Finally a Matcha place that didn't disappoint Matcha Cafe…read moreMaiko is known for its authentic Uji Matcha . Their Products are imported directly from (Harima Garden) in Uji, Kyoto, a family-owned tea estate operating since 1858. I am obsessed at this place I first tried it in Vegas and it was soo good! This one I located in Rowland Heights and they have soo many options to choose from shaved ice, latte, parfait, ice cream and all my favorite flavors are here matcha,Ube, hojicha and more! The quality is 10/10 not too sweet, very creamy and soo delicious. Ambiance is casual mostly to go, but there's plenty of seating outside in a cute little plaza. The service is amazing, the server greeted me nicely recommended me the best one! She even showed me that their matcha is authentic and from Japan! Everything comes out fast and with the weather it melts quick so gotta eat it quick as well! I will definitely comeback here and try more of their items! This is now my fave matcha place What I got: Matcha & UBE Float Matcha Shaved Ice

The banana flavor blended perfectly with it, adding just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the matcha. One of my favorite parts was the presentation. The cookies on top were an amazing garnish and added a nice texture that made the drink feel a little more special. On top of that, the service was super friendly, which made the visit even better. Loved the ambiance as well, there was very cute decor and wall art and place was very clean! Overall, it was a really enjoyable treat, and I'd definitely go back for it again.

Came across this gem through a Yelp buddy's review. Doug, if you see this, thank you, haha!…read more I've been hitting up Brea once a month for an errand, and I always scout for a coffee spot afterward. Somehow, this spot never came up even though they have coffee. I got the Biscoff Crunch Matcha and felt like coffee too, so I ordered the coconut coffee. The Biscoff matcha was a new flavor combo for me, and I liked it so much I finished the whole thing on my drive home. The coconut coffee was solid too (only took a few sips) but I just couldn't get enough of the match. Just a note... Yelp showed it closing soon (11:00 AM) when I arrived, 8 minutes before 11, but the hours on the door said otherwise. The girl was already scrubbing the counters in the back when I walked in. Glad I checked and went in anyway!

Yikes. I was in the…read morearea shopping and getting errands done. I had a 25 minute ride back home so I decided to get something refreshing from here first. It was a Saturday evening about an hour before they closed. When I walked in there was a couple in front of me and it appeared they had issues ordering from the kiosk. The one worker who was there that night came out with the most unfriendly face and vibe. Even though she wasn't serving me yet she even made me feel uncomfortable and that's hard to do. Lmao. After we all ordered our drinks, we could not help but talk about how grumpy she looked. I gave the benefit of the doubt knowing it sucks to work alone on a Saturday or maybe she's tired but the strangers i was talking with said everytime they come here she's always unfriendly. The one star reviews on here confirm that. I kid you not I was looking for the manager to share this concern with because it was that bad. There was no one else in sight. I didn't feel like confronting anyone that night, but if they read their yelp reviews please consider providing customer service training to your employees. With so many boba shops opened now in brea including the 3-4 spots in brea mall alone, good drinks and good service will keep your business alive. 2 stars for my pineapple Green tea. It was decent but the ice level sucked. Very little ice was given and the ice they used melted super fast.

There's so much hype around HEYTEA, but now I can see why! I've been wanting to try this popular…read moretea spot, but there's usually a pretty long line. Luckily, the line at this location wasn't too bad. They have an online order system, so even though there was no one in line at the ordering kiosk, lots of orders are coming in. I really enjoyed their Mulberry Boom which has a strong mulberry flavor and even pieces of mulberry fruit inside! Just be careful not to spill, since the color of the mulberry is pretty concentrated and will most likely stain your clothes! The Cloud Coconut Blue is a really pretty layered drink! They use blue spirulina for that vibrant blue color. There's also matcha blended with their original cheese cloud, along with coconut water, coconut milk, and coconut milk jelly. Definitely for coconut lovers! Mango Grapefruit Boom is one of their recommended. It's refreshing, slightly milky, and has a bit of bitterness from the grapefruit. I haven't had a drink like this before, so if was definitely unique! The Grape Boom is a pretty purple color, and you can really taste the grape flavor! Very refreshing. Parking in the lot out front or in the underground parking structure. You can to take the stairs or elevator to get to the second floor where the shop is located. A few seats inside and some tables and chairs outside on their patio as well.

The matcha cream added 4 points to the score because it was pretty good, but that was the only good thing about the drink. After mixing the matcha foam in, there was no matcha flavor in the drink. The boba is okay, nothing special to mention though. Cloud Matcha Latter (6/10): There was a nice matcha flavor, but not strong enough. The matcha flavor was not very unique or did not taste very high quality. The original cheese cloud on top was light and tangy, which tasted decent. Coconut Mango Boom (4/10): The drink tasted super watered down with barely any coconut flavor present. The mango was decent, but once the drink was mixed, the mango flavor diminished. I wish the mango flavor was a little stronger. Overall Thoughts: These drinks are definitely not worth how much I paid for it. I wish I got the supreme matcha latte instead of the cloud coconut blue. The drinks were pretty disappointing, and there are many other boba shops with better drinks at fairer price points. There might be a small line to order. The wait time took pretty long. The boba shop itself is very white, lit up, and simple. There are very few seats in the shop, but there are more tables and chairs outside. I expected a lot more from these drinks because they looked so pretty, yummy, and expensive, but it unfortunately did not taste as good as it looks.

The server was very kind and helpful, he was communicative and attentive. And the food! The food was great! It tasted good, AND seemed healthy and nutritious. Also, I appreciated their variety of options. I have a dairy allergy, and am often quite limited in what I can comfortably/safely eat, especially going out for breakfast. But here, they had multiple alternative dairy options! I even was able to get an oat milk latte! I will definitely be back. Love this place and am so glad they opened up this location.

We got the coffee flight: Pistachio, Chocolate, & Horchata. Food was good but it lacked seasoning - i definitely had to add quite a bit of salt and hot sauce to enjoy it. I would probably go somewhere else if I wanted eggs Benedict. We ordered the Birria eggs Benedict and the chilaquiles. It was good but nothing exciting, I would order something else next time or go to a different breakfast spot. But overall, I left happy but not full.
