I don't like making a big deal over $6, but this place really needs to fix their management policies. I was accidentally charged for an extra item. When I went back, instead of a simple refund, they told me they don't do refunds and suggested I just take the extra item... even though I already bought what I wanted. That doesn't really solve the problem. The only other option was to leave my number and wait 2-3 days for a manager to call me, and I'd have to show the receipt then. What if I miss the call or lose the receipt? That just makes a simple mistake way more complicated than it needs to be. I don't blame the employees--they're just following instructions--but management really needs to improve how situations like this are handled. read more

When my daughter was little she immediately fell in love with Cold Stone Creamery for the simple reason they'd mix candy sprinkles into her ice cream. She's then take about 5 spoonfuls and be full. I would lament spending so much money on a wasted treat (sorry, but wedding cake ice cream with sprinkles wasn't my jam). She just turned 21 and I surprised her with a Cake Batter Fudge Cake. I considered an ice cream cake at the local grocery store just to save money. I am so glad I dropped the extra money on a Cold Sone Creamery cake. The layers of fudge rippled ice cream, cake, and soft creamy frosting were amazing. Let's be adults here: don't waste your precious calories on a subpar ice cream cake; get a Cold Stone Creamery cake. Need a cake for you kids? Stopped by this Cold Stone, staff was fine and the icecream was typical but the store is disgusting. This location needs a serious deep clean. The floors were messy, the walls had icecream drippings, the display cases look like they haven't been wiped down in months, the bathroom was dirty. We used to get all of our ice cream cakes from Cold Stone because they were so yummy! Today we went and picked one up for my cousins birthday. I didn't look too closely at it because we've never had a problem before. We had them write Happy Birthday and bag it up. Got home and was so disappointed. I don't care that the writing was sloppy and small but the size of the cake (this was labeled as the large) was so much smaller than it is to be and the fudge ganache was barely there. Went in with a couple friends about 10 minutes before they closed on 04/09. The girl in the beanie at the counter looked us dead in the eye and said "do you know what you want? Cause we're closing soon so hurry up.." and then pointed her finger towards the door. There were a couple people that were ordering before us and we still managed to get our orders made and paid for before 10 pm... My friend said "sorry for coming in" like we were such an inconvenience to them. It's BS that he felt like he has to apologize for making them DO THEIR JOB! I'm only posting this review because I sincerely hope the management speaks to these employees about this. Customer service is rapidly declining and it really sucks. Worst experience ever. Came in with my 6yr old and 4yr old. The employees completely rushed through our orders and gave the kids No time to decide their mix ins. Instead, they immediately started mixing in whatever they mentioned and tossed it in a bowl. Subsequently, I had to order and pay for another ice cream that my child would actually eat. I have never seen such rude, dismissive, impatient employees at a cold stone in my life. I do not recommend this location for anyone, even more so... a family trying to have a nice evening treat. Had to -1 star because I ordered a "love it" size with the Ghirardelli Sea Salt Caramel chocolate as the topping and they only put ONE chocolate square in there. This location can be a hit or miss. Most of the time they are on their game, but other times they make you scratch your head. Sometimes its clean, sometimes it isn't. I guess that is what you get with high schoolers that just don't care sometimes. Over all a good location if its on its game. I tend to have more better experiences than bad. However their loyalty program is a joke it always tells me the same thing. I asked them about it and was told everyone always says the same thing. The only down side to this location is sometimes their stone isn't cold enough so you get mush rather than ice cream. read more

I was a little disappointed with one of the workers tonight when I came in. The two boys were amazing and you could tell that they had been picking up the slack for the girl who was there. The girl at one point disappeared into the bathroom and I did not see her return before I left. I was finishing my ice cream outside and was there for almost 45 minutes. I went there tonight and ordered a "Gotta Have It" peanut butter perfection. The guy working wasn't wearing a name tag but he was the only guy working tonight, helped me. He started to make it with Vanilla ice cream and I asked him "isn't it supposed to be made with chocolate ice cream?" He replied, "you said you wanted French Vanilla." When I told him I didn't say that, he proceeded to argue and tell me that's what I said. I just said "ok, can I get it with chocolate?" He asked "you want me to switch the ice cream?" I said, "yes." He then proceeded to continue making it with the vanilla. Then I told him I wanted it with chocolate and he again said "you said you wanted French vanilla." At this point I just said whatever and said can I just get it made the way it usually is made. He again mumbled how I said French vanilla and proceeded to ask one of the female employees how to make the peanut butter perfection. He made it, mentioned again how I said French vanilla, and gave me a "gotta have it" cup that was about 3/4 of the way full. At this point I just wanted to get out of there, so I didn't say anything. You would think this review might be a one star, and it normally would, but I've been to this location several times before and not had an issue, so I can't say it would be fair to rate the entire store as a one, just because of one employee who may or may not just be having a bad day. read more
