I moved three blocks to a new house that had been empty for 7 years.I called a week ahead of my planned move to have the exact same internet and cable services changed.I explained the house would need to be wired for the service. I requested technician to come do the install. NOTHING BUT RUN AROUND AND BS FOR OVER 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE INSTALL HAPPENED.I spoke with minimally 5 different depts and was call dropped, transferred to wrong dept and told to try another cable servicer. Two telephone calls over 2 hrs each time. they originally sent me all the new equipment but again there was no way to hook it up because the house had been empty 7 yrs and was never wired for their services. The day the equipment arrived I called 2 hrs to finally get a person who stated no one had requested an install technician (I found out later on that was never input into the new order). Had to wait another week for an install technician. I had to take an unpaid work day off, That day of the install the technician was an hour late. And a vm called and said he was running late and asked if I wanted to reschedule, without telling me he would be here later or when. I was back on the phone and hour trying to talk to someone and he finally arrived. Its a HORRIBLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH IN ANY MANNER. THERE MUST BE 10 DIFFERENT ADS ONLINE AND NUMBERS TO CALL BUT CANT GET A REAL PERSON and when you finally do (2 hrs later) you are in the wrong dept and they cannot help. THIS COMPANY IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND ANNOYING AT BEST.IF THE TECHNICIAN HAD NOT SHOWN UP TODAY I WOULD HAVE DUMPED THEM COMPLETELY. IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER CHOICE GO THERE.WHEN I MOVE NEXT TIME I WILL CHANGE. THE REAL KICKER IS WHEN THEY HAVE A PRE RECORDED ANNOUNCEMENT WHEN YOU NEED TO CHANGE ADDRESS THAT SAYS, "WE KNPW MOVING CAN BE STRESSFUL, WE ARE HERE TO MAKE YOUR MOVE EASY AND STRESS FREE, WE APPRECIATE YOU AS A LOYAL CUSTOMER" WHAT A BUNCH OF INSULTING S H I T !!!! read more

They've got the crappiest service of all I've had problems with my internet and my cable service both.my internet my modem resets itself almost every day I've replaced 3 modems already now!!!and my cable I've got HD service and I get pixelation and skipping alot I've had a person come out to check it n they've said theres nothing wrong with it.and I've tried replacing the hdmi cords couple times no luck!!so there wrong when theyve told me that theres no problems. And theyve told me my internet connection was okay well let me say this if it's working properly then why is my modem resetting itself? I would give them no stars if I could!! read more

I'd like to bitch about Comcast, and I used to bitch loudly when we were getting cable TV with internet.. The cable TV packages absolutely suck. HOWEVER.. their cable internet is great. We are paying for 65Mb down and routinely get 68-69Mb down. I can't remember the last time the internet went down, it's been rock solid.. read more

I had to contact Comcast continually for two and a half weeks in regards to a low hanging wire running across my backyard to my neighbors house that I believed to be Comcast. Had to make three separate repair tickets because the first two were closed without any technicians coming out to look at the situation. Pretty easy to see the problem. I would get phone calls while I was at work asking for more info but no call back number, redial goes to the main line where no one could help except to say answer when I was called. I am not a current customer and was even told it's easier and faster to help my situation if I'm a customer. Shows where their priorities are, not like customers get much better since I was one before. I was even told someone came out and took care of the situation when clearly the wire was still hanging at neck height. Finally someone decided to come out and check on it and said it wasn't theirs. I'm glad it took all that work and long phone calls for someone to come by for 10 minutes worth of work. Would have been nice to have those two weeks to be talking to the right people instead of the runaround. Worst customer service whether you are a customer or not. read more
