The car wash door went down on my brand new Lexus RC 350 wrecking the front hood of my car at the Holiday gas station. I asked to get it fixed was told that I had to go to their shop Collison Corner, in Maple Plaine. The disaster began when I took it to their repair shop were they clearly were not qualified, and painted it, stripped it and repainted it again. They gave me the car back 3 times being multiple colors. It took 6 weeks for them to give me a garbage paint job. It literally opened and cracked all over the side panels, hood, door panels. I spent months trying to work with John O'Sullivan, who owns the gas station, who just stopped answering, his friend Curt the owner of Collison would not take my calls, after promising to fix it for months. Curts front desk lady told me stop calling he is not going to bother calling you back nor will he fix it.I have pictures taken before, during and after from the Lexus dealership. I also have emails and photos of all the errors Collison Corners made. It is over $8,000 to repair at the dealership that actually knows what they are doing, and neither business will fix my car. They will not reply or answer calls and have left my car a disaster. I live in the neighborhood will go anywhere but these Holidays or Collison Corner. SKIP read more

If I had another accident, would I use them again...I don't know. Probably not without some serious time commitments. I had an accident and chose Collision Corner. After a couple weeks, I started regularly checking in. I was told couple more days or next week repeatedly. After a month without a car (thank goodness I could work from home), they said they felt bad for getting so behind and gave me a car...but it still was a couple more weeks before I got my car back. My family used Collision corner a few times and each time they were pretty friendly but took longer than anticipated to complete the job with subpar work. We had them fix a Toyota Highlander after a deer collision and the work was just alright, they neglected to reinstall a fair amount of fasteners and most of the body work they touched started to rust the very next winter - in fact the only rust on the body is on the parts they "fixed", some parts damaged in the collision but not replaced are rust-free so I think the rust was a consequence of short cuts taken during the work. Their tow trucks drivers drive poorly too. I know they have a measure of self-interest in car collisions but it's rather transparent and not appreciated. Their quotes are usually well-padded though. I once got rear ended and the perpetrator said they'd just cut me a check for the bumper if I got an estimate, and our insurance companies would be none the wiser. The collision corner estimate was 15% higher than a few other shops so that was uniquely advantageous. read more

Kurt and Brian have gone above and beyond every single time to provide honest, fast, afforable and efficient customer service. As a single woman I find myself getting ripped off at most mechanics. Not this place. They are always honest with me on what repairs I need or don't need. They are always priced competitively AND I always get a loner car. They are exceptionally busy so if you expect to talk on the phone twice a day like the other reviewers who rated this place seemed to need to, you will be disappointed. However, I'd rather have them working on my car then talking to me. Also---side benefit...two actually. Every time they fix my car they wash it. Second--I broke down in the Black Hills this summer and they called me on a Sunday morning giving me advice since I had to take it to the dealer who tried to give me the single female tourist discount. Kurt and Brian's advice probably saved me a $1000. Keep up the great work. read more

I am so impressed with collision corner. We dropped the boat and trailer off on a Sunday afternoon and the repair was done well, for a fair price, by Wednesday. I would highly recommend this repair shop to anyone. They do it all, not just body work. read more

the owner and manager are nice, but it seems like they take on way too much for their business. They are really reasonable with working a deal with you, but they are horrible at calling people back, dont get the work done on time either. The quality is alright, could be better. I have a 2002 Mercedes that had developed rust along wheel wells and I brought it to Collision Corner to be repaired and painted. We walked around the car talking about what could be done, how it would be repaired, and I decided what I wanted. I received an estimate and a time frame for the work. The work was done on time and the car is beautiful! The owner of the business, Kurt, actually was the person who explained to me the options and when I went to pickup the car he walked around the car with me to make sure I was satisfied. I cannot speak to their body work or repairs, but I definitely do not recommend purchasing a vehicle from them due to dishonesty and lack of customer service. I must say that Deb in the front office was professional and as helpful as possible. She was kind of thrown under the bus. However when I purchased my vehicle I was told by Tucker, the sales person, that my soon to be expired plates and tabs would be personally picked up by him at the DMV and mailed ASAP. He explained that the $65 Dealer Transfer Fee was to cover his time and gas for doing this. He repeatedly ignored my calls and texts inquiring anout when my plates would arrive. When my plates expired and the new ones hadn't shown up, I called the front office and they knew nothing about the situation. I live an hour away from the dealership, had to drive there that day to get my plates. The owner Kurt explained that he'd speak with his financial office worker about the situation and I should call her the next day. When I did, she again knew nothing about it and he hadn't said a word to her. The car is fine, but the whole experience was a joke read more
