Have attempted twice now to get service at a new location and each time just when I think I have everything done the way they want it I find out that NO - I missing something that they absolutely must have. Why is it that they failed to tell you everything that you need in order to establish service. I find it disappointing that this is the only high-speed Internet provider in this area. If and when I'm able to make the switch to any other Service provider I will do so. I truly believe that we are all paying way too much for communication services because of authorized monopolies such as Comcast. Worst company ever. We paid for fast internet service, and didn't get it for a year. They kept coming to our house to fix it, and nothing ever worked. Finally, they figured out that it was a problem with the router boxes and told us to take them to the service center to be replaced. We did. Then they said they'd send us a $200 gift card since we had been paying for a service that we hadn't gotten. We never received the card, and when we asked about it, they said they had no idea what we were talking about. 14 months later, we ask for an itemized bill, because we are thinking of switching service providers, and we find out they have been charging us for the 2 old router boxes since the day we returned them. When this was brought to their attention, they said they refused to give our money back for those months that they were overcharging us. Needless to say, we cut ties with Comcast, and we will never go back. They are crooks, and they are liars. read more

Been a Comcast customer for a long time. Switched to Metronet to try their internet. Lady talked me into a "seasonal hold" instead of canceling. Failed to tell me that I would be charged $8 a month plus taxes and the fees of equipment which i don't own. So I'm paying $28 a month to have nothing and you have to hold for minimum of 3 months or you have to back pay your original monthly fees for cancelling your hold early. None of this was discussed or disclosed to me. I would have just cancelled and reconnected if I didn't like Metronet. Which we love their internet by the way. Don't get scammed like I did read more

We have a box out since March, no one in the office and only an automated online chat and if your problem isn't one you can pick from you get no help, just headaches. Calling, that's a laugh for as long as you're online. There are in the communication business, but yet their communication is horrible. Even in a pandemic, people need their services more than ever. I don't get why they can't even have a real person do the online chat. They NEED competition for sure in this area. read more

I had Comcast for years, switched to Metronet for the price. Scheduled a shut off date and paid last bill for Comcast. Turned all my equipment in at store, they confirmed I did NOT owe any more money. Comcast turned me into collections when it was planned and paid current. Comcast lied and hurt my credit for no reason. I will never switch back or ever recommend Comcast. read more

We had comcast for 5 months. once the service started it was pretty good. many missed appointments and lies i give them 2 stars instead of 1 because service worked. Our problem was because every month the bill was wrong. The internet would be rated 5 by far it was best. but all the lies and billing problems has definately soured me. it is a shame they have little competition. read more
