My review is going to be on the one in the waffle cup because you can clearly see the difference from the other. We came in for a treat tonight and it wasn't crazy busy but there were a few people ahead of us. The store is pretty small and has one table to sit at but there is outside seating. One of the guys helped me while another helped my husband. I'm not sure if my guy was having a rough day but he barely mixed my ice cream up and it was already melting on the ice plate before he scooped it into my bowl. My husband's ice cream was well mixed in and it was still firm. Although my cone was yummy and crunchy, I wasn't very impressed with the quality of how my ice cream came out so that's why I'm giving them two stars. The photo speaks for itself. read more

This location has the best prices for cakes I've been ordering birthday cakes from this Cold Stone location for years now for my family and the cakes are consistently fresh, delicious, and beautiful. Plus, the owner is really kind. I recently ordered my birthday cake here, but it was accidentally stored in the fridge instead of the freezer and melted (thanks mom). When I placed a reorder online, it was fulfilled by a different nearby location by mistake--and the difference was very noticeable. The other local store's cake was significantly smaller, more expensive (by $15 for the same 6 inch cake), and didn't taste nearly as fresh. The cake is $39 at this location compared to $54 at De Palma. I posted a picture. It really made me appreciate how consistently good this location is. read more

This location is in the best shopping center. It is located across a big beautiful water fountain and next to a movie theater. They have a few tables inside, but why would anybody sit inside when you can enjoy the beautiful outside. They have about 5 patio tables with umbrellas. It's a great place for a date night. The service has always been great at this location. The staff has always been friendly and chatty. The line is never crazy long. I love this location. My favorite ice cream is the "Mud Pie Mojo". A mixture of coffee ice cream, chocolate, peanut butter, and Oreos. Although they have a menu to choose from, I love that you can create your own too. It is on the pricy side but I'm ok with it for good desserts. They also have ice cream cakes at this location. read more

Guy behind the register was extremely rude and unprofessional. Laughed at me when I pointed out that he punched in the wrong order and overcharged me for what I asked for. Told me "yeah if you came here 10 years ago it would be that price" while laughing, when I literally had screen shots of previous transactions of me being there not even a month ago and it being the cheaper price for the same exact order. And when I was in the middle of trying to pull up my recent transaction to show him and ask why it was more expensive, he just walked away to help the people who just walked in instead of letting me finish my sentence / transaction. Also the ice cream I ordered was hot and melted. I would've taken the L about the pricing and moved on but the guy had the audacity to laugh at me and to walk away when I was in the middle of asking a question. There is no better ice cream, period. This is such a treat. I don't go often because of the calories, but when I do, I get the cake batter ice cream with hot fudge and yellow cake. It is AMAZING. The ice cream is the creamiest on earth, and I've tried a lot of ice creams. As for the service, all these low star reviews are picking on the fact that there is usually one high school kid behind the counter scrambling to help everyone, and on weekend evenings, there can be a line out the door. The first time I came, I was a bit shocked by the prices but the ice cream was fairly good and I came back for a birthday sundae which was good. I'm so livid with the experience I had here tonight. They have completely failed to implement some important Covid protocols as well as basic hygiene practices. There was no limit to the number of people allowed in the store and it was totally crowded. No marks on the floor to indicate customer social distancing either. Only one of five-ish employees working was properly wearing their masks (the masks issued by cold stone look to be improperly fitted causing all but one employee to wear their mask below their nose. When it came time to pay, the cashier handled my credit card and immediately returned to making ice cream for the next guests in line. One of our ordered was very sloppy and had ice cream running down the side before we even made it out of the store. I called and spoke with the manager but was only given excuses. I absolutely love Cold Stone ice cream and this location is 3 minutes from my house. You might wonder why the 3 stars? Well I don't like leaving negative reviews but seriously need to in this case. I placed an online order for pick up at 4:45. I hate waiting in line when I'm just going to eat it at home. I get there at 7:20 to pick up since they are supposed to make it and put it in the little freezer on the back counter. I had to wait for them to finish with 2 large groups to then be told they hadn't made my ice cream because I wasn't there. The owner asked why I was upset when it was only 1 minute. The man making my ice cream touched and played with something in his mouth while making my ice cream multiple times! These kids don't wear gloves at all which made me have to hyper focus on the making of my ice cream to make sure I wasn't going to get sick from his germs! Ice cream. Who doesn't love ice cream? I remember the first time I ever went to Cold Stone, I feel in love right away. For some reason, this specific Cold Stone location doesn't make me fall in love the same way as I do as other locations. Everytime I come, there always seems to be different staff members and each time, they seem a little inexperienced. Its usually a bunch of teenage girls that just stand around and seem to not want to do their job. I get not a lot of people enjoy working, but I never really feel welcome at this specific location. The ice cream here also isn't as smooth and silky like the other locations. The ice cream here always feels a little icey. One time I bought a birthday cake here and it literally tasted like ice. No one in my family ate the cake aside from me . Anyway, the place probably isn't as bad as I made it sound, but I don't think its comparable to the other locations I've been to, specifically Huntington Beach. Before my family ordered looking in the ice cream case noticed hair laying on top of the Banana Pudding ice cream. Ignored it because wasn't getting that flavor. I received a gift card for Cold Stone for Christmas and my gift card didn't quite cover the order total for mine and my daughter's ice cream, Atef let is slide without charging us the remainder.
