I had been putting it off for almost a year but knew that the longer I delayed, the more problems might crop up. I called Endoconic Specialty Group in Gresham on Tuesday. They schedule me for a consultation the next day. After going over the process and answering all of my questions, I was able to schedule the procedure for the same day as the office had a cancellation for later in the afternoon Everyone in the office was courteous and efficient. X-rays were taken to make sure everyone knew what was ahead and I was perfectly numbed by Dr. Vaughan. (I've never had such a totally painless experience.) A protective dam was installed to help with keeping it all clean and I was offered an option when I initally tensed up at the process. (I have a pretty strong gag reflex but the dental assistant worked gently and slowly, making sure I was comfortable with the device as she installed it.) The process took about an hour. I used my earbuds and music to distract me while they drilled away. I had mentioned problems that I had endured during previous root canals and it appears that Dr. Vaughan was able to get the job done without a recurrence of these problems. I was given specific post-op instructions on pain management and we discussed when I should call my regular dentist to schedule crown prep and cleaning -- in a couple of weeks. All in all, it was a pleasant experience. I would recommend this office to anyone needing a professional and painless root canal. One day later, I have no pain. Thank you.

This was the day before 4th of July and left a message for Dr. Allen who was on vacation. He called back within an hour and gave me awesome advice on what to do. He spent plenty of time listening and understanding my problem. Dr. Allen also offered to come in on the 4th of July if the problem continued to get worse. I ended the conversation feeling much better, employed his advice and enjoyed the rest of my vacation. BTW, I happened to come across one of Dr. Allen's staff on the 4th of July. Very kind, impressive, and real. When I got back to AZ I handled the problem with my dentist. I've never had Dr. Allen as a dentist, but based on what my family says and my experience this guy is the best. An inspiration to me as a small business owner in health care.

We brought our son in for care, fully explaining ahead of time that he is a child with special needs. Instead of showing any patience, understanding, or willingness to accommodate him, Dr. Sadakah refused to provide services when my son was unable to complete the X-rays. What was most concerning is that he didn't even attempt to examine my son's mouth--there was no effort to build trust, no attempt to adapt to his needs, and no alternative solutions offered. We were simply dismissed and sent away. This is especially frustrating because the clinic presents itself as a place that supports patients who may need extra patience or accommodations for children with disabilities/specials needs. Based on our experience, that was not reflected at all in how our child was treated. Families with special needs children already face significant barriers when accessing healthcare. We came in hoping for compassion and understanding, and instead left feeling dismissed. I would strongly caution other families of special needs children before coming here. This was not a supportive or accommodating environment, and it was a very discouraging experience for our family.
