a pizza and a drink

Excellent customer service! I've been coming here for years and the employees and owner are extremely friendly and hospitable. Pretzels made in store, from scratch, always on point. And they're always baking, so you never have to wait long for a fresh pretzel. Perfection! Stopping here is a must on my break.

Jalapeño pretzels are made to order. Takes about 7-10 mins

Good pretzels, I've tried mostly all of them, but my favorite is the made to order jalapeño pretzel. It takes about 7-10 mins to make, which is fine, because at least I know it hasn't been sitting. The cinnamon sugar is good as well, but is very messy.

Love the pepperoni jalapeño pretzel. Not a big fan of strawberry slushy. Also try the hotdog pretzel with jalapeño. It's the bomb.

“50 from Costco is ok especially if you are hungry, the cinnamon sugar pretzel here is not as doughy and much lighter than the churro at Costco.”

Pretzelmaker is so underrated…read more I've had Auntie Anne's and Wetzel's Pretzels but nothing compares to Pretzelmaker. What stands out is that Pretzelmaker soft pretzels are fluffier and lighter, and have a better overall taste IMO. They are what I describe as "pillowy goodness" and they always come out piping hot! Pretzelmaker is located in the lower-level of the Moreno Valley Mall next to Macy's. Pro-Tip: Park in the lot between the Macy's and JC Penney stores. There's an entrance that leads you down a corridor closest to Pretzelmaker. Because the pretzels are made fresh to order, there is a bit of a wait time. But the wait is always worth it. My favorite items to get are: * Mozzarella Stuffed Pretzel Bites with Pepperoni (buttered, Unsalted) * Pretzel Bites The lady (owner, maybe?) who's been making the pretzels does a fantastic job kneading the dough and making these delightful bites! And -- shhh --- they are the perfect treat to take inside Harkins movie theater (in your purse, of course). Much more satisfying than popcorn! Pretzelmaker, you are simply the best and completely irresistible!

I came to Moreno Valley Mall the other day and decided to buy the mozzarella pizza bites on a whim…read morewhich ended up being the best decision i've ever made. Although I was the only one in line and ordering, the wait time was a little long (8ish minutes) but it was well worth it as it completely blew my expectations out of the water. It was fluffy and the cheese was delicious which when you combined it with the marinara sauce made a mouthwatering combination. When compared to Auntie Anne's or Wretzels Pretzels, it is superior in every aspect and its unfortunate that Pretzelmaker is located in Moreno Valley Mall as if it were located in a bigger location (like Ontario Mills or Galleria), it would be much busier and bring it a lot more attention then it's getting currently.

I've been coming to Heroes since they opened many years ago. The food is really good, once they…read moreactually get your order right. On the majority of occasions, at least one person at our table has received the wrong order, or food not prepared as requested. Today, I ordered the pulled pork sandwich lunch special but received the pulled chicken sandwich. Both of my friends had asked for extra dressing, which they did not get at first. Two servers brought the food for our party of three, and both kept asking if we were a party of four because they thought that someone else at our table must have ordered the pulled chicken. Neither was the server that originally took our order. Luckily, everything was corrected fairly quickly. I think the problem is that Heroes has this policy that "every server is your server", but I think that often just causes chaos and confusion and wastes a lot of staff time and energy making sure the orders and the checks are right. Sometimes that policy translates to "nobody is your server" when you ask for something that you never get. Overall, the food is good, the drinks are huge, and the atmosphere is fun. I should mention that the servers are usually friendly and upbeat, but the service model they have to work under is just crazy.

On Wednesday, July 15, I arrived at the restaurant at approximately 2:45 p.m. and was provided with…read morethe lunch menu. Prior to 3:00 p.m., I ordered a ham sandwich from the lunch menu. However, the waiter did not submit my order to the kitchen until 3:06 p.m. The cook subsequently refused to prepare the ham sandwich because the order was entered after the lunch cutoff time. I then spoke with the manager, Brian, who stated that he could not require the cook to prepare the sandwich. Rather than attempting to resolve the situation, Brian argued with me, belittled me in front of other patrons, and repeatedly emphasized that he had been doing his job for over 30 years. I found his conduct to be unprofessional, disrespectful, and unnecessary. The delay in submitting my order was entirely beyond my control, as I placed my order before the lunch service ended. Instead of focusing on finding a reasonable solution, Brian chose to degrade me publicly. I also felt that I was treated differently because I am a Black man. While I cannot know his intent, the manner in which I was addressed and treated left me feeling discriminated against and deeply disrespected. I am extremely disappointed by this experience. I expected courteous customer service and a reasonable effort to address a situation that was not of my making. Instead, I left feeling humiliated and undervalued as a customer.
