As anyone who knows me, knows I love service. Love it. Almost if not more than the product. So today i needed a pair of boots for a fun Billie Bobs/Ft Worth NYE fun night watching my bud Drake Milligan kick butt. I go to the outlet mall (bad idea today) and stumble in Cole Haan. I find pair i like and Miguel rings me up. Could not be more easy. On my way out of course i see a pair that I probably would wear year round. As i try these on a cut I got on Thanksgiving carving the bird starts to bleed. Not only is Miguel the best salesman, he runs to the back of the shop and brings out bandages and antiseptic wipes. Like, who does this in a packed store? Miguel does and then trades my boots for the new ones. Best experience ever!!!!! read more

Cole Haan - The perfect boot! - Shoe Stores Near Me - Carlsbad, California

Bottom Line: Comfortable and stylish shoes at decent prices. I really like Cole Haan pumps and wedges for work so I stop in the outlet often. The outlet seems to carry some past season shoes that were made for the full price stores and lots of shoes that were made for the outlet. I expect quality dress shoes to be leather and leather lined but I recently noticed that some shoes seem to be lined with a man made material which means the shoe is less likely to stretch with my feet properly and is likely less breathable. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on that in the future. Also, it's very rare that I find any wide shoes which I often need. Having said that, overall my luck has been good at the Cole Haan Outlet and I've gotten basic wedges to fun pumps from $70 to $200 a pair where's at a full price store I pay $170 to $300 a pair. The staff has always been friendly and they are great at stretching shoes. They have men's and women's shoes including a clearance section in the back and some accessories sprinkled throughout the store. They are located near the center of the outlet center. read more

I am a big fan of this cole haan shoes. today I shopped zero gland wingtip oxford men here. because they put price tag sale from $190 to $133. both brown and black color, I felt good price find my size then pay. she said price is $189. ??????? wth. I show them sale price on the tag to sales representative. she said it is wrong and removing tag. I was not happy but one mustache guy sales said it is true.he said I saw wrong price. i didnt ask him though. who you are? forgot to ask your name, he was very rude. you guys fishing customers with fake price and then suddenly charge more and remove price tag. ? and they said it was 300$ after discount gonna be 189. I've never been the kind of guy who particularly likes shopping for shoes, so I really appreciate the staffers here at Cole Hahn - they went out of their way to help me, and to make my experience pleasant and less stressful. Everyone I dealt with from the moment I walked in the door was polite, patient, helpful, and completely non-pushy; no up-selling if any kind :-) My experience here was wonderful, and they have an exceptional selection of men's shoes to choose from. The worst customer service of any shoe company I ever dealt with! I am owner of more than 5 pairs of Cole Haan shoes myself currently. I like their design, comfort and looks. This is where positive ends. I always buy them in department stores and for the firsttime, I used colehann.con to purchase two pairs for my parents for Christmas. Then nightmmare began, they sent them into two seperate shippings and both were sent to completely wrong address. And i contacted customer reps on the phone and emails. It took them 1 month to finishh their investigation and so far only of them are refunded out of two. You can't beat the deals here. A friend has told me about this one for awhile but I finally made the voyage up to Carlsbad this past weekend. The store is laid out like a regular store with displayed shoes and boxes of sizes underneath. It doesn't feel like you're in a messy outlet shop. I couldn't believe that basically all the styles were 50-60% off. There's a clearance area in the back for the less than desirable styles but you can get almost as good a price at the front of the store. Service is very friendly although I didn't have anyone help me on the floor. Good thing my cashier asked me how things went and when I mentioned this she apologized and then said she could find a size in the back for one of the shoes where I hadn't found my size. Usually outlet stores put all their stock in front, so make sure you ask the staff if you don't see your size! I walked out with two pairs of leather/suede/patent leather Cole Haan flats -- one for $90 and the other for a shocking $55. Very simple thin soles but comfortable after wearing them twice all day this week. I never thought I would be able to afford Cole Haans! read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I purchased an order online. The minute that I pressed send I knew it was the wrong color. Trying to buy gift for my son for his birthday. I called and was told that I have to wait for the product to get to me and then return it and wait for a credit. They do not do cancellations. Would completely understand if product had been shipped but it had not. Was literally a minute. I do not have an endless supply of money to wait for all of this to happen to repurchase. Was considering purchasing other pairs as well but now you have lost all of my business. I came from San Diego to check out the Carlsbad outlets specifically for the Cole Haan Store. I was in Nordstrom looking at a popular men's shoe for my husband. The shoe in Nordstrom's was over $280 called original grand-chukka in woodbury. I was just bout to pull the trigger and buy it but they did NOT have my husband's size. So I looked online and it was SOLD OUT everywhere. I called Cole Haan and they told me they had (2) size 11's at the Carlsbad outlet. I called the outlet... they held the shoes for me and I drove up. Once I got there I was even more pleasantly surprised that the shoes were on sale and on top of that EXCELLENT sale was a $50 off coupon..... SAY WHAT!!! Great store! Lots of styles in almost all sizes. The prices are awesome, especially on holidays when they give you an extra discount on top of the already discounted prices. The service is equal to that of a luxury brand store. We had at least three different people ask if we needed help, and the sales people were attentive and very nice. We love Cole Hahn shoes because the inside of the shoes and the soles are so comfortable, but they don't look like fugly European comfort shoes (if you know what I mean). read more

my family and I have been buying this brand for years. Due tonwork I would often but two or three pairs of the sane model and style. That back fired on me with a particular model as the shoes were pinching my foot making it difficult for me to use. I had bought three of the same exact startle lastly in 2020. I tried a pair and then felt the defective shoe pinching my foot. I then tried the second pair hoping that it was just the first one with the problem. The second one was also bad. I never tried the third. I called one of the local stores and spoke to the Mgr. She was very rude and declined doing anything asno don't have the receipt either. I then called customer service, and was asked to send an email only because that's was the only way they communicate. Already I was feeling the run arounds... was told to call another and another area within the company and must of spoken to 4 people. No resolution provided just a lot of run arounds. Then received an email saying they have chosen NOT to replace the shoes. Not expecting that poor service from a company like Cole Hann sadly I will never buy this brand again. Sadly, I'm assuming since Nike sold Cole Hann to Apax Partners Worldwide LLP in November of 2012 the level of service has decreased. It's actually review for the owners. We came there to buy shoes for my wife. Found what she like and it was some small defective spot on it. I asked manager if he can give us discount and he told me it will be additional 10%. We also asked if they have another pair to compare. Checked it and it was few scratches on it. Finally we decided to buy 1st pair with small spot instead scratches. Came to register but manager refused 10% discount because like we trying to find defects and not happy with product. It was very rude and unprofessional. My wife likes it but guy on the register explaining us that he doesn't wanna sell us product. Very disappointed experience. Half priced, high quality, American (though some of the stuff is made in China now) made leathergoods, at an upscale outlet. If you like the brand this store is a must. My first experience with Cole Haan was a $6000 trip for some shoes and briefcases on Rodeo Drive in Beverly a few years back...this one was slightly more enjoyable after the purchase. Brandon took care of us pretty well, and I ended up with a great makeup/club clutch/bag for Val, which she seems to really like. Good Price thanks to the discounts, and super high quality (like the brand has been known for, for 50+ years), excellent location for a day trip, without having to fight the 405, the 610, the 101, the 5 or any other traffic-laden highway (ok, so the 5 is involved, but it's mild). Try it out if you are a fan of the brand for sure. Especially Men-the shoes are ridiculously cheap here for this brand. read more

After my pretty-woman-moment at Joe's Jeans, I think because of the amazing service here, I bought more than I had planned yesterday. And yup, that's exactly why customer service is key in retail. I walked in and was greeted. Someone asked me what I needed, and went out of his way to help me with my purchases and also give advice on different things. The quality of things here is really top-notch, without going into the top, top tiers like John Varvatos, Helmut, et. al. The things last long here, look polished, are comfortable, and are well designed. I'm incredibly happy with my purchases here. I have yet to have a poor experience when I shop here, and nearly always end up grabbing something because people here are just friendly and they know they have good products that they can vouch for. This is one of my favorite stores to go to when I Drive from San Diego up to the Carlsbad outlet. The service is top notch and they do not work off of commision. Most of these shoes are Nike Air which are very comfortable if you're in heels all day. I dont mind spending a little bit of money on my shoes because I hate it when my feet hurt. I've always bought work shoes here at this store because of convenience and I love Cole Haan shoes very comfortable and flashy unfortunately the last two times we're a fail I couldn't buy shoes because their computer system was down not once but twice in a row 2 days back to back inconvenience I had to go get cash from ATM to top it when it was time to pay the cashier wasn't very friendly i ask if she was ready for me to pay she was counting her drawer and I stood in front her for a good minute she looked up at me and almost screaming back at me saying if "I WAS READY" it was weird and uncomfortable. Hoping she's not there next time. I've bought 3 pairs of shoes here in the last month and had great service experience very helpful people for the most part. I move over to check out the clearance in the back, couldn't find anything that caught my eye. So I leave and I see her again walking towards me and I notice this unfriendly look she gave me. Hello Cole Haan! I was in the store yesterday, trying to buy some boots for my granddaughter. I stumbled upon the whole outlet mall while I was on my way to visit my family in San Diego. The first man who tried to help me was very rude and very loud. I am not used to such abrasive salespeople. I asked him for help twice and he barely checked on me. I did not appreciate feeling like I was bothering him so much. As I was about to leave, I finally had another sales person help me. She checked multiple times for the type of boots I wanted to buy and when she realized they were out of stock, she was kind enough to help me order them online. She took time to listen to me and was kind of offering alternatives. I would have left the store and would have only had a poor review if she had not approached me as I was leaving. The manager (Anthony ) at this store is the ultimate example of what customer service should not be like. We spent over$350 here and one of the shoes really bruised my boyfriends ankle. Bought a purse and paid $150+ Tax on a Monday. Was told it would arrive in 3-4 days. Didn't show up on time....6 days later a box shows up but its not the purchased purse; its shoes. Called Cole Haan and they said so sorry but" HEY the box with the purse is sitting right here on my desk (Mirealle- NYC) its going out in ten minutes". This was Monday a week later. By now we had sent back the mistaken shoe order but still no purse. We checked again today on the bought and paid for purse (Weds. 10 days later) and it still hadn't been shipped! Sez maybe tommorrow but can't give us the tracking number because the person handling our order took the day off. I owned many Cole Haan shoes and a few other products. But this time, I am very disappointed with the way they handled my order of a pair of shoes I ordered from their website. UPS delivered my shoes to the wrong address. They informed me that it takes 8-10 days to investigate, and will contact me for resolutions. Well, a week or so later, they informed me that they will refund my money. The pair of shoes I ordered and its size are still showing available from their website, but they did not give me an option of the replacement (some resolutions they give me, NOT). Maybe they decided not to have me as a customer, and purchasing their products anymore. As you can see, this is NOT in anyway of my fault. For those who are going to order from their website, beware that if something do go wrong, there will be no customer service, and any attempts from them to make it right. Had the displeasure of dealing with Anthony, the store manager today. I shop at this store often and have not had a problem previously. That being said, I am done and will take my business elsewhere. It came down to a return. I had the unused items with the original receipt in hand but was unable to return the items because of a 30 day policy that is written in what I estimate to be 6pt font on the back of the receipt. So much for clear and conspicuous. When I told him that this was not disclosed to me at the time of purchase, he proudly displayed the back of the receipt as all the evidence he needed. I wonder was the regulation says about this. And yes, I was 10 days over. Anthony's response to me was that he was "empowered" to hold to the policy. This was after I asked him to do the right thing. Some people simply should not be customer facing and should be "empowered" to do the right thing for the customer considering the lack of disclosure of policy at the time of purchase. read more
