I used D&D via AAA and so glad I did. They were super fast to respond and showed up to pick up my car in record time! The technician was friendly and helpful - that's always a plus! Thank you to the guy who picked up our Honda In Mililani! read more

Flat on my Tesla this morning and Tesla "road side" assistance wanted $200 just to tie my Y back to their service center! I didn't even bother waiting to see how long the wait would be cuz that's too expensive! A friend suggested Daryl at D&D so I called him. He answered first attempt and said no problem but couldn't get to me for an hour. To me that's quick for a tow so I agreed and sure enough he showed up in an hour like he said! Great service and prices. I'd highly recommend this company and services read more

Was assigned D&D through AAA. They accepted my ticket at 8:30pm no updates to my service and it is 9:39pm. Come to find out they opt out of my ticket and now I have to wait even longer for a second provider. I have two dogs locked in my car as they triggered the lock. Wish they communicated a little better. read more

Used them through my AAA Hawaii service, being assigned to me they kept me posted on when they would arrive. I would use them on my own if I needed a towing service. The driver was very patient and got my car started without a tow and explained what happened for future reference in the event my car did the same thing. My car died off after filling gas, had it pushed on the side. It was my key security fob. So on the knowledge of the driver alone I would recommend this business. read more

D&D was dispatched to our place via AAA after we discovered our car (without a spare) had a tire that very unfortunately ran over something on the road homeand had gone completely flat. Within an hour of calling AAA and confirming that the tire repair shop could take us in, D&D was in our driveway and ready to save the day. Josh was professional, efficient, and very courteous. Highly recommend D&D! Bookmarking them in case of a future auto-related emergency and I don't have AAA access! read more

Your drivers drive like ass. Passing other cars going over 65mph is a 35mph zone cutting off other vehicles coming out of Kapolei heading towards Waianae @ 9:45pm. Don't utilize this business as they don't value the safety of others. read more

This is the second time I've used D&D Towing twice via AAA. The first time they sent someone to help me with a dead battery at Costco. The young man was polite and professional. I ended up purchasing a battery with him instead of waiting for Costco to do it. He also noticed oil leaking around my engine and suggested I take care of it. I ended up taking it to our mechanic and it could have been a dangerous thing! 5/4/2020 Because we haven't been using one of our cars regularly due to COVID stay at home orders, my other car's battery"mahke" died, dead! Jasmine was dispatched to my home and did a great job simplifying things for a non-mechanic like myself! They take cash or credit card with a $10 service fee charge. Jasmine was very personable and we exchanged COVID stories. Quick, efficient and personable! read more

Called, was put on hold for about 10 minutes to schedule my towing. Had to hang up to call them back just in case they forgot I was on the other end of the call. Someone picked up just to hang up again withinasecond, then called back and was sent to automated answering service. Isn't it easier just to cancel the pick up? Waste my time. read more

D&D was quick to come to my home and tow my Hyundai 2013 Sonata Hybrid to Tony Hyundai in Waipio for $200 cash. Was worth it. But I later found out that our contract with the car dealers do reimburse us ($200). So, what I'm asking for is the receipt from D&D so that we can be reimbursed. We did call D&D and the woman said that she wants my email-address and she'll send the receipt. I told her my email-address. But we did not receive the receipt as of yet. Hopefully D&D will read this review. Other then that they were efficient in delivering my vehicle to it's intended destination. read more

thank you so much D&D towing! I just got done grocery shopping at costco, hopped in my truck and it would not stay on. After calling around D&D was the only company with a good response time and rate. when the driver Ryan came to pick me up he contacted me to see where I was in the parking lot. He hooked up the truck and we were on our way. When we got to my house he even put the truck in the driveway, which is super narrow and on a busy street. The driver even made sure when he placed it back on the ground to put blocks under since the suspensions were so low so I can roll off then gently without damaging anything. Highly recommend this company and their customer service was amazing, I think her name was Jas. Thank you guys so much!! If we test the truck today and we get stuck again I guess we will see you again lol but I hope we fix the problem! read more

D & D helped me out in a pinch. Staff are friendly and accommodating. No BS when you call and ask for service quote and ETA time. Dispatch said they can help me call around to other tow companies because they're backed up. Didn't expect that. I'll be using them the next time I have a disablement. read more

Called yesterday to schedule a 7.8 mile, 14-16 minute tow from my house to the auto shop, for 3:30 PM today. Wanted to schedule it for 4:00 PM because it's a 15 minute drive and the shop closes at 4:30 PM and I had to take off from work and drive from Liliha to Nanakuli to make it home in time. Dispatcher recommended making it earlier because of "Nanakuli traffic." By the way, anyone who knows Nanakuli knows the traffic at 4:00 PM is coming in, not going out. But OK, I took off half an hour earlier than I planned and was home (yep, through the traffic coming in) by 3:15 PM to wait. At 3:37 PM, no tow truck, no phone call, so I called them. 1st call was disconnected (on their end), second call dispatcher told me the driver was "running late, he's passing Waikele right now." I confirmed "he's passing Waikele on his way here?" She said yes. 4:00 PM, no tow truck, no phone call. I called 6 times at 4:05 PM just to give them the courtesy of cancelling the tow. No answer. Just ring and disconnect. Cannot tell you how frustrating this experience was, and it really didn't have to be. Just be honest, up front, and have some courtesy. A little goes a long way. I eventually was contacted at 4:30 PM by someone who said he was the driver. While I appreciate the call (and that the driver was apologetic), too little, too late. Damage is done. read more

I was stuck on the side of the road and called AAA to find a towing service, D&D made the process so smooth and took away my worries. D&D towing is the best Tow Company by far! They saved me on multiple occasions. Very Professional & they don't keep you waiting long ever. Recharged my battery / fixed my flat tires ( more than once ) / & towed my car home couple nights. During the holiday seasons they offer only mileage fee for tows for people drinking & can't drive , I used that one too many times ;) I highly recommend this company for all your tow needs. Mahalo Josh for coming to my rescue with changing out my flat tire at wai'anae comprehensive Native Hawaiian center today. The AAA club initially said its. 1 1/2 hour wait which we both felt was too long, I was blessed with only a 1hour wait and Josh quickly changed out with the spare. He was professional and answered my questions about the damaged tire and came to find out he lives in the same community! It's all about pilina and I'm feeling much less anxiety now that I may continue my errands. Mahalo to Josh of D & D towing service, a AAA affiliate. Alyson read more

Our car rental place was crappy and gave us a van with tires that were worn down and ended up getting a hole in our tire. The first people that came were 2 men who didn't know what they were doing and said that we needed to tow our car. Next Jada comes, and she makes her own tool to release the spare tire since our rentals tools to release the spare were taken out. She then plugged the tire for us and put the spare in back in case the tire got another hole. Mahalo Jada! read more

Our granddaughter's truck broke down at the house and we needed a short tow to our mechanic about 3 miles down the road in Wai'anae. We were really pleased that AAA sent D&D Towing to our place for this tow job. Our driver (so sorry I did not get his name) was super friendly, efficient and went through the extra effort of avoiding damage to our outdoor hanging lights which were in the way of the truck atop the D&D tow truck. Arrival/drop off at our mechanic's place was a breeze. A big MAHALO to D&D for their towing expertise. We will call them again for sure! read more
