Does anyone ever write a good review after shopping at walmart? Well I will say one of my best friends runs the front end, and shes awesome. Well there is a lot to say but not sure it would be appropriate in this format. The shopping experience separate from everything else was satisfactory. Able to find what I needed and most of the staff is helpful. I do a lot of shopping here and have been a loyal customer since they opened so this review is based on how it was and how it now is. Not sure what is going on with the management but most times there are no bags to buy at checkout. Other Walmart locations seem to have plenty. Apparently they all have an issue with theft of the inexpensive 74 cent bags but this location apparently cannot come up with a solution so they just don't make them available. Keep in mind the self checkout is staffed, you have to go through security which is adequately staffed about 6 feet away and have your receipt checked. If this is an issue why is security not paying special attention to ensure the bags on the receipt? Another issue is that recently each time I am in this store there is at least one female employee crying or being admonished much more harshly than anyone should be at their place of employment. I have heard both male and female supervisors and team leads call their staff lazy, fat and names that I would not feel comfortable typing. I have heard employees talking about how coworkers have thrown things that they were almost hit with and when it was reported nothing was done. The foul language and lack of professionalism is astounding! I have heard employees discussing issues of harassment and favoritism with management only to be laughed at, completely dismissed or told to "grow up". When I have felt moved to comfort employees and asked why they don't report it I am told "they need their job" or they have and it made things worse. There is a definite atmosphere of bullying, hostility and favoritism. I have also witnessed an employee in the meat department changing the price of an items and telling the "customer " that they would cook it when they got home. When I reported the incident I was told they already knew yet that person is still there and I have witnessed the same thing from the same person since however they are still employed. That theft is overlooked but the theft of inexpensive bags ... not so much. As far as the store manager he has not been very helpful when issues are voiced to him and basically passes the responsibility of resolution to someone that does not have the authority to deal with seriousness of these issues. Voicing these concerns to the many levels of the hierarchy of the store is futile. Calling (800) WALMART does not seem to do anything but make management aware that they need to prepare a good story to make the complaint go away. It is unpleasant believing that the issue is resolved only to see that in fact it has gotten worse. Maybe this review will get corporate to finally clean out the many levels of broken management before someone is seriously hurt. It is concerning what this will become when the only other large grocery store closes this year and they are the only game in town. read more

So not only do they have really and I mean really crappy customer care but now they are not open 24hrs. That's the only reason I would go there, now since I have to wait till 6am for it to open I might as well go to ShopRite which is closer. The one advantage they had over other local stores was being open 24hrs. Let's see if they could make this Wal-Mart any more worse than it already is. Walmart has 98% of the things you will need in your day to day life and the only bad thing is the price . I went to buy deodorant and normally it's like 5-10 bucks, well no it is $25 and you can just go to the dollar store and buy a pack of 3 for just $2 and what ever you do don't buy meat from there it was all bad every piece I choose was expired. Than coming to the clothes, they either run to small or to big, but at the end of the day you got what you need so I guess it's ok. read more

I've been to some Walmart Supercenters before - some large and mighty and some - (well) not quite so. But this one seemed different. It seemed smaller than normal (although it doesn't look it from the outside and it seems like they aren't utilizing all the space they have from the outside parking area). Before ordering special sandwiches made at the deli counter, we checked for macaroni salad but couldn't find any near the deli counter near the front. But the experience for me didn't end there. When we up to the deli counter, we saw one person ahead of us - okay. But, we were in a little bit of a rush, and had to wait made things seem even worse. Waiting just so long, we finally walked out. (I don't think they were fully-staffed here.) My brother reported back no problems at the Customer Service with his Money Order check order though. Lines looked a little long as we went through them going out, catching up with a family member at the self check-out stands in the process. I would have thought that if they would have added more registers they could have handled more people, but things here get tight. Though there are only 10-12 registers fully-staffed working diligently, it seems like if they added 1 or 2 more registers they'd be up to speed with normal daily Walmart use. I don't think this place is really ready for me. While it has some of the brands we know, it seemed to me that it wasn't fully stocked to the full selection of stuff we normally find in other nearby Walmarts - a major sticking point for a Walmart by gosh. I think they cared more about how their outside of the building looked, and not so much how much selection they carried inside. The outside looked large and spacy and new and fresh. But it wasn't like that inside. Even the floors weren't "up to par" to get this place in line with all the others - just black flooring here, and not up to the normal wooden floors underneath most of the store's interior. It almost seemed like they wanted to place another entrance at the side but late in the development (planning phase) their choice changed. Theirs plenty of parking on the one side, which is not something traditionally done at most Walmarts I've visited. I didn't get a chance to go up some of the aisles in grocery, seeing my experience elsewhere. read more

I was in town for a weekend getaway and stopped here for a few items that I forgot at home! This location had things that my local Walmart didn't carry and it was really clean! The deli did take a long time but other than that it was a great stop read more

It used to be good, and it used to be friendly, but it is steadily becoming just like any other Walmart. For one thing, the respect for customers is diminishing. They make you feel like a criminal by making you account for every item in your cart against the receipt. They have gates that close behind you enter the store. The yellow label "reduced or clearance" items are hardly reduced at all. I got some "reduced" chicken that was inedible and actually burnt on the bottom. The janitor "keyed" the side of my car because he did not like the way that I parked. I could go on.... read more

I don't usually like shopping at Walmart, but this store is different. It's always clean and well laid-out, the staff is nice and, although it's usually busy, it's not typically jammed, with insane wait times at the register, like other Walmarts in the area. The produce is always nice and fresh, too. It's my "go to" store in the area and I recommend it. read more

This is my local Walmart. it is 5 minutes from my house. Sadly, they are not stocked as the others are. there were many things I am used to buying there, that were not available there. it is very frustrating to then need to go to another store to finish shopping....maybe they will get better.! read more

I never thought there would be a Wal-Mart that would rate 5 stars but this one does. Things are always neatly placed, there are lots of helpful staff around, checkout is easy, and there is a great variety of products. I don't shop here for fresh produce or fruit as we have an abundance of farmers markets in the area. Maybe not the biggest, but definitely the best. read more
