This is the third time I've taken defensive driving in the last 15 years. One was a different comedy one in 2002 and it was boring but suitable to get a 5 mph over the limit speeding ticket off my record. The other was an online one a few years ago for insurance purposes only and it was REALLY boring and wasted a whole day. But today's defensive driving class with Dwight to get a failing-to-stop ticket dismissed was entertaining, informative, and only used a part of my Saturday (9am-3pm on the dot). Dwight was funny and personable, the class had videos that explained things way better than words do, and I actually learned what a blue reflector set in the road means. :-) Overall, if/when I need to take a defensive driving course again (hopefully in 3 years for insurance again), I'll be going to Comedy Driving Inc. read more

Chuck Montgomery was the instructor that gave the class on Saturday 5/28/16. At first I did not know what to expect but he quickly took over the stage and proceeded to teach the class and continually make me laugh. I really enjoyed the class, I reviewed and learned stats and things I did not know. The audio effects and music added to the interaction of the class with students. There was a student who was falling sleep due to working the night before, people if you are tired don't attend. You need to pay attention, by law, so plan ahead. Chuck, thank you for such a wonderful class. I will take my 14 and 15 year old boys to attend the class as a pre-requisite to adding them to my insurance and after driving classes. After the shock of getting a ticket subsided and I obtained approval to attend a defensive driving course, I contemplated on taking the online course rather than the classroom course. Glad I took the course live as I preferred not to sit in front of a computer at home with distractions... The instructor, Demetria Dixon was extremely hilarious. I enjoyed the class and actually learned a few new laws. Additionally, Demetria shared past experiences while cutting up on several jokes... it certainly allowed the 6 hour class to go by quickly. Absolutely do not take defensive driving online! Go to the Laff Spot and do the class. It's absolutely painless, the time goes by super fast because you're being entertained the whole time. And if possible, make sure you have Adam as the instructor. Funniest, realist, most b.s. free instructor I've seen. And I've seen a lot! I get a ticket on average about once a year, and you're allowed to take defensive driving for a ticket once a year. Adam was very funny. Enjoyed the class! Would recommend to others. The videos were informative and the class was very interactive. I have taken a defensive driving course in the past and the comedy really helped the six hours go by quickly. That is saying a lot because I took the Monday evening course. A couple of things I would have appreciated would have been coupons available on premise. I didn't realize the flyer I received in the mail was a coupon, so I was surprised that the course was more expensive onsite. So don't forget to bring the flyer if you want to pay $25. read more

Chuck facilitated our defensive driving course and this guy is the most kind & FUNNY guy on Planet Earth!!! Obviously, no one is ever excited about attending a defensive driving course but, Chuck throughly taught an informed class around safe driving hence, he also managed to keep our class totally engaged and laughing!!! The most amazing part - he was very diligent as I received my certificate of completion for the court in less than 2 days. OK, defensive driving! If you decide to do a defensive driving course, I would recommend this location with Adam. He keeps the pace moving and you can have a few laughs to make the time pass quickly. Actually, you will learn something as well which is always a bonus. I will follow up with another post should my certificate not show up within the 7 days as stated but I have full confidences it will! This comedy defensive driving place was like no other. Normally, you get the cheesy dude. Go 4-10 on Mondays and get Ms. Dixon and she will make the time fly! She wasn't a laugh a minute. I actually learned stuff I didn't know. She was like the funny one in your group of friends. It was like real life humor. Subtle, cool, legit. I highly recommend this this defensive driving class, especially presented by Chuck. He is very entertaining but informative. His main concern is helping you get the information you need to be a better driver and helping you pass the end of class test. Having an accident isn't fun, but getting a ticket for it made it even worse! But Dwight made taking the class great. I actually learned some things that I "thought" I already knew. I think all 17 that were there enjoyed the class..The time really went faster than I thought it would and It was better than sitting in front of a computer for 6 hours. Demetria Dixon provided an ideal environment for a tedious task. I expected the time to drag by in very slow motion. My husband and I have taken this course every few years since the 1980's and each time it has been the most boring day of my life. However this experience seemed to fly by with light entertainment. I attended Comedy Driving at Willowbrook for my defensive driving course and had a very satisfactory experience there. Chuck, the instructor, did a great job keeping it live with his antics and jokes. I even found out some interesting facts I was unaware of. 10/22/17 was my second time attending defensive driving at this location. Every time I go I learn something new. Dwight is welcoming!!! I felt comfortable and he teachers very will. He helps you understand what you can and can't do while driving. I would go back to this again and recommend to others. The cost of everything is a decent price. Great company!! read more

I took this course before online, but this time I chose to attend the class. Demetria Dix was the instructor, and she made it fun. Online was super boring and it took me about 8 hours to complete because I kept dozing off, but I stayed awake the whole class time. Good class when everyone is participating. Oh, and it only cost $35. I like that new price. read more

I took this course for insurance purposes and was dreading taking it but Neitra, our comedian instructor made the class go by very fast. She was upbeat and funny. Her Joel Olsten impersonation was very good and was asked to do again. She said that we would learn at least one new thing (I learned 4 things I did not know). I would take it again!!! read more

Demetria Dixon is a great instructor. She's funny but loves life and ensures we understand the seriousness of preventing accidents. I love this lady. I took so much more from this class and recommend spending the day here to anyone to remind ourselves and to learn more about new laws regarding our roadways as well as having fun while doing it. read more

The class was good. Adam was funny but still gave us lots of valuable information. I was actually kind of glad I had to go to defensive driving. I feel I will be a much better driver. Adam kept the class moving quickly so we didn't get bored. There were breaks and time to eat lunch. During the breaks we got to watch comedy videos which was fun. read more

Wow, defensive driving class, what a pain in the ***. However, my instructor (Chuck) was excellent. He was able to get good class participation which actually made the experience somewhat enjoyable. I learned some things I didn't know before this class. Good job Chuck. If I ever have to do it again, nooooo, I would choose this class. read more
