The store is in good shape and well stocked, although some areas could be tidier. There were also enough workers on the floor. Donations are a big deal here, as they go towards a great cause. Finally went and forgot to post about it but this place is a little gem selling not just brand new items at thrift/yard sale prices but they also sell food and pantry staples. How? No clue. But you can literally buy a brand new target bathing suit at clearance price and walk out with Kirkland (Costco brand) products on the other hand. Super random but I don't hate it haha. It's got end of season clothing and the essentials for at home things plus a few other random gems. Definitely worth checking out. They have great deals. Plus side is you can even try things on. The fitting room is kindaaaaaaaa sketchy but hey if you need it you need it.

Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. I've always referred to them as "big lots, on steroids." The place is huge! They primarily sell manufacturers extras and overstock, and maybe the previous models of things. But, everything is good. Groceries, snacks, clothes, toys, home, and garden, housewares, kitchenware, tools, carpeting even furniture. If you see what you like, buy a little bit extra, because there's a good chance it won't be there the next time you come in. The stock always rotates. That's what makes it fun. It's like a giant treasure hunt. Also, if you sign up for a free "Ollie's army" membership, they will send you information on discounts that you can get off of their already great prices. I am a fan. Right on Route 28, Dollar General is almost an all-in-one shop where you'll find Downy, Tide Pods, GE lightbulbs, round, cotton face pads, Hanes undies, socks, small stationary section, excellent party supply area, snack things, etc. And then, there's their seasonal area. Not huge, but I found myself buying some of their faux- almost real-looking Cinderella pumpkins to add to the real pumpkins I bought from Trader Joe's to decorate the perimeter of my outdoor staircase along a few other cheap finds. Service was nice. And no, my things weren't $1 each. But they were a few dollars less compared to Hannaford- especially laundry items.
