Somebody lied to you if they said this was funny. At all. This has got to be the most boring, irrelevant, stupidest course I've ever taken. I've only ever taken three in my long life, but this has got to be the stupidest one and most boring course I have ever taken! Here's why: 1. They do not tell you in the beginning that you have to have the ability to print an affidavit and have it signed by a notary if you are doing a driver's course from a different state. 2. Literally the stupidest course ever. You have to do 6 hours but they fill those hours with irrelevant nonsense. Things like an animated classroom with people making conversation. I don't give a crap about fake people, I took the course to learn something and so far, I'm an hour into it and I've learned nothing. 3. Incorrect questions. After each chapter or subsection you are required to answer a series of questions. The first one I answered was, "What is the city listed on my driver's license?" I'M OUT OF STATE! So my city wasn't listed so I had to mark a false answer, one that I thought would be correct, in order to move forward. Another question asked about how many fatalities there are in the US. The video mentioned one thing, the test question mentioned something different, but reality yet again, is in fact none of the above. So I had to mark the answer that was closest to fact, but it was incorrect according to the test (I got the question correct, but their information was inconsistent and wrong). The video ended but my time on the page had not so I had to sit there and stare at a black screen for over a minute. Yeah, learned a whole lot on that one . 4. You have to select closed captions for EVERY single video, and there are tons and tons of videos in each chapter. Why? When I clicked on captions in the top right hand corner, it just gave me a script of each video which I can get when I'm on each video. So the only way to get closed captions is to click the CC at the bottom of EACH video. There are dozens and dozens and dozens of videos. So guess what? I didn't do closed captions because it was ridiculously unrealistic. 5. The fees are not posted up front. Sure, the course is $25, but then you have to pay more money to have your certificate shipped to you, and even more if you want to download it, plus there's also an administrative fee. So in the end, it was actually $8 more than advertised. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! read more

Went online to get a classroom course and after filling out what I thought, the application was for that at the end, I found out that it was online and when I called to speak with someone found out that they don't offer classroom and that's what I wanted because it was in writing two ways of getting the course taken either online or in classroom And then I saw a review stating that it was a waste of this one person's time going there and this is something really serious. I'm needing to do so I want driver safety program or business. That's gonna help me do what I need to have done. But I was told that I would get my refund within 3 to 5 business days. read more

Had to take the class to erase a traffic ticket. Took the online class. The class was a little over 6 hours long which I was able to take over 2 days. Thankfully, the class was not boring at all. Online version was horrible. It's not funny. They have a bunch of short clip that require you to hit play/next. It end up taking a lot longer than the 6 hours to complete. Sometime they ask you idiotic question like "why did Jane swerve all the road?" If you answer it wrong, you have to watch the 15 minute clip all over again. If you answer the next question wrong, do it again. I was paying full attention on the second time and still got it wrong. read more

I have been coming to this location for 25 years to help reduce my car insurance and I'll be coming back again in 3 years. Our instructor, Ray, did a great job outlining the day's activities and helping make sure we were prepared to easily ace the short test at the end. They kept the videos moving and made sure we were not bored. My only criticism was how cold it was in the room. Granted, I was in shorts and the day of my class we had few students so not a lot of heat generated despite it being wam outside. read more

Had a great time at Defensive Driving, Many people can not say that. The course is really 6 hours long. I took the 9-3 shift on a Sunday. But the Instructor is super funny, with animations that makes the time go by fast! If you ever get a ticket or citation I 10/10 recommend THIS Location. It's truly a one-stop shop, you can get $20 drivers record, but pay for it online it's cheaper $12 to be exact. there's a $35 class fee all payments of methods are acceptable. This is a very well done online course. I'm so glad I took the time to research which online defensive class to take. I almost took a different one that ended up having bad reviews. There were no surprises here. It really does cost what they say it costs and I got my certificate as soon as I finished the class. (The fee for immediate receipt of certificate was nominal). It was indeed funny. I have to say that the class can only be as funny as the people in it! We had a few characters in my class and that was definitely entertaining. It didn't even feel like 6 hours! We took the class Thursday and the certificate was in my mailbox Saturday! The class started at 4 and ended at 10pm, we got two 10 minute breaks and one 1/2 Lunch (dinner??) break. I took this course for a speeding ticket in order to get it off my record. Im a math person I don't have the attention span to sit in front of a screen and answer questions it's common sense, BUT this defensive driving course was goofy and had a lot of humorous efforts built in the course that's only $25 to get into which made it interesting for me and easy to finish. They make it easy to login and out whenever you please, if you exit the course or your phone/ laptop dies it will remember EXACTLY where you left off !! You can also have the certificate emailed to you which makes it fast and easy to print out, and take to the court to get dismissed. This online course is a complete ripoff they take your money for immediate download of certificate then tell you it will take 5 days delivery once an affidavit is sent in verifying your vehicle. Then they rudely hung up on me for the second time after I asked for a refund. I needed this course certificate to get a new job and I don't have $30 dollars to lose like this. I just turned in my Defensive Driving Certificate at Court Yesterday. Thanks to this local, Comedy Driving was a fun and a bit scary at times. The most weirdest & ignorant people will be amongst you. Watching an Episode of The Simpsons or Reno 911 in between Funny Driving Education & humorously horrible videos, is worth the time & money. It's located next to a pub and smoke shop, in a deserted & vandalized shopping strip off I-10 West before beltway 8. Break Tips: Bring plenty of quarters for vending snacks. Pack your Lunch if you get dropped off or drive around for 20 minutes to find and eat your Lunch. Park & Enter the business through the back of the building, or else they make you & embarrass you. Because there's a HUGE sign up front that tells you So. It's a classroom sized room with comfy seats and permanent marker graffiti all around you. You can add your story to the wall too, if you wish, once you pass. You will pass, even if you miss the obvious trick question. Like I did. Enjoy the laughs, smartArses & Free Coffee. Safe Driving....Don't Text & Drive. Don't Drink & Drive. Don't Drink, Eat, Tweet, Text or anything else & Drive. Become a Donor and you might save Lives :) $35 bucks for the Class. The online course wasn't terrible. The animations were cheesy, but somewhat entertaining. My biggest problem with this company is the shipping. I have the Certificate of Completion shipped twice by regular mail, but it never came. I eventually had to overnight the thing, costing me another $16.
