This is a great little find. We were in the area for a brief weekend away, and wanted to find a nice local coffee shop. While I'm not the coffee person, they did make a great earl grey for me. My partner thoroughly enjoyed her coffee though. The owners is super friendly and very welcoming. If it's nice enough, sit outside and maybe walk around. There's a tiny chapel there that is a great spot for a quiet moment to yourself.

The perfect find!! Part of an entertainment and shopping district. The owners of the coffee "truck" are hands on. Cappuccino was perfectly made.. temperature was drinkable! Lavender vanilla latte had just enough sweetness. Espresso flavor still comes through. Sausage kolache had flakey crust. The actual sausage was pre sliced so biting into it was easy!! A definite detour off the main road for quality coffee!! read more

Had the most delicious strawberry chocolate hot coffee. I think it was a mocha. It was the featured flavor. I can't remember anymore. I was too busy enjoying it. I definitely recommend it. It actually tasted like strawberries and chocolate. Super yum. Customer service was awesome. read more

What a cute coffeeshop! Right off the highway, you will find Comal County Coffee which has a long list of coffee options. We stopped in for a snack and caffeine boost before our hike! The coffee and tea options were delicious and the staff was pleasant. Thank you all for the great welcome, we will be returning again soon. read more

It's a cute little shop off of the highway. The gentleman was super friendly and welcomed me when I came in. He was assisting another patron but let me know he'll be with me soon. I got a large iced latte with sea salt caramel and hazelnut. It was huge and came with four shots. It was a little sweet but that was on me! Definitely recommend read more

I get a real funny feeling Everytime I enter this business.. I've been more than five times in the past, and I always leave uneasy / uncomfortable. Just don't like the vibes... Too much sugar in the coffee as well. The kolaches are filled with a hotdog and a single kraft cheese slice. Just skip out on this place.. Cheap. Very nice people who own the business.. read more

Walked in to check the store out for the 1st time because drive by often and would possibly use for marketing clients in the area. Went to use bathroom 1st. Blonde barista said, "what can I get you?" as I walked to the bathroom while she was helping a customer. Told her it was my 1st time here and doing due diligence for future use. She rudely interrupted me and stated "bathrooms are for customers only." Ummmm... that's what I was...! So, rude and then said "have a nice day when I walked out ". I'm a professional, was dressed accordingly. I will never set foot in that establishment again... ever. I'm writing this 5 minutes post incident. It pissed me off that much. read more

After driving by many times, I finally took time to stop in for coffee. Bummed that I waited so long :) Coffee is delicious! There is also a small selection of breakfast type items and pastries, along with other beverages besides coffee. There is a large patio with ample seating and an outdoor fireplace - wood burning - that they will start lighting as the weather gets colder. There is inside seating to include typical table/chairs along with sofas / chairs (think living room). To go orders can be placed ahead of time and you can pick up at the walk-up window or come inside. read more

Peggy did take me on a mini tour of their production facility...would classify this place as a nano winery...small batches done in a not so traditional way...mostly West Coast grapes and made in single batches and aged in carboys. The results speak for themselves...damn good wine at fair prices. Great venue...too bad it was dumping down rain...they have a couple of pergolas out back as well as lots of open seating..next time. When we finally had to go...2.5 hours later, we felt like they were family...very genuine people who love what they do and have a passion about their products.

Comal Coffee has a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff, but I'm giving it 3 stars primarily due to the massive upcharge for non-dairy milk. Charging up to $2 extra for almond milk is excessive. My bill for three coffees jumped from $18 to $23 just because of the milk choice. It's disappointing when businesses penalize customers for making dietary choices. Otherwise, the coffee was good, but this pricing policy needs reconsideration. read more
