The previous, breakfast place has closed, and the NEW Colette is a Cantonese Fusion restaurant with an excellent chef and top-notch ingredients. Well worth a try under the new management!

HI Karla, unfortnately we do not off the bottomless mimosas anymore. You can get a mimosa by the glass($8), or by the bottle($20). Hope this helps.

Unfortunately no we do not. We do offer a bottle of Champagne with a carafe of fresh squeezed orange juice for $20!

I'm sorry, but we do not offer happy hour as of yet. But look out for it in the near future as we plan to extend hours into the evening!

Yes, we do offer bottomless mimosas every day until 3pm. It is $15 per person with any meal.

I'm not sure, but I doubt it. But have the Fried Chicken, you won't be disappointed.

They have a QR code to scan the menu and send your order to the kitchen. Unfortunately, they forgot our order of shumai. We had already finished eating before it even came. The waitress was kind but apparently had to bring the receipt back because the staff was claiming we already received it.

I came here recently with a few friends and really loved the cozy feel. It's such a diamond in the rough! I really loved the ambiance! The prices were more than reasonable and the portions were quite generous. Normally, each food item should be just enough to fill one person. However, the portions were so delicious and generous, we all had extras to bring home. Where else can you get a burrito that you can only eat half of? I especially liked the fact that you order at the counter first. It makes things much more efficient. Even though it was ordering at the counter first, there was still plenty of service. The servers still brought over the drinks initially, and kept coming by to refill water and coffee. I also noticed how one guy kept going to all the tables bringing empty cups and asking patrons if they wanted water. I was lucky enough to meet the owner and we chatted for a few minutes. Apparently, it's supposed to be a neighborhood cafe that just opened up within the last half year. Having been involved in the restaurant industry for quite a while, I can feel his pain. It's not easy starting up a brand new restaurant. Therefore, all these past reviewers with all their scathing criticism is really uncalled for. I can understand if it's constructive criticism, but just to write a review just to nitpick, is being way too sensitive, in my opinion. Try opening up a restaurant yourself, and you'll feel this owner's and my pain. :o) As the owner admitted, this restaurant is still a work in progress. I truly hope he succeeds as we're lacking this type of restaurant in the Hastings Ranch neighborhood. There's definitely room for improvement, but so far I love what I see and have experienced. I would definitely love to bring my group of friends back here, just for the bottomless mimosas and the churro french toast! Everything, everywhere, all at once - Colette. We discovered this place because of whispers that the head chef had previously worked at the Peninsula Hong Kong. Naturally, we thought, "Such an esteemed association, this place must be good!" Admittedly, they deserve some credit for opening a venture like this in the foothills area - two stars for the attempt. The restaurant is tucked away in a somewhat rundown plaza above the foothill. As you enter, you're greeted by a cluttered bar that leaves you guessing who the host or hostess might be. Your strategy here is to make eye contact with a staff member and mention your party size - it has a Hong Kong-style vibe in that sense. The food is a mixed affair. Some dishes, like the shrimp har gow and braised tofu, were genuinely enjoyable. However, the truffle fried rice came with a hefty price tag, though it wasn't authentic truffle - its as if they just used an excessive amount of truffle salt. The sweet and sour pork even had strawberries in it, and they charged $3 per cup for ordinary tea. As for the service, it was substandard even for a Cantonese-style establishment. We had one attentive waiter who was great, but getting anyone else to notice us was a real challenge. Dishes arrived in batches, likely due to the chef's attempt at efficiency. We noticed that the fried rice and crispy chicken were served simultaneously for all tables. We spent about $300 for our group of six and left feeling hungry and puzzled. For a restaurant that charges a premium, I'd much rather drive down to San Gabriel for similar Chinese cuisine. However, despite the shortcomings, the atmosphere was lively and energetic, which did provide a memorable experience for our group. I wasn't going to leave a bad review even though we didn't like the food (food had no flavor at all, we had several entrees) and the service was pretty bad (the waiter wouldn't move from behind the counter and would make us speak loud instead of approaching the table, also they try to upsell you the whole menu so beware) but the actual reason of my review is that I got charged tip to my credit card even though I didn't authorized it, we were 3 and that's counting my baby so the rule for big groups doesn't apply and the service was completely awful so there was no reason to tip The food has a great presentation and looks yummy but that's it (that's the only reason the review is not a 1 star) To make it a complete review the ambiance of the place is 8/10 but this reminded me of another issue we had, we were sit in front of the main entrance, they had the front door wide open and there was a lot wind so I asked the waiter if he could close the door to which he seemed mad about, he said yea I'll close it but didn't move so I decided to close it myself I talked to the manager last Thursday to let him know about the extra charge, we were there on Wednesday, at first he said he couldn't make a refund, then I told him I would call the bank directly and tell them what's going on (which is fraud) and only after that he offered to call whoever payment processing company they have and amend it, it's Monday now and still haven't seen an update on the card read more

The host who we found out later on during our visit is the new assistant manager- today being actually her first day, was quite friendly and helpful, had knowledge enough to make a few suggestions about the menu.. very quite welcoming.. Our server, was ok. A little down under especially to keep up with the managers welcoming attitude and mannerism towards us, he lacked simple skills. Although we over heard the manager addressing this issues with him, about politeness and inclusivity when addressing customers, like simple things . Hi how are you? How is your day going? May i offer you something to drink.: Was refreshing to hear someone address this issues, as we had been here a few times and well even though the servers are friendly. They can be a little more inclusive. The food was great. Although, the server needs a bit more training. He over charged us, the bill he ran our card, wasn't even ours. He had no idea how to void or refund and charge us what our total was. So he offered to pay cash. Instead of apologizing and explaining. He just took the money and said . You are ok. I've been wanting to come back ever since my first visit during Christmas 2023, and I'm happy to say the food is just as memorable as I remembered. What makes this restaurant special is that it offers a creative take on Cantonese cuisine while still respecting traditional flavors. Food Still Great, But Service Needs Serious Attention We returned to this restaurant on Easter, hoping for another great experience, especially since the food has always been a strong point. Unfortunately, the service fell short this time. Service is quite inconsistent. You have to ask for almost everything -- napkins, condiments, service water even basic things like serving utensils. The first time we visited, we were thoughtfully given individual bowls for our rice. This time, despite ordering both rice and noodles meant for sharing, no bowls were provided. Even the serving spoons had to be requested separately, which should really come standard with any shared dish. As someone with a background in the service industry, it's clear there's a lack of attention to these small but important details. It gives the impression that service is more of an afterthought than part of the overall dining experience. To top it off, the toilet was filthy -- something no restaurant should overlook. The food remains the saving grace here, and it's what brought us back. Awesome experience on the first week of opening!!! This place is going to finally rock its great location. The epic menu spans both fresh/wholesome to rich with some Latin flair...could we call this a killer Basque Bistro??? Joy, as always, is a seasoned operator intimate with greatness in hospitality. Ashley gave a fun and passionate tour of the menu - selling even my 8 year old on their churro-style rendition of french toast! The artisan soda fountain is HIP (can I still say that - LOL) and the clincher is any chef who can do great things with pork...I had the Classic Pork Torta which actually presented with a BBQ/pulled look about it, but at first bite the meat was crispier and leaner with a perfect mustardy/savory finish instead of sweet sauce dominating the palate and your nice white shirt. However, the Lotus Leaf Wrapped Sticky Rice felt gimmicky, using torched cheese to justify its $7 price tag for a single wrap. The Crispy Stuffed Chicken was the highlight we were eagerly anticipating, but it turned out to be the most underwhelming dish. Our expectations included both chicken and shrimp paste layers, but disappointingly, it only contained shrimp and chicken skin. I've had this dish at other establishments, which are becoming rare, and there's consistently a layer of chicken. Could they be cutting corners by using inexpensive chicken skin for this dish? Given the plethora of options available for exceptional Cantonese cuisine, I have no intentions of returning to this place. read more

We've been going to this place since it opened, but we are going to have to take a long break. It's too bad because we used to really love this place. The food here has steadily gone down hill. Today was confirmation that we are going to need to find a new brunch place. Our kids pancakes were comically huge and so dense. They were not tasty. My son's scrambled eggs were soggy and mushy. This isn't what it used to look like. My fried chicken in the eggs benedict tasted like a cheap chicken tender and was bone dry. The potatoes on the side were so over smothered in garlic that they stunk. The chilaquiles was just a giant platter of chips, drenched in red sauce, with a sad dry chicken breast carelessly placed on top. I really hope this place recovers. The service here is always great. The outdoor patio is a great option on a nice day. Everyone is really friendly. I love the choices of beers on tap. I've enjoyed the avocado toast and most of their sandwiches. They're all delicious. The kids breakfast is big enough to be shared between little ones. My kids love it when they have cartoons projected on the big screen inside. My one complaint is their biscuits. I love the fried chicken benedict, but the biscuit is unforgivable. The dish is otherwise great. I've watched other people take bites from the biscuits and give funny looks and leave it on their plates. It's like a giant dry crumbly hockey puck.
