My sister and I hired him for an HVAC job and it was a terrible experience. So, in light of the recent negative attention to his business social on media, I've also decided to leave my experience hiring him. I'm just glad someone is finally bringing awareness. We made the mistake of not looking him up on the State Contractor's Licensing board when he provided me with an estimate to replace my HVAC system. He sat in my front room and called Polash Roman, a friend of his who is a licensed electrician but not licensed to do HVAC repairs, and used his license for the quote. He was supposed to install a 5 ton system and when it wasn't working properly my sister looked up the serial number and found he installed a 4 ton system and ripped me off. I then looked up the license number provided on the estimate and found it was someone else's. I had to file a complaint with the CA State Licensing Contractor's board and Chris was subsequently charged for performing services without a license and the court ordered him to pay me restitution. We have not seen a dime and it has been more than 41/2 years now. I had to hire Gilmore's to fix his poor work and it cost me more than $7k. My advice to anyone thinking about hiring this company is to stay away. Look him up on the State Contractor's License Board and you will see he is not licensed for any of the services he is offering. Coleman customs also isn't a real business he's simply changed the name. I cannot believe that he is still scamming people. I asked for his license and stuff for my taxes and and he told me he had to call a friend to get his contractor number it was cool . It was a shady experience being as the lady stayed in that black truck the whole day hanging out with him. He then left for over a hour from my job site and came back without the girl, to then clean up and go home. Chris Coleman isnt wualifoed to be on your property bro, for real. Chris is a great person who came to me at a time of need! Originally I had someone else who was going to come and do the job and that person never showed up. Secondly, I had someone else come by to give me a quote which they did after that. They never showed up. I was frantic because I needed to have the kitchen vents/ducts along with the vent for the bathroom fan installed before inspection. When I called Chris, he was very punctual, and reliable! He showed up when he said he was going to show up and more importantly he did the job quickly efficiently and at a great price. Even when I was not there, Chris sent me photos of the work that was being done and he was communicative at doing so. He works quickly he's trustworthy, skillful knowledgeable, and more importantly, reliable. I will need Chris again for a portion of installing a mini split, id recommend Chris for all of your HVAC needs! read more

Do not hire Chris Coleman custom electric. This business has been run by an addict, you could probably find his drugs locked in one of his toolboxes in the garage. He keeps his girlfriend's names under men's names and his cell phone contact. His sister is addicted to drugs and lost her home as is her boyfriend spun out. I've known these people for quite a long time and their emotional manipulators. They use children as ponds to find the next person to live off of for free. This guy took his ex to court and couldn't even pass a drug test to get his kids back. He's a strange children are looking forward to changing their name as they are so embarrassed. He's a drug addict so is everybody that he brings into his home. I really hope Ashley doesn't have more kids in that house. We've called CPS. read more

hi small electrical job recently. Much like the other reviews he was very nice on the phone to me and assured me that he was a professional and could do the best work when he showed up for what I would consider a small job, he was late, very disorganized. He sat out in front of my house a white Chevy Silverado for about 40 minutes before you came to my door, that was very unprofessional to start as well as bringing his girlfriend to work to sit in his truck the entire tine. I have lived in this town a long time and like to help out small businesses this was a big mistake. He is in fact, unlicensed and very unprofessional. But he gets your job on the phone. SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY AND HEADACHE! we hired Chris Coleman by friend recommended and I always prefer to support small business. With that said, and I am here to say He was supposed to install an electrical pannel. He quoted us one price and then brought a helper the next day. He was constantly on the phone yelling at someone the whole time . 2 days later upon their completion , Chris Coleman added $400 in "materials costs". He told me everything wanted to hear but when it came down to pulling a permit for the sewer line he couldn't. I should've asked before, but I didn'. He cannot isn't able to pull permit because he's unlicensed and un- certified in every aspect of construction. He said he could call a guy and use his license number but that didn't sound right. This is my fourth attempt to leave a review for this company. I hired to Chris to come out and hook up electrical to my garage... I will start with the positive. Chris has a convient-Call Forwarding system and his office assistant Ashley was a pleasure to work with Since Coleman himself was busy On the negative, Chris and his worker were late. he also couldn't provide a receipt or a California contractor liscense number. These guys are amazing! Chris, the owner, and Josh are amazing. Super knowledgeable and know exactly what they are doing. Not only did they respond immediately but they helped me out of a serious situation where I would have had to have my water shut off the entire holiday weekend. They also cut into their vacation time to help us out. It just goes to show what real quality customer service looks like. read more

I donot recxomend. We hired Dr. colon to cine out and unclog our kitchen drain. Unfortunately whilendoing so Chris Coleman cracked our sewer line. We ended up havinf to hire a new plumber who could pull permots to repair the broken line. This could have been prevented if i had hired a real plumber. read more
