Unfortunately, they often function with one cashier so the line does tend to get long at any given time. Dollar Tree prices keep climbing but you can still get cleaning supplies, and most household goods for less than $2. Today I noticed some cleaning supplies, like brooms, mops and dusters priced at $1.50, while foil and plastic wrap are up to $1.75. I don't even head to the aisles marked at $3 and above because I remember when everything was truly $1. Makes you wonder at what point will they have to change their name to Miscellaneous items at Miscellaneous Prices Depot. I may be reaching.. I found a present on a table marked everything's a dollar (and although the person I was buying for has yet to open their gift) I found it rather quickly. I gave it some thought. Now normally when I come in on other days, lines flow rather quickly but today I was hoping I'd get the same experience but found the lines to be moving slower than normal. I get it- it's Christmas Eve and I doubt the register clerk really didn't want to be there at 5pm, but saying "I only work by the hour" isn't the way you want to treat the customers in line. And it doubled with the other line, and there was no third register open though there was a register without anyone staffing it. I know I'll feel in here again for other things, but I won't be back here for any future Christmas package items in any other years.
