Pretzelmaker is so underrated…read more I've had Auntie Anne's and Wetzel's Pretzels but nothing compares to Pretzelmaker. What stands out is that Pretzelmaker soft pretzels are fluffier and lighter, and have a better overall taste IMO. They are what I describe as "pillowy goodness" and they always come out piping hot! Pretzelmaker is located in the lower-level of the Moreno Valley Mall next to Macy's. Pro-Tip: Park in the lot between the Macy's and JC Penney stores. There's an entrance that leads you down a corridor closest to Pretzelmaker. Because the pretzels are made fresh to order, there is a bit of a wait time. But the wait is always worth it. My favorite items to get are: * Mozzarella Stuffed Pretzel Bites with Pepperoni (buttered, Unsalted) * Pretzel Bites The lady (owner, maybe?) who's been making the pretzels does a fantastic job kneading the dough and making these delightful bites! And -- shhh --- they are the perfect treat to take inside Harkins movie theater (in your purse, of course). Much more satisfying than popcorn! Pretzelmaker, you are simply the best and completely irresistible!

Although I was the only one in line and ordering, the wait time was a little long (8ish minutes) but it was well worth it as it completely blew my expectations out of the water. It was fluffy and the cheese was delicious which when you combined it with the marinara sauce made a mouthwatering combination. When compared to Auntie Anne's or Wretzels Pretzels, it is superior in every aspect and its unfortunate that Pretzelmaker is located in Moreno Valley Mall as if it were located in a bigger location (like Ontario Mills or Galleria), it would be much busier and bring it a lot more attention then it's getting currently.

Would you expect a small market to pack a punch with good beer and German food? No? Well, try…read moreGeorge's Market and find out The Reuben sandwich with warm german potato salad was a banger. Meat was juicy, sauce is plentiful, and it all conglomerates into a messy sandwich of deliciousness. Sausages are the other star here. The Spicy Hungarian sausage with mustard was absolutely a banger as well. It's a nice light kick and savory flavor with each bite. We finished off with a Cherry strudel which was not too sweet but still had the nice sugary finish of a dessert. I feel like I'm rambling but long story short, great food, great beer, great time. Have a slice of European cuisine out in Calimesa.

The Reuben and potato salad combo was especially hearty and satisfying, with rich, savory flavors that felt very true to a classic deli experience. The Hungarian sausage had a great depth of flavor, savory and well-seasoned without tipping into being overly salty. The cherry strudel was a standout to end the meal, filled generously with cherries and syrup, wrapped in a flaky pastry that balanced sweetness and texture really well. The beer tied everything together nicely, cold and refreshing, and exactly what you'd want with this kind of meal. I still prefer Busy Bees in San Pedro, but this was a nice alternative within the IE area. Price: George's Market falls into a casual, reasonable deli pricing tier. Sandwiches like the Reuben and similar deli items are generally in the mid‑teens range, while sausage plates and hot meals can push closer to around $15-20 depending on what you get. Beer and imported items vary, but overall you can expect to spend about $15-25 per person for a solid, filling meal. Given the quality, portion sizes, and specialty nature of the food, the pricing feels fair. Ambiance: The space is part cozy German market, part deli counter, with a warm, wood-heavy interior that feels inviting and a bit nostalgic. There's both indoor seating and an outdoor area, giving flexibility depending on the weather or how busy it is. Beyond the dining area, the market itself sells a wide range of German groceries and specialty products, which adds to the charm and makes it feel like more of an experience than just a quick meal. Service: Service was good and impressively efficient given how busy it gets. There was a noticeable line when we went (especially on a weekend lunch time), but things moved steadily and the staff kept everything organized without feeling rushed or chaotic. Friendly and straightforward overall. Parking: Parking is one of the easier parts of the visit. It's located in a plaza with a large shared lot, so there's plenty of space and no real hassle finding a spot, even during peak hours.

They have a solid selection of house brewed beers, so it's fun trying a few different ones depending on what you like. The beer tasted fresh and well made. The food was also really good and went well with the drinks. The menu has a good variety of options and everything we ordered came out hot and flavorful. The atmosphere is relaxed and it's a nice place to hang out with friends for a meal or just grab a drink. The staff were friendly and the service was quick even though the place was a little busy. Overall it's a great brewery restaurant and definitely somewhere I'd come back to again.

Our group of 12 adults and 8 kids came to the restaurant for a team dinner on a Saturday evening…read more We emailed and made reservations well in advance. The restaurant was surprisingly empty. The first five minutes of the dinner were pleasant with instructions to order via QR code (no problem). However the issues with service were apparent immediately. Orders were placed for refreshments, appetizers, waters, etc. Within 20 mins food began to be delivered with no names/descriptions of the beverage or plate being delivered. Our group was left navigating who ordered what and determine what beer was what and finding the correct owner. Dinner plates delivered no place settings at the table, no condiments (ketchup) and no drinks for more than half of the table. That lefts us going to the bar to retrieve our own cutlery.... Going to the bar to request our waters and our sodas... even after three attempts to ask for our drinks (water, lemonade, soda) the drinks weren't brought out. Many members of our party had their dinner with NO refreshments. We actually ended up serving ourselves our drinks from a dispenser located outside... we also ended up refilling our own drinks Our water was finally brought out at the end of dinner.. It was the worst service I have EVER had. What a shame.
