Pretzelmaker is so underrated. I've had Auntie Anne's and Wetzel's Pretzels but nothing compares to Pretzelmaker. What stands out is that Pretzelmaker soft pretzels are fluffier and lighter, and have a better overall taste IMO. They are what I describe as "pillowy goodness" and they always come out piping hot! Pretzelmaker is located in the lower-level of the Moreno Valley Mall next to Macy's. Pro-Tip: Park in the lot between the Macy's and JC Penney stores. There's an entrance that leads you down a corridor closest to Pretzelmaker. Because the pretzels are made fresh to order, there is a bit of a wait time. But the wait is always worth it. My favorite items to get are: * Mozzarella Stuffed Pretzel Bites with Pepperoni (buttered, Unsalted) * Pretzel Bites The lady (owner, maybe?) who's been making the pretzels does a fantastic job kneading the dough and making these delightful bites! And -- shhh --- they are the perfect treat to take inside Harkins movie theater (in your purse, of course). Much more satisfying than popcorn! I came to Moreno Valley Mall the other day and decided to buy the mozzarella pizza bites on a whim which ended up being the best decision i've ever made. Although I was the only one in line and ordering, the wait time was a little long (8ish minutes) but it was well worth it as it completely blew my expectations out of the water. It was fluffy and the cheese was delicious which when you combined it with the marinara sauce made a mouthwatering combination. When compared to Auntie Anne's or Wretzels Pretzels, it is superior in every aspect and its unfortunate that Pretzelmaker is located in Moreno Valley Mall as if it were located in a bigger location (like Ontario Mills or Galleria), it would be much busier and bring it a lot more attention then it's getting currently. read more

I love their hot Cheeto coded pretzels, the owners are nice and it's the perfect place to grab a quick snack.

I had these while I was in Georgia and enjoyed them so much. I had no idea that they were right here in my mall! They are so delicious! Warm, soft, tender, yeasty sweet and that is without any toppings! The service was polite and the place is cute! Right across from the movie theater. You have to try them! I happened to stop by while going to the movies, and I loved the warm, freshly baked feel of the place. It was so nice, and I think this spot will become my regular hangout. This time, I tried the cheese and sausage pretzel, but the pizza pretzel also looked really good. Next time, I'll try the pizza pretzel. After 10 years of coming here, I now live out of state and decided to stop by while in town. Glad I did. Same delicious pizza pretzel garlic, butter, talking! They said the bar so high, because I have yet to find a pretzel maker place that makes him as great as this place! Not sure why reviews suck because they're really good. read more

If you want to have the best cheese to eat with a pretzel, this is the spot. Legit I moved to California from Washington and I found that a lot of the people that live here like the wetzel pretzel artificial tasting crap cheese they serve at every mall. Sad that I had to drive like 80 miles to have a decent pretzel with great cheese since all I have in San Diego is wetzel pretzel. Please, if the owner is reading this, put a pretzel maker in San Diego! We need a good pretzel spot and Wetzel Pretzel has the worst cheese and is not cutting it. I had it first time today I ordered 2 pretzels and a drink one glamor was butter and the other garlic. The garlic was terrible I couldn't even eat it they use cooking garlic powder for the garlic flavor it was just terrible. The butter flavor was ok. I rarely endulge in this type of product, however, I needed a quick bite to hold me over so, as I was leaving the mall, I got some mini-pretzels. I said no to anything on them. As I started walking away and had one, I decided that I should have gotten something on them and went back for some cinnamon and sugar. She said it would be 75 cents to add it. I got the small order of pretzel bites, which is served in a paper cup. This amount of sugar they would use is probably 1 tsp and 1/4 tsp of cinnamon. Unless I am missing something, I don't see how they can they charge 75 cents for that. The small order was already $3.69 or something close to that. Secondly, I noted my experience on their FB page.... and it was ignored. No one addressed it. I have to say that their product tasted good... I have no problem with that. But their prices seem high and their customer service....well, there isn't any. read more

I've definitely been a fan of this place for a while. The pizza pretzels are the best and for a great/small price too! It's worth every unhealthy bite. Even after I had eaten here for years, I didn't start really paying attention to the name until I went to other small pretzel places in other malls with less than satisfying pizza pretzels. Occasionally, the staff does seem to mix the orders/numbers around, which makes your wait time way longer than it should be, but otherwise, I love this small corner place in the Moreno Valley Mall filled with awesomely heart-threatening pizza pretzels! read more

This place is REALLY great!!!! We stopped here after finishing a movie and it was almost time for them to close but they still helped us which was nice. The pretzels by far are some of the best pretzels I've ever had. The pizza mozzarella bites were fantastic super cheesy and super soft and big too totally worth the money. On top of the super tasty pretzels the customer service was amazing. The ladies making the food were super sweet and they even gave us a free pretzel for waiting for them to freshly make the pizza bites for us even though I thought the wait wasn't that long. Overall a super great place and totally worth it!! read more

My honest opinion about this place. They make the best pretzels. This place here really doesn't have great customer service. They really need to use gloves and not reuse the same gloves after they use the register.. use CLOROX wiped to clean the counter. The owners are definitely amazing. Meehan is the reason I come here. This place has one discussing employee! The girl with the birthmark on her right elbow was adjusting her nasty bra at the counter. Without washing her hands or putting on gloves she grabbed cups, putting fingers in the food and beverage cups. I told her and the cashier but they just laughed, and did nothing not even apologize. They have the best pretzels in town! the employees are amazing for the most part! The new manger isnt the best i miss the old. The. New mexican lady can be mean and the older mexican lady that cooks can be rude at times. owner is really nice. Customers can be really rude. To some customers it seems okay to treat the employees badly just because. Yes everything is alittle over priced but how is that the employees fualt? They are just doing their job. Please if you come here remeber that the employees are humans too and treat them with respect they're just doing their job.
