Worst dining/service experience. A server there name Nick took over our table to cover breaks and ultimately became our server the rest of the evening. When he took over he went down the list of items we had ordered, which for a party of 3 adults was 3 beers total and avocado egg-rolls, then when the second round of drinks was ordered he asked who was driving home. I was drinking water only and quickly told him that I was driving. He served the table and some food was also ordered. Two more adults joined our table at that point and they ordered drinks and food. When we asked for that order he mentioned that the cameras were watching us and what we order. A while goes by and we went to order one last round of only 2 drinks and he made a face at us and said ok he was going to place our order. My husband got up to use the restroom and the serve waited for him outside of the restroom and asked him if we had been drinking before we got there. When my husband returned he told us what happened and we flagged him over and asked where our remaining order was because it's been a while and he remained quiet. My husband then asked if he had a problem serving us and he said yes he could no longer serve us because of the amount of food to drinks was not allowing him to and it's a policy to cover himself as a server and for the company. We spoke to the manager and we reviewed that we understand the ratio for drinks to food and what they use as a guideline for serving/safety, but for a server to follow some one and question them away from their table on top of asking us previously about drinks/driver is wildly inappropriate, demeaning, and just disrespectful on all levels. No one in our party was disruptive, confrontational, rude, loud or sloppy. First timer here and service was good, food was good, ambiance was clean. I got the Santa Fe salad and they are pretty generous with the amount of chicken and avocado. We ordered the large bbq chicken pizza. Serves about four people since they are thick of bread pretty much hardly any cheese or chicken. Prob will not get this pizza again. We just got waters because we came too early for happy hour which is from 3-7 weekdays, so bummed out!!!! Moreno Valley has great service even down to the manager working hard to make sure everybody is taken care . Even though they are very busy with high volume customers service is great. Visited over the weekend. Let's start with the positive. First service was amazing. I wish I got our servers name. He was very attentive. Very nice and served with a smile. Place was packed but we got seated within 25 mins for a party of 7. My issue was how dirty the women's restroom was. No toilet paper in a couple of stalls, paper towels on the floor, sticking out of the trash cans. The floor as you walk through the seating area was very slippery. Literally had to walk slow or else I would have been falling. I get there's a lot of traffic but just really need to be on top of this stuff especially when it's busy. Two stars are for our waiter that did what he could to make our trip ok. Let's get to it. Our orders took quite a long time to come out and when they did all but one meal had cold fries, like they made them waaaaay too early and didn't want to redo it. Then I take a bite of my chicken sandwich, which looked a little dark, but it was just burnt So it was another 15-20 minutes before a new one came out. Long drive home so I stopped for my fav Nutty Brunette and Pot Stickers as a great break. The quality is always there and so was the service here. Found a seat at the bar even though the place was pretty busy. Bar tender was very nice and the restaurants are always nicely designed, clean and comfortable. We meet here all the time (as you can see below) because it's our half way point, but today was literally the worst food we EVER had here... Guess that will teach both of us to try something "new"... The manager comped the steak and the waitress (Sophia D) tried her hardest to accommodate us and also took back the F&C, which I exchanged for a bowl of soup. Came for dinner and took advantage of the Open Table reservation option online. When we arrived, we waited a few minutes as they were clearing out tables, and then was seated. Our server, Natalie, welcomed us and was very nice and asked for our drink order. Those came out promptly. We then placed our order of avocado rolls (not pictured), wedge salad, wings, fettuccine Alfredo, and meatballs with spaghetti. Wait wasn't long and we enjoyed our meals. The pasta dishes were a lot, so we what we didn't finish, we took home for leftovers. For dessert, we ordered the pizookie trio of two gluten chocolate chip and one cookies and crème. It was perfect size and so yummy for our party of three. We enjoyed our visit and will drop by again when in the area (visiting family). This review is long overdue. My husband and I took our 3 kids to BJ's on a Sunday. It was really busy, maybe even short staffed, but our server made our visit amazing. CAMERON was kind to our kids, attentive to our needs & made sure we were happy with our food. Give Cameron a raise !! Every time we'd look up, we'd see him attending others in a calm demeanor. I took my wife out for a lunch since we haven't been out to BJ's in a long time. I ordered the Smashburger with fries. Really delicious. My wife had the all you can eat soup and salad. Her first ground was the veggie salad and clam chowder. Both were really delicious. The second round for her was a bowl of chili with a Mozzarella and tomato salad. The chili was a bit too salty for her taste, but the salad was amazing. She ordered more mozzarella and tomato salad and this time had the tortilla soup. This soup had avocado in it and it was amazing. Her final order was for more of the mozzarella and tomato salad with the broccoli and cheese soup. For dessert, we enjoyed a cookies and cream, Pazooki and the triple chocolate, Pazooki. The food was pretty good, but the service was a little slower than I had hoped for. It took between six and 10 minutes to get a mug of hot water.What had begun as a quick lunch almost made us late for our appointment. But, I get the timing of food since I was a waiter many years ago. I just don't understand why it takes so long to get a cup of hot water. And maybe I'm just getting old, but the stereo system seemed to be a little heavy on the base. I could barely hear the notes, but I heard every thump of the base. I really enjoy going to BJ's Brewhouse. I've been to many locations and it's because I know I'll be getting a solid meal that's hot, tasty, and satisfying. This time we came was for an app and drinks. Our waiter was super nice and even though they were busy he would give us a lil head up as he passed by to let us know he would be with us asap. My husband loves the committed ipa so he got that, I got the strawberry dream soda. I've never had it, it was really good, surprisingly refreshing for a sweet drink. The food options on the menu were as I remembered, I haven't been to a BJ's in at least five years. The restaurant itself was pretty big not very full, and clean. The food itself did not taste as I remembered it, I got the avocado egg rolls and the turkey club sandwich and a Pazooki. The club sandwich was not on regular bread like I remember it, it was on a kind of Texas toast? The flavor and the quality just seemed off. I returned to this resturant to give them a second chance. I can with another group for work to enjoy a birthday celebration during lunch hour. Outside of two issues, we had a considerably better experience. Issue one, my co workers ordered a pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms, and they got it wrong. And the worst part about that is her dish came out last, was wrong, and we had to wait for the right one to come back. Also the bathroom was out of soap right when we arrived. I notified the front staff and they ensured it would be solved. I went back at the end of the meal like 45min later, still no soap. Again we had a lovely meal with great service though. We all ordered off the lunch special. I got the country fried steak and was happily surprised. The meal was so good, so was the pazooki. It's nice when your grown kids want to take you to dinner. My youngest wanted BJ's so BJ's it was. A little crowded but not bad, we had a ten minute wait and then were taken to our seats. When back today 10/22/2026 4 pm ordered the 13.00 personal pizza, took a long time waitress came over to the table and said that they had dropped one of our pizzas and we're remaking both the pizzas that we had ordered. Waited what felt like forever again both pizzas came out. I was served a pizza that looked like it was dropped on the floor. All the toppings were basically missing and it was cold. I had ordered a Dr Pepper. It was watery when I asked for a refill. I was told that they were out of Dr Pepper that explains why it was so watered down. She asked if I wanted to replace it with something else I opted for root beer waited a while. She came back and said they were also out of root beer so I ended up with Water. After a long time away, I went back to BJ's -- a restaurant I've known since 2005 -- and it was a disappointment. The customer service was poor from the start. We came with family and had one of the worst experiences we've had there. The waitress didn't seem to care what we were asking, gave us incorrect information, and made us feel like it didn't matter whether we stayed or left. We ordered their famous chicken wings. They came out dry and overcooked. We also ordered the avocado rolls that used to help make this place well-known. They were dry inside and looked like they had been prepared hours earlier. We asked for a medium barbecue chicken pizza, and were told only had small or large (maybe because the large costs about $10 more). Another employee confirmed they still make a medium size, he went and spoke with somebody else, and had the order changed to a medium. The pizza we received was the worst I've ever seen. I don't know how we even ate a few pieces. To BJ's management and corporate: please look at who is running this location and who you are hiring. This used to be a restaurant people knew and trusted. Yesterday was the last time we will eat at BJ's. We will not be back. I do not recommend this location. If you stop in, take pictures of what you get and compare them with the photos on the menu. read more

Horrible service! I'm extremely disappointed with the service we received at BJ's Restaurant. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. From the moment we arrived, the service was poor and the staff seemed inattentive and unhelpful. We had to wait far too long, and our concerns were not handled with the level of professionalism or courtesy I would expect from a restaurant of this size. What made the experience especially frustrating was that we were paying customers who simply expected to be treated respectfully and receive reasonable service. Instead, we left feeling ignored and dissatisfied. I understand that restaurants can get busy, and I'm usually very understanding when there are delays. However, the way this situation was handled was unacceptable. Good customer service means communicating with customers, acknowledging concerns, and making an effort to resolve problems. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would hesitate to return to BJ's or recommend this location to others. Update ! The company emailed me and gave a $50 gift card to try again. Kudos to BJ's for this!! I ordered online to curbside pick up. I was there at 3:42 pm, my pick up time was 3:45. My spouse went in to the take out door at around 3:55. He walked out with our order at 4:10. Got home, not what I ordered. They gave us inedible chicken wings when I ordered boneless flavored wings. I have dined at this location numerous times. My most recent visit was the most interesting service I have witnessed. Before dining, the waitlist via app is normally utilized. For this occasion, the app was unable to update in time, so a call to the automated system was made. Upon checking in, we were informed most automated phone reservations are dropped and encouraged to speak with someone directly in the future. Hence, our wait was not the zero to a couple of minutes as usual. Our sleek corner booth had a good view of one or two of the tv screens, and it was clean and dry upon being seated. As always, our food was delicious. I should mention, we had a size misunderstanding with our pizza order, and our 2nd order of wings was undercooked. The latter was graciously remediated. Also, a slightly hasteful busser caused a steak knife to directly fall between the legs of someone in our party. Surely an accident, but less of an apology was made. A lovely touch for our young patrons, the two in our party who received the children's menu, were each gratuitously served Goldfish crackers and mixed fruit while awaiting their ordered meals. Then when food came; I ordered the jumbo spaghetti and meatballs, there was a piece of plastic in the food. GET THE CARAMEL PAZOOKIE! Honestly, my dessert at BJ's was one of the highlights of my day. It was a hot cinnamon roll in a cookie pan topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle! It's ooey-gooey goodness that will satiate a cinnamon roll lover's fantasies. FOOD: As for dinner, I ordered a "personal" pizza. According to my waiter it's perfect for one person. Unfortunately, it was way too small and was literally a mini pizza similar to the kid's menu version. I would order a size up if you're truly hungry.
