Very thick meat, the saurkraut was great and so was the cheese. But it was so salty, I could only eat half of it. The same goes for the BLT with turkey. The turkey was nicely sliced and the ingredients were all fresh, but it was so salty, I could barely eat it. The bacon very thick, so they put the slices on the side. I was impressed with their large selection of Mexican chiles. A lot of the food seemed to originate from Oaxaca, so I'm guessing that the owners are from there and that the shop tailors to a select few Oaxacan immigrant families in Rhinebeck. It's a great place to get ingredients for cooking Mexican food without having to go all the way to Kingston, Poughkeepsie or even Albany, and the prices are very cheap. It was only around 11.95 for two sodas, two bulbs of garlic, 25 tostadas, and some snacks. It is a little messy but that is characteristic of family-owned businesses like this, so it really isn't that much of a problem. Definitely coming back again.
