Went to Cold Stone today and unfortunately had a terrible experience. I asked if I could substitute the brownie for cheesecake, and the employee giggled and told me they don't offer it, which came across as rude and unnecessary. I didn't want to argue, so I settled for yellow cake. She also never asked what size I wanted and just started making my order. Then, instead of handing me my spoon, she placed it on the dirty counter. When I got home, I noticed she had put a Like It cup inside a Love It cup-and I was charged for the Like It! This Coldstone has the worst customer service from all the other Coldstones I've been to. I am not sure if this is the store managers policy or the franchise owner, but I definitely will not be going back to this location. Other Coldstones have have employees that have made mistakes before, giving wrong orders, cakes not done by the time they commited to etc, but they have normally been apologetic and had done something to rectify the mistake. This Coldstone seems to care less. I had ordered 4 ice creams in ice cream cups to go. They had made all 4 infront me me, but for some reason, when I went to pay at the register, they only packed 3. When I got home and noticed 1 was missing, I went back and spoke to the employees. First, they looked surprised, as if they didn't remember me from a half an hour earlier. When I reminded them my order, one said "Oh yeah, this is yours." She promptly went to the freezer and gave me my order. When I asked why it wasn't placed in the bag, she just shrugged and said she doesn't know. I asked if they offer anything for the inconvenience since I was home already, unpacking everything and saw she missed my order, and had to come back out. She said they don't do that. I asked for their first names, and the employee said they don't give out their names. That's the first time I ever encountered a server/cashier not willing to give their names. She did offer to call her manager, Alexa Louis, who confirmed they don't do any rectifications when they miss orders like that and even was smug enough to blame me saying I should have checked my order. I told her I did, I was right infront of her employees when they were making my orders, and saw them place them together while they grabbed the bag, but went to the register to pay. I had no idea when I was paying, they would decide to keep one behind the counter. She again, non apologetically, said they will just give me the missing order, but will not offer anything extra. Yummy cold stone creamery ice cream is always a delight. I was craving the sweet vanilla cream with Snickers and caramel, and quite frankly, I ended up going with something else that was kind of close to what I was craving, but nonetheless cold stones creamery delivered. I was quite shocked when I found out that this place closes at 2 AM. I've never heard of an ice cream store close this late. I wanna say when I first walked in it looked fine, but the staff members that were working we're not the tedious in the sense of like there was just so much going on and it didn't look neat or that like it was well presented for the customers . We did have one ice cream that required brownies and so it took a minute for us to get that. I did use two gift cards that I've been holding onto for God knows how long but I finally was able to use them. Parking in the plaza is fairly easy specially if it's not during busy hours . I would say that the staff needs to focus a little bit more presentation and keeping the place organized and tidy, and so that customers come in they don't feel like it's been a bit chaotic prior to their order. read more

Over the past several months, we have experienced missing waffle bowls, missing items, incorrect orders, and other fulfillment issues on numerous occasions. The problem has become so frequent that my wife now routinely calls the store after placing an order just to confirm that everything will actually be included. Even after calling the store, mistakes still happen. What is most frustrating is not the occasional error, because mistakes can happen anywhere. The issue is the lack of consistency and the fact that the same problems continue to occur over and over again without any noticeable improvement. Most recently, my wife contacted the store regarding yet another incomplete order and was met with a rude and dismissive attitude. After dealing with the same issues repeatedly, I personally went to the store because I was extremely frustrated that this continues to happen. At this point, the concern is not about a missing waffle bowl or a single item. It is about order accuracy, customer service, and accountability. Customers should not have to double-check every order, call the store after ordering, and still wonder whether they will receive everything they paid for. I have submitted a formal complaint to Cold Stone corporate and hope ownership takes these concerns seriously. Have been going to this Coldstone for years. Our to go to order is always the everybodys banana icecream. This one comes with 6 mix ins although we usually only get like 3-4 of them. We always ask for the mix ins on the side as my family likes different mix ins with their icecream. We have always paid the same price until yesterday when i checked my receipt and had a charge for $10 for "open food" . I immediately questioned it and the staff stated that they charge for the mix ins when we ask for them on the side. I did mention to her that out of all the years I have been going there, I have never been told this nor have I ever been charged. She insisted to say that theres nothing she can do because that is what they are suppose to charge. This upsetted me because $10 for 4 mixs ins on the side is insane. Cold Stone is a great treat every once in a while but can definitely be a little too sweet for me. We come here very rarely but every time we do, the staff are always so friendly and helpful.
