We couldn't have been more thrilled with our experience after booking Raven Rose for our wedding…read moreflowers! We originally came across Raven Rose in looking for florists that had worked at our venue and were super impressed with their portfolio of previous work. To our incredible luck, not only was Courtney S. at Raven Rose incredibly familiar with our venue, but her beautiful shop was literally located across the street from the venue, which made it super easy to check in during the various stages of planning. During our consult, Courtney listened carefully to what our vision was, and despite the fact that I hadn't been able to find pictures that perfectly matched our wedding vision/colors, she magically knew exactly what we were looking for, and made amazing suggestions. Her enthusiasm and knowledge of her business really shone during our consult, and she was very kind about gently leading us away from flowers that wouldn't be in season or within our budget, as well as steering us away from trendier arrangements/colors that wouldn't have fit the more timeless look that we were aiming for. After our initial meeting, Courtney quickly pulled together a beautiful proposal (with gorgeous pictures and detailed floral suggestions) that blew us away, and we didn't even consider any other florists for our big day. During the entire process, she was such a personable, kind soul, and very responsive to any questions or concerns (and even gave us some great local recommendations for vendors and things to do for our visiting guests). Additionally, she was incredibly reasonable about working within our price range (and making a few last minute adjustments) and we felt completely confident leaving such a big part of our day in her capable hands. On our wedding day, she exceeded our expectations by hand-delivering the flowers of my dreams - elegant, modern and romantic and in the perfect color palette/aesthetic for an early Spring wedding in an industrial venue. I was absolutely blown away by her stunning work and truly couldn't have imagined a more perfect bouquet to have in hand as I walked down the aisle. Every piece (from simple floral crowns for our young flower girls to the bridesmaid bouquets to the arrangements throughout the reception) was absolutely stunning, and more than one guest said that the flowers were the most beautiful wedding arrangements that they'd ever seen (and I completely agree, even if I'm a wee bit biased). We can't thank Courtney and Raven Rose enough for the magic they worked at our wedding, and highly recommend them if you need a florist in the Hudson Valley (or beyond)! If you aren't in the market for floral arrangements, but find yourself in Beacon, NY, definitely check out their lovely brick and mortar store, which has beautifully curated flowers and gifts, too.

.Nope... long story short: We loved an arrangement they had on display, but it felt too top‑heavy…read more A month later, I dropped off our vase and was told by Jill, our "arrangement would be structured as a mix of hard and soft textures, light and dark neutrals, with bits of soft green worked in. I'll lean the piece to the left, as you mentioned, and keep the top open rather than dense, so the height reads as tall and architectural rather than heavy!" Perfect. The arrangement in the second photo is what we received. I expressed our unhappiness and was told we'd be charged extra for the design we originally wanted. I went back to the owner, Jill, who said she had "misinterpreted the design." They redid it urgently. We still don't love it, and when we asked about the materials used, we were told, "No, the commission covers the design, sourcing, and construction time of the finished piece, not a quantity of stems." So we're being charged for the materials from the first arrangement but not getting any of them back. We ended up paying nearly $500 for something Jill misinterpreted. I appreciate that it's an artistic piece that takes time to create, but this experience has been frustrating. It's sad that I can't recommend them, and reviews like this are written to warn buyers.

The store itself is so beautiful. And Jill, the owner is friendly and welcoming. They host a ton of workshop there, including the pressed flower art workshop I attended, which was so fun! Jill is a great teacher! Highly recommend this shop on Beacon's Main St.

We dealt with Bob the owner who was amazing but unfortunately passed away about 6 months ago. His son Rob has since taken over the business. We had an issue about a month after receiving the table with the wood splitting open the table in a few different areas. We contacted Bob about the issue and he was more then gracious to come by and take a look at the problem. He agreed that the was odd and that the table top would need to be repaired. Bob had told us he was going to send his crew to pick up the table top from our home on Long Island and bring it back to Beacon NY to correct the issue. Bob followed through like he said and a few weeks later picked up the table and a month after that we had out beautiful table back. Unfortunately the same issue occurred within the two months our table returned. [continued below].... Report Attachments: ..... In that period of time Bob had passed so out of respect we gave an extra month before we contacted Rob who was now in charge to let him know of the issue. I first reached out to him on February 9th 2017 by Facebook messenger. After a few days Rob responded and told me to give him a call so i did numerous times with no response. I then proceeded to text him which i had gotten responses from him asking for photos and measurements which i responded right away. Last i was told that Rob was going to build a new top and i would have it in 3-4 weeks. This was on March 29th 2017. Since April 26th which is 4 weeks later i have reached out to Rob and after the barn about 20 times by text, phone, Facebook messenger and email with not one response. I spent over $4000.00 on for this table and cant believe that this company who makes beautiful furniture has done this to my family. I have given them every opportunity to correct the issue and have been more then patience. I happen to be a small business owner myself and cant believe the treatment i am receiving. I have attached photos of the table and the conversations with the owner for the public to decide if they want to get caught in this same situation.

I would approach this business carefully as it's excuse after excuse and will give you a date to pick up the lumber but not come through. If you are going to buy anything from Robby pick it up the same day or you will get frustrated. I'm giving two stars for it being resolved but cannot give it more than that. I would never go back for any reason.
