They quickly pulled out their flip book of "added items" that they could provide me with. Laughably it included their own extended warranty... so if I pay the already high price I get a shorter warranty than if I agree to pay an even higher price? Additionally their extended warranty included "quicker appointment scheduling". So people that don't pay extra get to be ignored for longer? This whole process felt more like a shake down than anything else. Additionally the job was described in illusive and vague terms as to why the price was so high. Unfortunately for them, they never asked why I was calling them to begin with. I'm more than capable of doing the job myself but at the time I had other more pressing priorities and I needed this done for me. Ultimately I ended up calling another local plumber and he came out same day, completed the job in 3 hours, but a full day, and did it for 40% less without the hassle of trying to upsell his own work. He also said that he'd be happy to come back out if any issues came up in the next year at no cost. I am leaving this review as 3-star because I am giving them credit for being decent plumbers despite being miserable salesman. Leave the upselling for the fast food drive thru and restaurants. Quote and honest and competitive price and stand by your work.... do force people to pay more for what you should be doing anyways.
