I am so glad that I have tried cold stone. I had no idea that they had smoothies and as much as I really wanted ice cream I wanted to try their smoothies for the 1st time period there were so many choices but I ultimately chose blueberry banana smoothie and it was so good. I can't wait to try more smoothies in the future. I recommend this coldstone all around. I personally want to say that the young woman who made my smoothie was very helpful and sweet and very patient with me. Kudos to this ColdStone :)

I got the Berry Berry Berry Good Icecream today. I was craving some Cold Stone icecream after reviewing for the other cold stone store, so I went to the closest store. At this store, the small/medium/large were all $0.20 difference, so I got the $6.19 large. Small size is $5.79, Medium is $5.99, and Large is $6.19. The small was too small to be $5.79...so definitely more worth it to get the largest one! The Berry Berry Berry Good Icecream was a sweet cream base with raspberry, strawberry, and blueberry! They added 3-4 berries each into my icecream and mixed it on the frozen plate. The creamy flavor of icecream was good! It felt fresh with all the added in berries :) I felt like the icecream was not cold enough, because I could see the cream get liquid-y right when I got the icecream to me. As I brought it into my car, it was starting to melt even more... I had to put the icecream back into the freezer for it to freeze some :(

I got the like it cake batter with Oreos ( my fav)

I know I hide my country upbringing well (aside from the accent-it is what it is), but have no…read moredoubt it's still there. I'm talking the kind of country that grew up on homemade biscuits and fried bologna, syrupy sweet tea and banana pudding out the oven, vegetables from the garden or from the jar (but before that, the garden). Yep, rocking chair on the front porch with a fly swatter in one hand and slice of watermelon in the other. So when someone posts a review about the quality of the country cooking here and photos of cornbread and a porkchop, you know I was a bit skeptical. I perused the menu and saw that fried chicken (the true test of country cooking) is only served on Wednesday's. So on a Wednesday I made my maiden voyage to the potential land of newfound love. Like other categories of restaurant/cafe, I have staples with which to test the overall quality. That day; the aforementioned fried chicken, mashed potatoes (or taters if you're from the South), green beans, a square of cornbread, a slice of lemon cake, and a glass of sweet tea. Now before I walk you through my tastebuds visit to heaven let me backup and get you to the front door. Plug the address into GPS. It is tucked away in a corner, hidden behind another restaurant, and sharing a parking lot with yet another restaurant. Like I said, use your GPS. Parking was a challenge at lunch so come early. When you walk in, the line forms to the left hand side and may already be backed up to you. But if it's a first visit, that'll give you time to see everything on the hot bar (written on the glass directly in front of you) and decide on which dessert(s) you want. Those are in the cooler in the middle (ranging from a slice of cake to slice of pie to banana pudding). After ordering you'll continue moving to the right until reaching the register. After paying, drinks are against the right hand wall. I personally recommend finding a seat in the "overflow" section (that's what it looks like to me). You'll find it around the corner, with four person tables awaiting. There are a few outside, with umbrellas, if the weather is right that day. Now back to my food ecstasy trip. I asked one of the team members floating around pouring tea just how sweet it was. She said something about "...cups of sugar" and the rest was a blur. I already knew it would be on point. I shared how I grew up with it leaving a sheen on your lips. She chuckled and stated I should be satisfied then with theirs. And I was. I had to slow myself down due to the knowledge too much before eating will leave you feeling nauseous. My lunch arrived, but it did not rest upon my plate long. I sampled the sides and cornbread then went straight for the wing. The chicken breast soon followed. I came up for air just long enough to get a refill of tea before intaking the lemon cake. The balance of sweet and tart, the airyness of the icing, and the moisture of the cake were all pure perfection. I debted going back for a slice of the strawberry, but already felt a food nap approaching. I am heartbroken that this was my first visit (as it has been around since 2017), but my wounds shall be healed with the application of more (and more) amazing food. Stop by today! Or at least the day they serve a item you really love. And don't forget dessert! Sidenote: With the fried chicken, you can choose between light or dark meat.

Food was good. Served quickly and everyone is super nice. Limited seating. Its not fancy but good…read morediner food.

Southern charm, incredible lunch, legendary desserts, and truly wonderful service…read more Boll Weevil is one of those places that feels like you stumbled into something special. From the moment you see the brick building and walk inside, you get this warm, classic Georgia café vibe. It is cozy, welcoming, and full of character. It is the kind of place you want to slow down and enjoy. We came in for lunch and everything was outstanding. I had the Curious George, which is turkey topped with spinach dip and provolone cheese on sourdough bread. It was absolutely fantastic. Warm, savory, and perfectly balanced, it felt like true comfort food done right. It also came with a fresh side salad and great dressing that honestly could have been a meal on its own. My boys ordered the chicken quesadilla and nachos, and both were big wins. The quesadilla was crispy and cheesy. The nachos were fully loaded with seasoned beef, black beans, melted cheese, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, plus salsa and ranch on the side. The portions were generous and the flavors were excellent. Then came the desserts. We tried chocolate cake, carrot cake, and red velvet cake. We ordered half slices and they were still huge. Every single one was incredible. The red velvet and carrot cake were made with real cream cheese frosting. The carrot cake was rich and moist. The chocolate cake was deeply decadent. Pairing the carrot cake with a cup of their coffee was the perfect finish. The coffee was smooth and flavorful and exactly what you want with dessert. We were also lucky enough to be taken care of by Reagan, who was incredibly kind, beautifully stylish, and so helpful with my boys and me. She gave great recommendations on dishes and portion sizes. Her warmth and attention truly elevated the entire experience. Between the cozy atmosphere, outstanding food, unforgettable desserts, and exceptional service, Boll Weevil is now officially a must stop every time we are in Augusta. Come hungry. Save room for cake.

Turkey and rice soup was very salty, not warm enough. The bread on our sandwiches were not a good quality... and not fresh Sides with sandwiches were subpar.... Regular chips on one and tasteless pasta salad on the other.

First time in South Carolina and tried the hotel restaurant, Salt & Marrow, not a pleasant surprise…read moreof an establishment as I thought, it was more of a disappointment. From waiting 20 minutes for the only server on a Saturday night (mind you there was only 4 tables sat in the restaurant to give you context), to a poorly poured beer (that must not have been draft, but from a can or bottle due to the deficit in head space), to no corn bread brought to the table as offered, and a 40 minute wait for any food to come out. I almost walked out to grab a bite to eat from the hotels mini convience store. Now for the positive. The restaurant is nice, esthetically, warm and charming.. The small plate scallops with rice with delicious butter sauce was, well, delicious and worth the money. The cornbread, when it finally arrived with my dinner, was soft and had a sweet honey glaze on top with a slight crunch reminisce of a cream brulee, so I suppose that would constute dessert as there was none available. Overall, a delicious dinner. As a bonus, after my first bite, it was nice to be asked by the chef how it was, as he was walking around to each of the four tables having dinner. With that said, I hope breakfast is better in the morning and dinner will most likely be out in town the rest of my stay.

Food: My wife and I ordered the Lamb Chops with Truffle Fries and Collard Greens. The Lamb Chops were delicious, cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. The Collard were tender and well seasoned. The Truffle Fries were served hot and crispy outside and tender potato inside, very tasty. Short Ribs with mashed potatoes. The Short Ribs were fall off the bone tender, juicy with a great tasteful gravy. The Mashed potatoes were cooked perfectly not sure what was all in them however I would definitely get them again and again! Service: Absolutely hands down the best customer service. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and promptly. Our waitress was so sweet and polite also attentive but not pestering. The entire staff came by the table wish us a happy anniversary and at the end of our meal the staff presented us with chocolate cake a courtesy. Ambiance: Classy decor, elegant table setting and comfortable casual lighting perfect for a romantic meal.
