Comcast cable Company is terrible, horrible, all the customer representatives, managers are liars. I talked to a billing manager to pay my bill over the phone. On the phone calls that was made for the past two days each customer service representatives, and managers lied on a recorded phone about my bill each time. All them treated me unprofessional, nasty, and horrible each time. In each phone I was given false information about my bill. In which, Comcast cable has very expensive price bundle that people cannot afford at all. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMCAST CABLE TO ANYONE AT ALL! Especially, not yo my family, friends, and the American people. The Comcast Company is TERRIBLE! Please do not have sign at all to Comcast cable. If I could give a 0 I would! Ok, so where do I start? I signed on to get cable service with you all and the next appointment was 2 weeks later. So, 3 days before my appointment I called to see if my appointment could be changed due to work for that Friday, the 7th which I made clear. The agent told me she had Friday, I said ok I'll take it. When verifying the date, the agent said she had to go back and make sure it was the right date because she didn't double check. She then tells me that it was for the wrong date, which ended up being a week later. Again, I already had to wait 2 weeks, I told her never mind and to keep my original date. I heard uncertainty in her voice so I made sure it was set back and she informed me that it was. It wasn't until my appointment day I find out that it actually was set to the 14th which was a week after my supposed to be appointment. I was LIVID! I spoke with a manager, it took him about 5 hours, but he was able to get me an appointment the next day. That next day being today. So let me tell you, my appointment was for 10-12. I receive a call from the technician at 12:15 telling me he was running late. I was really just focused on getting service today as oppose to the time, so I tell him that was fine. 5:00 comes and I decide to call him back just to reinsure that he was still coming, but there was no answer. He then calls me at 6:01 and tells me he's in route and will get to me in 20 minutes. Ok, that was a joke because it's 8:40 now and still no one is here. At this point I'm over it!!! I have never been through this with a cable company. Pure insanity. I haven't even gotten service yet and this is what is going on smh. read more

I have been with Comcast since January 19 it is now the beginning of August they have been to my home several times to tell me everything is hooked up right I know nothing about cable but knew it had to be outside on the power lines common sense well when they finally did it I called to see if I could get some kind of credit since I had so many problems they were giving me $150 off but when it came to honoring it they said we would never do that it doesn't show anything on our computers. Absolutely terrible. Did not deliver on Tuesday to APG. Driver (Kevin) called us at 4:15 and said "The Gate guards won't allow commercial vehicles after 4:00." So we called Comcast. The lady I spoke to informed me that her driver had all the correct identification,vehicle documents, etc. So I went to the gate guard and spoke to the individual guard who dealt with Kevin, the Comcast driver. Kevin did not have proper identification and was in an unmarked van. So, Comcast rescheduled for Saturday, 1:00-5:00. When I called customer service, outsourced to a call center in the Philippines, I was told that we had been rescheduled for 1:00-5:00 Sunday. Of course, nobody told us about the change. Obviously, pretty unhappy at this point and told the customer service rep I was unhappy. Her statement back to me was incredible: "Sir, you won't be charged for the time you have been waiting." At that point, I was done. Can't wait for Comcast to show up. Wish I could give 1/4 star. read more

After six online attempts and three phone calls I have officially given up trying to resolve my cable issue today. Rdk-03032 code last light couldn't change channel or access menu. Same code today so we rebooted per their site recommendation. Did that twice but kept getting red screen saying to disconnect and reconnect the box. Did that twice and not only kept getting that screen (after about an hour total time now waiting for this crap to reboot repeatedly) now it will not connect to the tv at all. Looking at a black screen while the box says .PSt on it. And yes it's all plugged back in properly. Extremely frustrated with the continuous lack of quality in this, as well as with the wifi. Need to switch that off my device almost daily due to how slow it is, forcing me to instead use data. Plus when we first signed up we were paying 99 a month for phone, tv, and internet and now it's up to 168 for just tv and internet. We're just playing the waiting game at this point til they offer Verizon tv and internet in our neighborhood then we will be cancelling. read more

An Xfinity sales rep engaged me at a local Walmart. I almost dismissed him, but with skepticism listened anyway. I immediately shared with him my apprehension to return to Comcast because of past issues and dissatisfaction with service and misrepresentations. He assured me that it was all above board. He reviewed a contract plan that included 100 Mbps internet, "Preferred TV" package and phone. I explained that I had no need or would not use the phone, but would take it if needed for the benefits of the plan. I later reconfirmed the information that we reviewed by email and set an appointment to finalize. He told me on more than one occasion, that I had the option to buy my own modem to avoid the $10/month rental of theirs. I also remarked that their internet at 100 Mbps upload and download was better than FIOS I currently had at 75/75. Installer came, and hooked up service. Left TV in middle of floor, trash at each location outside house where cables were stripped, etc. Took my personal "splitters" that were in place when he reran new cables. Never reviewed phone service, which didn't matter at time. I took Xfinity modem back to office next day as discussed with sales rep, and they refused to take it citing that my personal modem does not have a phone jack and by law, must have it since the service is provided! Explaining that sales rep told me otherwise did not matter. I told the sales rep and he reached out to his manager, only to come back and tell me that is the policy! He did nothing more to resolve his misrepresentation that we discussed in length. Then, my son explained poor gaming interaction over the internet. I checked speeds and upload was registering at 5-6 Mbps. I called about that and found that was the upload speed that I signed up for! Only download was 100 Mbps! I had inferred that I expected 100 / 100 with sales rep during our conversation as well! Now I'm stuck without an alternative because FIOS takes 30 days to resolve final billing; and wouldn't you know it, that's the cancellation time frame with Xfinity without a penalty! Stuck with misrepresentations of Comcast again! No one at Comcast seems to care of my dissatisfaction and I feel strongly legitimate. Being extremely ill, I cannot continue to exhaust precious time with their litany of phone menus and disinterest of offering any resolution. I am trying to warn others of their continued shady practices of offering incorrect information and service promises. Stay away from Comcast if at all possible! read more

Comcast Customer Service is terrible. You can no longer speak with a local person. You will undoubtedly get the run around from Comcast. You will spend hours upon hours of your time trying to get a simple request fulfilled. This is not a complaint against the employee(s) at this store, but a bit of a warning for those new to the area of North Eastern Harford County, MD who are thinking of getting CommunistCast. I signed the typical 2-year cable/internet in September 2014. With two $10/mo. add-ons, I started at $110/mo. In 15 months, the bill crept up to $135/mo. The agreement term just expired here in 2016. They now are proud to inform me that my bill is $185/mo. Doing the math, that's roughly 40%. I was told that this still includes a discounted price. What a self-serving comment that is. Is this not from a top figure they set??? THIS IS PRICE GOUGING and something will be done about it. Verizon Fios does not service our grid area at this time. CommunistCast knows this and I'm gone as soon as they do. This also has happened to all my co-residents that have CommunistCast in the building I live in. Direct TV satellites are not allowed in my building or I would go in that direction. Shop wisely. LOOK AT ALL YOUR OPTIONS! Good luck! read more

Signed up online for new service, scheduled installation (confirmation email received). Installation day, no one shows up. Call customer service, they can't help because it is a new sale, transfer to sales. Sales can't do anything to account, told to go to local store. Go to local store, they see the account, they also see a cancellation with no reason listed. They can set up a new service, but they can't give same 'deal' as online, only option is to go online and start over. No thanks, they lost my business. read more
