This cesspool of a company left an exposed cable across my entire backyard for over a month! Getting someone to help is next to impossible, so I've filed complaints with the FCC and FTC, as well as my local city manager. Let me register my absolute disgust at this business. I was with them since 2016, and gradually grew to dislike them intensly, but there was so real competitor for them untill now. Google fiber turned up, and I now have a mesh wireless network with consistent performance that I love. Something I never got from Comcast or infinity . To make matters even worse, after years of bad service, poor equipment, and customer support that consisted of some badly trained techs , speaking even worse English pretending to know what they are doing, they insisted on one last bill, months after I'd left them. Not only that , they sent it to collections, and dinged my credit as their parting gift. My dearest Comcast/ xfinity , I will speak badly of you for the rest of my life, now. Worst internet service, for the last two weeks, there's been an outage at least sox times, that I am aware. Do not recommend this company. Besides it is really hard to talk to a human being, if you dial the customer service number, the message says they know about the situation and it will be restored soon. TERRIBLE SERVICE! read more

Poor service provided, no way to call and speak with an agent. Expensive service with really poor quality product and if you're service has an outage, they offer a $3.35 credit to my $200/ month bill. And they have outages all over once a month. read more

Wish I could give a rating below NO STARS!!! Where do I begin...agreed to a new contract/price and they go and change it (of course not lowering it) the following month! Customer service is horrible they do not listen to what you are saying or let you complete your sentence. Asking for a supervisor does no good because "they are currently not available". Takes 4 days to get a business internet & phone repair that was caused by truck hitting the low hanging lines (that they installed). Comcast says that they're suspending data caps yet they're still charging for them! I pay a $50 penalty every month to not have a data cap. My bill is $50 plus the $50 penalty for no data cap. So if they've removed data caps for everyone, why am I still paying the $50 penalty charge? The radio Internet providers are now matching Xfinity's speeds. I'm switching as soon as I can. I don't normally leave a review, and normally when I do it's only because I've had such a great experience I think others should know to support a company that gets customer service right. Comcast/Xfinity is at the other end of that spectrum by a long shot. Been with them for years, only because they were the only halfway decent internet service in our neighborhood. Their service has gone downhill. We've had multiple outages this year, and i finally looked at our bill and what we were being charged for after Quantum Fiber knocked on our door the other day. Should have looked way sooner. We had originally signed up for 150Mbps on some promotional deal that dropped off after 2years. We were paying $55/month until the promotion dropped off. Then our bill started climbing. Evidently they kept ratcheting up the internet speed we were being charged for $91/month (800Mbps), but never bothered to up the speed of the internet actually being delivered. It was still being throttled at about 175Mbps if everything was running perfectly. Scummy business if you ask me. Thankful I'm not in a monopoly anymore. They are somehow able to offer new customers $25/month 150Mbps internet in my neighborhood, but as an existing customer, the lowest the customer retention rep was able to offer was $65/month. I think they are just banking on people being too lazy and not wanting to go through the pain of switching providers. Mom always said a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Well this bird has flown, and you should fly away too if you're able. My career has been in the customer service/sales world for over 20 years. Xfinity gets a big fat "F" for customer satisfaction, retention, value, delivering the service you paid for, and the list goes on. Honestly should probably be reported to the FTC, but I don't have time for that. Xfinity is a horrible,opportunistic, company! The only nice thing I can say is the nice lady they have working for them in the customer retention department was honest and pleasant to talk to. Comcast Xfinity mailed me two new cable tv boxes that I did not request and did not need. But I self installed the new boxes and returned the old boxes as they requested. They stated that there would be no difference in billing. However, the new boxes do not display the channel numbers. This is a reduction of services and, in my opinion, should result in a reduction of fees. I have talked to Comcast Xfinity Customer Service about this issue but they are unwilling to reduce my cable TV bill. read more

I didn't go to the store I called the Comcast customer support. Number one I got a poor connection and the person on the other end couldn't fix it. The person on the other end couldn't even transfer me to a better connection with some other agent. The agent lectured me. New automated system doesn't even let you talk to a person (customer service agent) unless you have resolved your billing issue..... And will hang up on you if you don't choose to pay your bill now. My bill was behind, I will admit. I spoke to customer service a couple times in December to let them know that I was struggling financially and that I would be able to bring the account current in January when I got paid on the 15th. I may have misheard that my bill needed to be paid on the 6th, but today on the 4th, all my services were suspended. I was planning to call in today to set up the arrangement (after the long holiday weekend), but obviously everything was suspended before I had a chance to do that. I called in to resolve the issue, and the automated system states, "YOU MAY NOT SPEAK TO A CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT UNTIL THE MINIMUM PAYMENT IS MADE." This was repeated from the automated system on every one of 10 calls that I made today. And on most calls the automated system then hung up on me shortly after. After a Herculean effort, I got through the blocked systems twice, but two of the CSA's that I spoke to, were so flippant and disrespectful it didn't help the situation at all. Their behavior just cemented how classless that Comcast CS training is. How am I supposed to resolve an issue unless I can address it with the automated system or speak to somebody?!? The app/online had not addressed my issues properly in the past and was not letting me set a payment arrangement for after the 15th - and I didn't know why. So, I wanted to make a call. The "help" screen on my television stated that I should call the number, right? I should be able to get help at the CS number, right? And then it doesn't help me and repeatedly hangs up on me??? What does it take to report a complaint? What does it take not to be treated with such disrespect? I agree I need to pay my bill, but I was trying to do exactly that! It wasn't letting me speak to anyone so I could set up an arrangement. It has been a struggle for so many of us right now and I knew I would be able to reconcile my bill with my next paycheck. But I needed to talk to someone. I can imagine that a scenario like this would be impossible for most elderly persons or special need persons to resolve. And if you can't pay a certain amount RIGHT NOW, we don't need to serve you?!?!?! That type of response is absolutely unacceptable. For as much as their fees are, there is no way they should be treating their customers with such disrespect and denying them customer service. It is irresponsible and unprofessional. I have to consider what I need to do next, but I am seriously considering leaving this company for service. I would have left long ago, but I take care of a special need person (or often 2 people) in my home and I have tried to have her use every other system, and she cannot control any other system due to her special needs. I would like to allow her as much independence as possible, but at what cost? I am so upset by the treatment I received today (with the exception of the one lady who really seemed to care) that I don't know what to do. I am tired of the expensive and sub-par service I am getting - if it wasn't the only thing my client has been able to use.... I need to make some noise so that their corporate personnel is aware and hopefully can make some real changes..... or at least other people can know how little class Xfinity/Comcast has, and to definitely not go with them if they have a choice. read more

Well, comcast has done it yet again. I just got my current bill and almost dropped dead when I saw the increase in the cost. Yet again, they did not indicate that my current promotion was ending. I feel that they don't tell you about this so they can squeeze every extra penny out of their customers. Regarding the increase, I called to see if I could get a better price than the $52 that my bill increased to, from $30. The first agent I spoke with was pleasant and courteous (and I think off shore) but she kept offering me the same product over and over and actually tried to add to my service and cost. She didn't really know what internet products were on the price increase letter I got with my bill. She also told me that the package I have (up to 15 Mbps) is no longer available and the base is now 25 Mbps. The best offer was $40, a 25% price increase over my current bill! I had a supervisor call me, she was also pleasant and courteous but could not provide me a package at a reasonable price. Comcast, how much money is enough? I understand that costs go up, but 25 to 50%? I just find this hard to believe. I only wish that my salary went up 25 to 50% pear to year. I will be shopping for a new ISP today and will be dropping comcast ASAP! If there was a no stars option I would have chosen that! read more
