When I do go to ShopRite and he is working that day I always wait for him to take my deli meat orders. He is SUPER fast , & knows his way around the deli department. Everything was sort of everywhere. This store had very random merchandise. The sections that were set up had some appliances that seemed like Amazon returns, other opened packages that were just very random. They had some clothes, bags, appliances, exercise equipment, water bottles plus other items. I really just looked around very quickly and did not find anything that I did not know that I needed this time.

The store always looks filthy like a herd of buffalo had run through it. I went to grab a pack of bagels and I could feel like they were half frozen and there was condensation inside the bag. I found a different variety that was not half frozen. No clue why they all must come frozen. The customer in front of us had to make two credit card transactions. The cashier picked up a bag of tortilla chips and put it to the back of her order on the belt and forget to ring it out after leaving it close to our order. The cooler door to where the eggs are has a rubber gasket on the bottom that is dragging. When I reached in to get greek yogurt which is on a bottom rack, I noticed a thick layer of filth on the floor. Did not even see any German specialties for sale, just an array of Pumpkin Spice everything which was truly disappointing. What is the problem? Import tariffs?

Two employees were deeply apologetic when they told me that the items weren't available. They both told me the days and times that their trucks arrived so that I could return and have a better chance of finding the items. When I returned a few days later, I was told that they had sold out of their supply almost immediately. A female employee then handed me a 4 pack of toilet paper that she had put aside for herself! She said she was not in dire need and that she would replenish her personal supply when their next truck arrived. I was so moved by her selfless and generous act. I have returned to this store several times during the pandemic. They don't always have the items I'm looking for, but I have found that I have a better shot of finding them here than I do at any other local store. Each time I go, an employee will ask what I'm looking for, and then will go into the back area to pull that item for me (if available), as the truck had recently arrived and they hadn't had time to properly stock the shelves yet. I am just amazed at the fantastic level of customer service at this store. One of the times I went, there was a bin at every register filled with reusable washable face masks for $3 each. I bought two as that was the limit. I am so happy with those masks! While I was waiting on line the next time I went, I noticed a manger keeping a watchful eye over the cashiers, and reminding them to make sure that their masks covered both their nose and mouth. I also noticed that there were no bins of masks at any of the registers, as I would have bought two more. I asked the manager if he had any more masks and he told me that they had sold out very quickly, but there were more on order. I told him how happy I was with the masks that I had previously purchased. A few minutes later, the manager approached me and said that a truck had just arrived, and he would be happy to check if the masks were in that delivery. Sadly, they weren't, but I appreciate that the manger went above and beyond to actually check for me. I have shopped in this store many times over the years, and I have always had an okay experience here. But shopping here during the pandemic has been amazing. Every single employee that I have interacted with has gone out of their way to assist me. Their work ethic and pleasant upbeat attitudes are superb. A note to upper management and corporate - every single one of the employees in this store should be commended for their hard work and dedication to customer service.

An employee thought it was a good idea to place TWO carts of products directly in front of the "brown/ethnic" hair supply section of the store as if we didn't need to see and purchase these products. I had to move the carts to see the products and then retrieve the items I wanted. Meanwhile boxes are falling off the carts which is dangerous. An elderly couple came while pushing a lady in a wheelchair. She needed to see the products also. When they tried to push her through the isle, the carts and ceiling beam blocked her wheelchair so the elderly woman had to move the heavy, packed carts to get her friend's wheelchair out the aisle! As I put my products on the belt, Alexandra - store #4386, asked if I wanted a bag. She didn't speak to me at all. I said "hi" then she reluctantly said hello. When I worked for Dollar Tree, I was taught to speak to ALL customers. She also piled $55.00 worth of products in a single bag, making it heavy and on the verge of breaking, but she put the customer's items behind me in a double bag and the woman had less than 10 items.

Speaking of the pharmacy, the pharmacists are extremely knowledgeable and eager to help with all prescription and over the counter issues, and getting my flu shot is a breeze. After getting the item off the shelf for me, he asked if there was anything else I needed. I did self checkout and when I was finished, I realized one of the items didn't ring up at the price I thought. I went up to customer service to inquire, and the woman walked over to check the shelf price with me. It was my fault - I picked up an item that was not included in the sale. So I asked if I could switch my item, and she said of course. She walked me back to customer service, did the two price adjustments, all with a smile! I apologized since it was my fault, and she said it was fine - and she even thanked me! The fact that all employees and customers were wearing masks just made the shopping experience even better!
