This butchery is clean and fresh with great service. Often you'll find chicken, beef, pork and lamb but around the holidays you may find turkey and duck as well. Great food nice people…read more The meat was very good but VERY VERY expensive. Also their sandwiches are very good but very small. $16.95 got me a pulled pork but it was served on a Martin's Potato Roll, which while tasty is tiny. They're not even using the "Martin's BIG Potato Rolls" just the small regular ones. The sandwiches come with chips for free or fries for an upcharge -- But the chips are homemade and frankly way better than the fries! That said again it was good but for the price the sandwiches should be much bigger. They were dog friendly and very nice which we loved. We will be back soon!

If you have somethingin particularin mind, you may be disappointed, but keep an open mind and you may find a surprise or two. I heard that they have Burek ( a savory, cheese-stuffed Filo pastry) so I was on a mission. First impression: clean, well organized, small, I didn't smell any hot Burek- hopes, dashed. I asked and was politely guided to a reach-in freezer stocked with a few frozen versions. They were very commercially produced, but I was on a burek mission so I selected two versions: cheese, and Spinach, both contained preservatives. ($18 each -serves 4-5 as an entree or 8-10 as an appetizer/side dish. I make this dish at home, but it is time consuming and the ingredients can be costly so $18 is about right. SCORED ON Bulgarian yogurt and feta cheese! The small fridge is well stocked. Other finds included Rose jam, Turkish Delight jellies, and a fabulous pepper and eggplant paste ( shelf stable in a glass jar. ($12) Use it on bread, or get creative- I mixed a couple of tablespoons into my homemade pasta sauce. They have a good mix of Eastern European condiments, and staples. My little shopping haul added up quickly. About $100. Ideas for the owner; add some homemade items: bread, Burek. Will I return? Not for the Burek, but yes to the pepper and eggplant spread and rise jam.

Some of it self-explanatory; a coffee pot, baseball caps or keychains. It's like being in a foreign country, in a market there, just looking around. Then there are imported products, on the shelves, that are in an Eastern European language, that I can't read. Good thing there's a translator on the phone. It'll give you a clue, at least. Somethings are easy enough to figure out from the picture on the box or look through the glass bottle. Others not exactly.
