio for $200 cash. Was worth it. But I later found out that our contract with the car dealers do reimburse us ($200). So, what I'm asking for is the receipt from D&D so that we can be reimbursed. We did call D&D and the woman said that she wants my email-address and she'll send the receipt. I told her my email-address. But we did not receive the receipt as of yet. After calling around D&D was the only company with a good response time and rate. when the driver Ryan came to pick me up he contacted me to see where I was in the parking lot. He hooked up the truck and we were on our way. When we got to my house he even put the truck in the driveway, which is super narrow and on a busy street. The driver even made sure when he placed it back on the ground to put blocks under since the suspensions were so low so I can roll off then gently without damaging anything. Highly recommend this company and their customer service was amazing, I think her name was Jas. Thank you guys so much!! Called yesterday to schedule a 7.8 mile, 14-16 minute tow from my house to the auto shop, for 3:30 PM today. Wanted to schedule it for 4:00 PM because it's a 15 minute drive and the shop closes at 4:30 PM and I had to take off from work and drive from Liliha to Nanakuli to make it home in time. Dispatcher recommended making it earlier because of "Nanakuli traffic." By the way, anyone who knows Nanakuli knows the traffic at 4:00 PM is coming in, not going out. But OK, I took off half an hour earlier than I planned and was home (yep, through the traffic coming in) by 3:15 PM to wait. At 3:37 PM, no tow truck, no phone call, so I called them. 1st call was disconnected (on their end), second call dispatcher told me the driver was "running late, he's passing Waikele right now." I confirmed "he's passing Waikele on his way here?" She said yes. 4:00 PM, no tow truck, no phone call. I called 6 times at 4:05 PM just to give them the courtesy of cancelling the tow. No answer. Just ring and disconnect. Cannot tell you how frustrating this experience was, and it really didn't have to be. Just be honest, up front, and have some courtesy. A little goes a long way. I eventually was contacted at 4:30 PM by someone who said he was the driver. While I appreciate the call (and that the driver was apologetic), too little, too late. Damage is done. read more

Our car rental place was crappy and gave us a van with tires that were worn down and ended up getting a hole in our tire. The first people that came were 2 men who didn't know what they were doing and said that we needed to tow our car. Next Jada comes, and she makes her own tool to release the spare tire since our rentals tools to release the spare were taken out. Used my AAA and fist person that came out was very nice and he tried to give me a jump start and he checked my battery. My car wouldn't start and he said it looks like it's my starter. So he called to have my car towed. The tow guy can around 3hrs later which is fine because he mentioned that he had couple more before me. The reason I didn't feel like a 4 or even 5 stars because he made my experience in the towing very negative. He came across abruptly telling me, that I better call the place to see if they open or if he goes there he going just leave my car and go if they not open. He was not helpful at all and made me feel like I was an inconvenience to him. I had a station to take it to but it was 30 plus miles away so I asked if that was okay, he's attitude after that made me feel like he hated his job and towing my car all the way too that job was just humbug for him,Next time I need a tow, I'm going ask for an alternative tow company because I didn't like the whole experience with the tow guy. 2/22/19 Thank you Jasmine for reaching out to me the following day after my experience with one of your tow employees.
