First off extremely kind employees! They definitely get an A plus for what they do. This is a busy place. Occasionally I'm forced to deal with the ice cream addiction. Having another birthday cake yesterday, it was pretty good. I can't prove it, but seems they changed their ice cream formula. It used to be more fresh, but that's up to someone on a higher pay scale to figure out. In my opinion for whatever it's worth, good but not great! When paying these prices, I expect more. Inflation has hit them too, but just would like some changes. As for the store itself, try to get a chair or seat. It is immensely popular. The place itself is very clean. I think they made a good decision with the wall chairs. They are comfortable, although it's difficult to relax with lots of people around. Then again join in on the fun. I recommend this one but not enthusiastically. If you're in the area the waffle cones are decent, and they have a lot of menu choices.

I would've given this place 5 stars if it wasn't for me having to ask the worker to put on new gloves. He was handling money, went to the back a few times, and was about to dig his hands right in to get my ice cream. No thank you. Please change your gloves, sir. Eww. I got a Mine sized dark chocolate with brownie to take home. Omg! It was everything I wanted and needed. I had been craving Coldstone for days and that ice cream met my expectations. Just change your gloves first next time and we'll be good!

I ordered ice cream cupcakes for Father's Day. Red velvet, and signature chocolate one. 6 for $16.99 and boy were they small. I wasn't excepting it to be that small and not presentable. It didn't look anything like the picture that they advertise online. It was so dull and boring. Regret paying that much for it but I guess good way to find out if it was worth it and it's not. Taste of the actual cupcake was not that impressive either. Had to ring the bell several times for someone to come out of the back and he was little rude. He didn't greet us but asked what we wanted... nah, not worth my business with them again.

Dear Cold Stone, it's not you it's me. Your store is clean and the service is friendly but I just don't care for your ice cream.

I want to add to this that, after I left a message with this store about the problem described above, the owner called me directly to apologize.

My favorite ice shop in Nova! I enjoyed it so much with my daughter that I went back the next day…read morewith my son! Delicious ice cream with 20+ flavors with some unique seasonal (Black Sesame, Ube, Italian Ricotta, Horchata, Apple Pie), and boozy adult flavors (Bailey's, Tiramisu, Eggnog, Kahlua). The creamy Bailey's flavor and Tiramisu had a nice boozy kick to it. My favorite flavors include Choco Heaven, Dirty Brownie, Coffee Oreo, Matcha, Super Oreo, Apple Pie, Butterscotch, Cookie Monster, Tiramisu, Bailey's. As it's so hard to land on a flavor, I generally get a split scoop and the flavors pair really well together. The staff is so nice and generous, particularly Ms. Mimi and kindly let me sample more than a few flavors! She was very sweet to my kids and gave them cute panda stickers! The Apple Pie and Butterscotch ice cream flavors were very unique and paired well together. The Choco Heaven is decadent with dark chocolate hazelnut and tastes like a soft Nutella. The Dirty Brownie has chunks of fudge gooey brownies and another rich flavor. The Coffee Oreo tastes like an Oreo Frappuccino and the Oreos soften the bitterness. While the Choco Heaven and Dirty Brownies are very rich, bold flavors, they overpower other flavors. The Coffee Oreo and Tiramisu were a bit in the background and a bit muted. The Matcha and Super Oreo were divine and paired really well together in a split scoop (2 flavors in a single scoop). It's pretty rare to get split scoop now-a-days. The Super Oreo definitely delivered with Oreo cookies in every bite and the Matcha balanced out the sweetness and gave the flavor more depth. The blue Cookie Monster was delicious with chunks of cookies in every bite. Both my kids and I really enjoyed it so much that we went back for another scoop! Excited to come back to try the next line-up of flavors!

Their 3D mousse desserts are some of the best I have ever had, and the loaded bingsu makes Shilla a must-visit in Annandale. Shilla has been a neighborhood staple for years, offering everything from cakes and breads to bing-su and beverages. I have had many of their cakes for celebrations and birthdays, they always hit. While they nail the classics, they also continue to impress with creative desserts that feel fresh and refined. The interior has plenty of seating, clean, and cute paintings on the walls to set the mood. Despite the busy crowds, service was quick and welcoming. We came specifically for the 3D mousse desserts, and they exceeded expectations. My favorites were the Sleeping Bear, Avocado, and Banana. The avocado mousse was surprisingly nutty and paired perfectly with the banana jam filling, creating a balanced dessert that wasn't overly sweet. The Chocolate Bear was equally smooth and creamy, and even the buttery cookie base was delicious. The strawberry bingsu was generously topped with condensed milk and large, chewy pieces of rice cake, making it the perfect dessert to share. Shilla remains Annandale's staple bakery and a gem.

I mourn the fact that COVID killed the samples, but it's still a great place to shop for a treat or just run in and grab a coffee which I do a few times a month. Recommend: Any of the breads that are unwrapped and on the baking trays by the counter. Those are fresh out of the oven that day. I especially love the mocha roll. It's big and fluffy with chewy moist mocha flavored dough and a crispy sugary coating on the outside that's to die for. It's still light and fluffy at the same time. Yum! And while it's prob not made in-house, I do love the red bean buns. Bathrooms are always clean and the upstairs is great for a longer chat with a friend, time in a book, or board or card game time. They also have a lovely upstairs covered porch for pretty days.

First, the yogurt snow had awful fruits: kiwi was old, strawberries were not ripe, melon tasted like watermelon rinds, the canned mandarins tasted canned. The yogurt was okay, but the snow tasted just like ice. Absolutely no flavor whatsoever for $16.55 The chocolate chip brownie, didn't have much taste of chocolate and stale. $4.50 The upside down pineapple cake was the worst, so old it had the metallic taste of the aluminum container and crumbled into granules using a fork. Absolutely inedible! $4.25 Breeze bakery has been going downhill for a while now, but 3 out 3 items being inedible for $28 is unbelievable. There is also the short bulky Korean guy, possibly the manager who's seems to be on a power trip and speaks to customers rudely and unprofessionally. Will never come back and will inform my friends and family how this business is tanking.
