The manager still refused and told her she'd have to purchase two separate milkshakes instead. The request wasn't for extra product--just a second cup for two small children to share. What made the experience worse was the manager's attitude. She came across as rude and dismissive rather than trying to help find a reasonable solution. We understand that every location has its own policies, but customer service goes a long way. Once I walked back in, the employee said, "Oh, I guess they're working now." While speaking with the other customers in the store, they also shared that they had initially been told there was no water, but decided to try anyway and it worked. I understand that things happen and equipment can be unpredictable, especially near closing time. However, as the other customer was finishing up, the employee walked over and said, "Well, are you going to pay for that or what?" Both myself and the other customers were stunned not only by what was said, but also by the tone in which it was delivered. The workers behind the counter are always fast and courteous. I even got money back one time when the outdoor water dispenser ate my money after hours but didn't give me any water. The price of water is still reasonable at 50 cents per gallon for the quality of the water you're getting. It's the only water my cat will drink...she won't touch store water, fridge-filtered water or tap water. That's how you know it's good!
