Two ice creams and both had multiple strands of HAIR in it. Super grossed out.

Beyond grossed out. Ordered 2 items from this location and found MULTIPLE long, light brown strands of hair mixed into it. Completely unsanitary. It wasn't just a hair that fell on top. It was multiple strands mixed throughout the ice cream. This will definitely be the last time I go to this location nor recommend anyone to go there. I don't understand how staff doesn't notice this when mixing a scoop of ice cream into it.

What a fantastic experience! Tyler was an absolute delight. His dry wit and personality made the whole meal even more fun. And the food? Exceptional. We did the happy hour menu so we could try more dishes, and I'm so glad we did. The spinach sauce that came with the samosa was absolutely divine--the kind of thing you keep thinking about afterward. I may actually dream about that sauce. The kale dish with pomegranate, chutney, and dates was another standout--such an interesting combination of flavors. The naan was warm, buttery, and delicious, and the crab cake was really good too. The cocktail menu was just as much fun. I had the tamarind drink, which was wonderful, while my husband had the mint gin cocktail. Both were creative and delicious. Between the incredible food, playful cocktails, and Tyler's hilarious personality, we had such a great time. Honestly, by the end of the meal, we were wondering if this place was quietly jockeying for a Michelin star. It certainly has the creativity and attention to detail to make you wonder! Fantastic food, fantastic cocktails, and an unforgettable waiter. We absolutely loved it and would come back in a heartbeat. Oh, and the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated.

We were seated quickly and our food came out quickly. Service was a little slow but they staff was attending to several big parties. The restaurant is clean and modern. The staff is friendly and the busboy worked really hard, thoroughly cleaning tables. The food was decent and flavorful. We ordered medium lamb curry and hot chicken tikki Marsala. The heat was solid. This is a nice choice for the afternoon and I recommend giving them a try

Our first experience, a little over a year ago, was fantastic. The staff was friendly and helpful, the prices were reasonable, and the pastries were delicious. Unfortunately, this visit didn't live up to those memories. We stopped in shortly after opening to pick up some desserts for the three-hour drive home. Despite being one of the only customers there, we were not acknowledged for over five minutes and eventually had to ask if we could place an order. It wasn't the most welcoming start to our visit. We ordered two large cupcakes and two regular cupcakes and were surprised by the prices. The large cupcakes, which were only slightly bigger than the regular ones, were $6.00 each. The regular cupcakes were $3.25 each and were about the size of the mini cupcakes you might find at a grocery store bakery. We chose simple flavors--chocolate with chocolate frosting and vanilla with chocolate frosting--so there wasn't anything particularly unique or specialty-inspired to justify the higher cost. Unfortunately, the cupcakes themselves were disappointing. The cake was dry, and the frosting was very stiff, which made them less enjoyable than we had hoped. Given the price point, we expected a much fresher and more flavorful product. It's always disappointing when a place you once loved doesn't deliver the same experience on a return visit. While we have fond memories of our first stop at Pastry Garden, this visit left us underwhelmed, and sadly, it's not a place we'll be rushing back to.
