The atmosphere is okay but doesn't have a welcoming feel. Every time, at least I came, the checkout line was always understaffed, only having a couple of registers open, and the line backed up. It was always a drag since it would take a while. It would be awesome if something can be worked out. If so, a change can come. I don't even head to the aisles marked at $3 and above because I remember when everything was truly $1. When you consider they're doing all the work it's really a bargain! It was one thing when we would take the D train down to Grand Street and walk a couple blocks and load up; now it's major operation. I'm so glad they are still around.
