I went for my bridesmaids dress. Really quick service, dropped off 03/28 and got email saying it was done Monday 03/31! I was able to pick up the weekend after, they hold your items for 90 days so give them a heads up so happy to wear my dress! Mangers were nice and helpful read more

I haven't dry-cleaned anything in a very long time (I know, I know), and after reading some reviews, I picked CC on Culebra for their high rating. And I picked the *right* one! Linda was there for drop-off, and pickup, and we had a great conversation while I was getting my items. She's friendly, funny, and explained all the pricing very clearly. They were friendly and helpful. Refreshed an heirloom wedding dress that I wore for my courthouse wedding. It came out lovely and the price was SUPER REASONABLE! There were a couple stains that were still visible (but these stains had set in for like 20+ years so....) but all in all, they really brought it back to life. It looked beautiful. read more

WOW, I love this place. The people in here are so friendly and fast. I brought a really expensive suede king size bedspread to be cleaned after my dogs got into our room and laid/slobbered on it. It was perfectly clean in two days for like $40!!! It's wonderful to know this place is so close and has such amazing service. I'll definitely be a repeat customer! read more

I needed 2 bridesmaids dresses pressed for my upcoming wedding. I didn't think it would be a big deal since we are surrounded by different Dry Cleaners. The service that I received from Comet was excellent, the customer service and quality was excellent. Being retired Air Force retired I was using Young's cleaners on Valley Hi right outside the gate. I needed my suit cleaned and press for church. I decided to go to a cleaner close to home and I am glad that I did. I had three suit cleaned and pressed and it was ready the next day. As soon as they came with the suits, I could see the difference in the quality without removing the plastic. The prices are very reasonable. She is clear about any issues with the garments prior to cleaning or pressing. The cashier named Alex (who is also the owner's son) refused to count his clothes and insisted that he was going to list the clothing count at 20 pieces. My husband did not agree and asked for his clothing to be counted. The cashier was very rude and ended up denying service to my husband. The highlight of the visit was when the cashier informed my husband he was going to delete his account and told him to take his clothing elsewhere, all because he wanted his clothing accounted for! What kind of dry cleaning establishment doesn't do a clothing count? This is a huge red flag in the way they do business. I am all for supporting small businesses, but if this is the way they treat customers and law enforcement officers they need to reevaluate the way they do business or they wont have any. This is no way to treat a long term customer or any customer in general. We will be taking our business elsewhere and would not recommend these cleaners to anyone. * FOLLOW-UP* My husband ended up talking to an employee named Liz about the incident after it occurred. The whole time she kept defending Alex and his behavior, never apologizing for what happened. We later found out that this was a relative of his. It is quite apparent that they don't value their customers at all. We ended up talking to our neighbors later in the day and they had mentioned that this is a common occurrence with Alex, yet nothing is being done about it. It's no shock they have lost so many customers because of him....word travels fast in Helotes.

Very friendly people, but improper tailoring practices (per my new tailor)…read more When taking in slacks and skirts, they did not measure to make it even, which can be seen from the distance between back pockets and center seam. I took them to a different seamstress and she measured them to be off by a third an inch, and explained to me that it appeared the fabric was taken in from one side versus both sides. This causes the back of the slacks to look pinched at the center seam, like the fitness influencer butt scrunch shorts. They also forgot to add the back belt loops back on. My new tailor is trying to fix them, but she told me that ATG did not leave any fabric to let them back out and is recommending I throw out these pants altogether. I think these women are very nice and were friendly, and that's why I am giving 2-stars. But I paid around $800 to get several skirts, slacks, and jackets taken in. For the price, I wish they had been more detail oriented with measuring out exact lengths, and I wish they'd left some fabric for future alterations (which I have been told is typical practice).

I arrived in San Antonio for business, and needed to get some articles of clothing dry-cleaned for meetings. I struggled to find prospective dry cleaning service providers in the area....until I went to Comet....Excellent, excellent, excellent, decision. Itzel, was an absolutely delightful customer service personality to have met.. She was very patient, conversant, and properly disclosed what articles of clothing could be processed without causing damage. Itzel, called me by phone to proffer this information in a follow-up. This demonstrates accountable customer service and I appreciated such gesture. In addition, I spoke with Linda (Manager) by phone. Linda is very polite, courteous, personable, and professional-(all attributes which her staff have incorporated as employees with Comet). I would also like to acknowledge, Jackie, for her warm reception and kindness upon pick-up. In closing, I recognize Linda, Itzel, Diana, and Danielle, as a team of professionals that are composed of great customer service skill sets, and have left a lasting impression on me as a customer. I go out of my way to get to this Comet Cleaners. I have one closer to me but I stopped in one day while I was in that area and have never been anywhere else. I used to LOVE walking in and looking at the post cards on the wall...hundreds! (Customers showing their love from their vacations!!)... This is what drew me in to begin with. If customer's send postcards from their vacations, it means that they have connected with the staff and to me that means a lot. This is by far the best cleaners experience I've ever had. Not only was the cleaning service great, the customer service Linda provided was incredible! She was very patient with understanding what I needed done. I had a wool coat that had lots of lint on it and had something stuck in the pockets, maybe gum? I don't even know what it was lol. She explained the process to me and my options. She said the coat needed to be delinted and the pockets needed to be treated manually. When she told me that, I was skeptical of the results. But when I picked up my coat, it was perfect! I was so relieved since it was my favorite coat and I'd had it for years. The price also ended up being very low. I am so pleased with this Comet Cleaners location and this will definitely be my go to for future dry cleaning services. read more

I started bringing my clothes here for the wash and fold service because I was recovering from some medical problems and desperately needed help. After filling up my gold bags twice and finally not having to stress over it I am so happy with Linda and the teams work. Not only was everything cleaner than I'd ever get it but the way they fold them is so neat it has helped me stay organized. Even though I've caught up on my laundry I'm now coming back every 2 weeks! I have been going to Comet Cleaners on 1604 and Culebra for several years now, and although it's not the closest location for me, there's a reason why I keep going back to this one. It does not surprise me at all that Linda has won the best customer service award two years in a row, she is fantastic! She will greet you with the friendliest smile, always so cheerful, and by name mind you! It's impressive to me that she remembers every single client by name. I lived in San Antonio for a short 3 months. During that time I used this cleaners and the staff were friendly and helpful. The prices were good. And the quality of the dry cleaning was very good. I would suggest anyone use this cleaners. But, the over the top part of this dry cleaners is that I had to leave town due to work and go back home to Washington State. They had several items of mine, work suit, blouses, etc. I phoned them and they went to a lot of extra effort that they didn't charge me for, packaged them, and took them to a place to ship them to me. Second post on Yelp for the out of this world service you receive at this location, Linda, the manager of the store, continues to provide customer service bar none and her staff falls right in line with her values. Comet Cleaners should be very proud of Linda and the way she maintains the highest level of professionalism and customer service. The service and prices are spot on, even with more difficult items to clean, they are fair and bend over backwards to give the customer their very best. Same day dry cleaning, Linda was kind & very friendly , and welcoming. She was very easy to talk to , and was very organized. She made sure to ask about each article of clothing, making sure there was no confusion , since I was having some with extra starch, and others not. it was a military uniform , so she automatically added the discount, some stores won't , unless you ask. They email , and call when my clothes made it back to the store, and the email even contained the cost. Each garment is individually wrapped. This is definitely the only place I am coming to from now on. read more

Linda the location manager is awesome!!! She possesses outstanding customer service skills and remembers her customers names, I like and enjoy being greeted by name she also works at getting to know her customers and when she has the time she likes to visit with customers and learn about them and show concern for them. I have been taking my family's clothes here for years...am always satisfied! Manager Linda always goes out of her way to greet every customer (most of them by name--tells me I'm not the only repeat customer!). I have brought her many clothing challenges, and she has been able to fix every one! For example, my daughter-in-law needed a formal dress, and found one very cheap at a second hand store. I get my dry cleaning done every month at this location and almost always interact with Linda. Linda is so personable and accommodating. I usually come in and need my garments cleaned within 24-48 hour window and Linda and her team has NEVER disappointed! Like I said, I only go there once a month so she does not see me often. Nonetheless, Linda remembers me by name and I appreciate her taking the time and effort to regard me by name. Highly recommended this location. Thank you Linda for going the extra mile!!! I was heading out of town Sunday and needed to pick up clothes for the trip by Saturday 5pm...but forgot and drove up at 630pm...Linda was there working, door locked, but she opened the door to the same welcoming response and processed my pickup. A lot of cleaners get a bad rep but this one has far exceeded my expectations each and every time with a friendly welcome, fast customer service, and easy drop-off. By far the best customer service I have ever experienced in this area of service. I have been to hundreds of dry cleaning facilities and not one has come close to this level of courtesy, professionalism, attention to your needs and requests, and a true sense caring. While using a competitor for over a year, I had a few problems: the competitor consistently ignored my requests; about 75% of the time the order was not right. The competitor offered a lot of discounts but did not submit a receipt, even when requested. (Was I really saving money?)
