My family orders from this Cold Stone location on a regular basis, often through DoorDash and other delivery services. Unfortunately, incomplete orders have become a recurring problem rather than an occasional mistake. Over the past several months, we have experienced missing waffle bowls, missing items, incorrect orders, and other fulfillment issues on numerous occasions. The problem has become so frequent that my wife now routinely calls the store after placing an order just to confirm that everything will actually be included. Even after calling the store, mistakes still happen. What is most frustrating is not the occasional error, because mistakes can happen anywhere. The issue is the lack of consistency and the fact that the same problems continue to occur over and over again without any noticeable improvement. Most recently, my wife contacted the store regarding yet another incomplete order and was met with a rude and dismissive attitude. After dealing with the same issues repeatedly, I personally went to the store because I was extremely frustrated that this continues to happen. At this point, the concern is not about a missing waffle bowl or a single item. It is about order accuracy, customer service, and accountability. Customers should not have to double-check every order, call the store after ordering, and still wonder whether they will receive everything they paid for. Yummy cold stone creamery ice cream is always a delight. I was craving the sweet vanilla cream with Snickers and caramel, and quite frankly, I ended up going with something else that was kind of close to what I was craving, but nonetheless cold stones creamery delivered. I was quite shocked when I found out that this place closes at 2 AM. I've never heard of an ice cream store close this late. I wanna say when I first walked in it looked fine, but the staff members that were working we're not the tedious in the sense of like there was just so much going on and it didn't look neat or that like it was well presented for the customers . We did have one ice cream that required brownies and so it took a minute for us to get that. I did use two gift cards that I've been holding onto for God knows how long but I finally was able to use them. Parking in the plaza is fairly easy specially if it's not during busy hours . We always ask for the mix ins on the side as my family likes different mix ins with their icecream. We have always paid the same price until yesterday when i checked my receipt and had a charge for $10 for "open food" . I immediately questioned it and the staff stated that they charge for the mix ins when we ask for them on the side. I did mention to her that out of all the years I have been going there, I have never been told this nor have I ever been charged. She insisted to say that theres nothing she can do because that is what they are suppose to charge. This upsetted me because $10 for 4 mixs ins on the side is insane. As soon as I walked in here with my 2 boys, we all right away noticed the horrific stench. Smells like spoiled milk/ spoiled ice cream... like really strong/bad. On top of that, the inside was very warm. Sure, It was a hot day, but that is why people go for ice cream, to cool off. As soon as you walk in an ice cream shop on a hot day, you should feel welcomed by cool AC air, or at least have some fans going on or something. On the contrary, you ever walk in a BR31 for example, or maybe even another CS location, and it's nice and cool, and smells of freshly baked waffle cones. Perhaps my expectation were too high. Maybe a cooler/freezer broke down and the smell was because some of the ice cream went bad, also maybe why the place was so hot. They were out of the yellow Minions ice cream which is the only reason my kids wanted to go there in the 1st place. So, I get it's a popular flavor, but if you have a popular flavor, be pro-active, think ahead of the game, have some back up. There is no inside seating, and outside there was one (1) table, so we just sat at the table in front of Starbucks, maybe all the tables are shared among the establishments there I don't know. 19.55 for 2 medium ice cream cups. Mainly because it just feels like thing here are slightly overpriced for what you get. Everything here is good quality and taste great, but it just feels like more of a treat than your average ice cream shop. Another thing is that because they're doing mix ins, the ice cream is a lot softer than others. Because of this, their food does not travel well. At all.
