It's a bit small inside, but they also have seating outside, which is nice if you want more space to sit and hang out. When I looked at the menu, I did notice the prices were a bit high. The small matcha was already around $8, so my friend and I decided to get a large Lagoon Matcha for $9 to share, which felt like the better deal. The drink itself wasn't bad, but I was honestly expecting a lot more matcha flavor. It mostly tasted like coconut water, which was refreshing, but there just wasn't enough matcha or cream to really balance it out. The matcha cream top itself was actually pretty good from what I could taste, but I wish there was way more of it. Instead of that richer, deeper matcha flavor you'd expect, it tasted more like a sweet cream with just a hint of matcha. I feel like if the ratio leaned more toward the matcha cream, it would've made the drink way better. The menu also mentioned that the Lagoon Matcha comes with coconut bits, which I was actually looking forward to, but unfortunately I didn't get any in mine. I actually had to go back inside and ask for more matcha cream because I could barely taste any matcha at all, and they were really kind about it and gave me extra, which I appreciated. Overall, the drink felt a bit underwhelming and disappointing, especially for the price. I really liked the concept and wanted to enjoy it more, but I just wish the matcha flavor stood out a lot stronger.

5/5 thanks to Taylor! I used to live in Riverside years ago and felt like the choice of boba and…read moretea places was very minimal and lacking. I was pleasantly surprised when driving by the area that there was a highly rated boba place I hadn't been to before. When I walked in, I was surprised by how busy it was. There was a line for the kiosk and after I ordered my drinks, the line was consistently to the door. There was a very wide selection of drinks to choose from and I appreciate them having unique flavors and twists to drink. I was contemplating between a matcha einspanner and the oksusu (corn) matcha latte. When I asked if there was a way to mix the two, Taylor was super friendly and helpful to explain how each drink was made and differed from one another and then took the time to give me options on how I could change up my drink. I ended up going with the oksusu matcha latte because the Korean in me loves corn drinks but Taylor had the barista add a rim of matcha syrup that you typically get in the einspanner. I loved the oksusu flavored foam with the little crunchy puffs. The matcha flavor was a little lighter than I typically like but still props for the unique take. My hubby got the Hokkaido milk tea. It was definitely a very sweet drink with a caramel like syrup in it which is different than how we've had Hokkaido milk tea at other boba places. If you aren't into super sweet drinks, I would recommend going lighter on the sweet level. You order through the two available kiosks here. I noticed there wasn't up to date menus on Yelp photos so I will upload the different drink options I saw through the kiosk!

Parking is very limited and that lot gets very busy with people coming and going. Experience: When you walk in, the two tablets will be on the left hand side. Note: They have tables and games for you to sit, play, and enjoy.

As my drink was being made I spoke with Jay, and found out she's recently just started her entrepreneur journey as a young small business owner.
