I was introduced to As You Wish by my work as a therapy treatment for one of our clients. And I absolutely love it! It is so much fun. First thing to remember, wash your hands in the corner sink. This is a byproduct of COVID for everyone's safety. After you are washed up, pick your ceramic piece and get to painting. There are plenty of different ceramic pieces to choose from such as mugs, figurines, plates, coasters, or large tiles. Then, there are several colors to choose from to make your perfect piece. After you are done, As You Wish will fire up your piece and call you when it is ready. It takes about a week. You pay a painting fee plus the price of the ceramic piece you have chosen to paint. The staff have always been friendly and professional. They are very helpful and answer all of your questions. As You Wish is located at the mall, so there is plenty of parking. They are open later on the weekend. You can call and reserve a time to paint. We have already been twice and I can't wait to go back.

The to go bag they made for us :)

Incredible staff. My son and I attended (attempted to) one of their classes for homeschoolers and my son struggles with anxiety- we decided to go for it anyways and give it a try. My son ended up wanting to leave and they were gracious enough to pack EVERYTHING we needed up in a bag for us to finish at home; paints, instructions, and the mug- they even offered paint brushes! Couldn't have asked for a better first time experience. They made my son feel validated and even shared some of their own anxieties and insecurities which made him feel less alone. Parenting is hard, and I'd like to say they made it a lot easier that day.

The new name at the same location as Paint a Dream.

This is the old Paint A Dream location under new ownership. Still has the same premise: paint pottery and have it fired to make a beautiful one of a kind item. Prices are comparable to other paint your own pottery places. $7.50 to paint plus the price of the pottery. Pottery items range from small $4 items on up to large platters and bowls in the $36 + range. Time is unlimited to paint so if you need to take your time, do so! Employees are helpful and friendly. It will take a few days to fire the item and then you go back to pick up. We love to come here for a relaxing, creative time.

My 2nd plate. Experimenting with technique and plate color mixing.

Such a fun experience for all ages! My partner and I went on a Friday night as couples get a 2 for…read more1 studio fee. I called in a few times to make/change our reservation and each staff member that answered the phone was super kind and willing to accommodate. We were warmly welcomed when we came in and got a detailed run through of how painting at Color Me Mine works. We underestimated how long our projects would take, but the staff informed us that we could take our items home and come back at a later time to finish the painting, at no extra charge. The pickup process was just as smooth as CMM called about a week later and let me know exactly when my items had to be picked up by. I do think it can get a little pricey, especially if you plan to bring a larger party. Overall, I really enjoyed getting to be creative and will say that even if you're not very artistically talented, you'll still be able to have some fun and walk out with custom piece of pottery!

DONT WAST YOUR TIME. We took a pottery class with Biana at the end of September/early October 2025…read more At first, she seemed kind and personable, and the initial class itself was enjoyable. Unfortunately, the experience after the class was very disappointing due to a lack of professionalism and communication. It took a long time and multiple attempts to reach her to schedule glazing. After we completed glazing, I reached out again on December 17, 2025, to follow up about picking up our pottery. I received no response--no call, no text--until today, January 14, 2026. When she finally responded this morning, she asked whether we had even done our glazing, which was frustrating given the long delay. I attempted to call to arrange picking up my pottery, even in its unfinished state, but was told she was closing her shop and that I would need to reach back later in the evening. When I expressed my concerns about how long this process had taken and the lack of communication, I was met with dismissive comments and was even told that I was being "dramatic." This was especially upsetting, as communication was prompt at the beginning when payment was required. Due to the ongoing delays and poor communication, I no longer wish to retrieve my pottery. I am writing this review to share my experience so others are aware before booking. I also noticed another review describing similar issues, and I wish I had read it beforehand. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this studio. Sign up with Clay and Play instead!

We booked a private pottery session for our group of 11 on 9/28 and paid $75 per person. At the end…read moreof our initial pottery session, we were simply told to return after four weeks to do our glazing. There was no mention of any limit on group size or that she wouldn't be able to accommodate us again as a group. I reached out on 10/25 to schedule glazing and never received a reply. She finally responded almost a month later -- only to tell us we now need to come back in groups of just 1-4 people. This change was never communicated upfront and is completely different from the private group experience we originally booked. What's especially frustrating is that she was extremely quick to book us and take payment up front, but now that she already has the money, she won't even respond -- not to me, and not to the rest of my group who reached out separately. We're not asking for a refund; we already completed our session on 9/28. We just expected timely communication and the ability to finish our pieces the same way we started: together. The lack of communication, long delays, and sudden change in expectations made this experience disappointing and inconvenient. I hope the business becomes more transparent and responsive for future customers.
