This was my very first time at Ben and Jerry's. The ice cream was delicious. I got a scoop of Cookies and Cream. My husband enjoyed his Chocolate Brownie ice cream. We ate inside although many customers were eating outside. Service was quick at the counter. Price wise it is what you would expect. read more

Okay so I never thought I would be going out of my way to leave a review for Ben and Jerry's. BUT I truly appreciate amazing customer service and honestly it's hard to find lately. I took my daughter to get some icecream today and the man working behind the counter was so friendly and just had the best customer service. While she was deciding, he offered her samples and honestly I would usually have to ask for that at other places. I also asked if she could get a smaller than usual serving size and he was quick to make that happen. I forgot to ask him name but he is such a gem. I'm sure his management is already aware. read more

They had about 4 people working so line was moving quickly. I got a taste of the ice creams I wasn't sure about. A few ice creams they were scraping the bottom and brought another tub to fill it up so that was nice. They have tables inside and outside to enjoy as well. read more

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to Ben & Jerry's, and especially to Kyle Hosch, for helping make our wedding day so special. Planning a wedding can be incredibly stressful, and after reaching out to several ice cream companies, I was honestly feeling discouraged. One company kept me on hold for 45 minutes only to hang up on me, and another never even responded to my email. I was beginning to lose hope. Then I found Ben & Jerry's, and everything changed because of Kyle. From our very first conversation, Kyle was kind, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure everything went perfectly. We emailed back and forth throughout the planning process, and every single time he responded with patience, warmth, and reassurance. He didn't make me feel like just another customer--he made me feel like our wedding truly mattered. On our wedding day, everything went so smoothly, and I know that's because Kyle put his heart into making sure every detail was taken care of. In the middle of all the excitement and emotions, it meant so much to know we could count on him. Kyle, if you happen to see this, I want you to know how truly grateful my spouse and I are. Thank you for your kindness, your professionalism, your dedication, and for going above and beyond. You helped create memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. If you're considering Ben & Jerry's for your event, don't hesitate for a second. Their customer service is exceptional, and if you're lucky enough to work with Kyle Hosch, you'll be in the best hands. People like him are rare, and he deserves to be recognized for the incredible work he does. Thank you, Kyle. Thank you, Ben & Jerry's. You made our wedding even sweeter, and we'll never forget it. read more

Love Free Cones Day at Ben & Jerry's! We had about a 40 minute wait but it was worth it! I got the Chocolate Fudge Brownie, and it was so chocolatey with actual brownie chunks inside! YUM! The service was quick once we were inside the store, and they even gave "front of the line" passes to families waiting. The line looped around the building so that was so thoughtful that they did that for the kids! read more

I have tried most flavors of B&J and love them all. In addition, it is the only ice cream that doesn't cause a bad feeling of nausea and bloat afterwards. It is also fairly priced and available nearby. We stopped buying other kinds since we tried B&J. read more

Stood in line for awhile and asked for a shake. The gentleman said, we ran out of milk....gfy Ben and Jerry's.

The service was absolutely impeccable !! even though it got super nice out today and they were kind of busy they were still very attentive and polite and helpful. I appreciate that they helpful with their recommendations due to me being so indecisive, I got a delicious thick and creamy milkshake blended to perfection! Thank you again! :) read more

There's not much to say about a chain store like this, but there's nothing to complain about. The staff is friendly and quick, the store itself is clean, and there's a wide variety of flavors available. It's also nice that there are flavors that I can't find in stores. You get exactly what you expect and I can't complain about that :) read more

Very kind employees! The folks working here are friendly, professional, and efficient. This company seems to hire well. The location is quite popular, although you can usually get a seat. If not lots of good places close by. It's a cozy place, and a nice choice for dessert. Their prices have gone up substantially. It's an opinion, but I think more than competitors. Their ice cream is pretty good. Personally I like other brands more. The German Chocolate Cake is tasty. Also their regular chocolate or vanilla works in a cup or cone. A decent place for families. read more

Gerod was very nice and helpful despite being at the end of his shift. He had good suggestions and was knowledgeable. Ben & Jerry's ice cream always hits the spot. Nice and clean space. In a good location in terms of other shops in the area. Only downside, no Vermonsters available here! read more

Very disappointed in the portion size when we are now paying $8 for a small ice cream. It wasn't even a full cup of ice cream.

We grabbed some ice cream for the ride home. I ordered lemon sorbet in a cup. It was refreshing. And I ordered a scoop of chunky monkey on a sugar cone. read more

Gotta love Free Cone Day! There was a line out the door, but it moved very fast. I haven't gone to a free cone day in years but it's always a nice surprise when it arrives. I got the Tonight Dough (Caramel & chocolate ice creams with chocolate cookie swirls & gobs of chocolate chip cookie dough & peanut butter cookie dough) it was delicious and creamy. Store was clean and workers were friendly even though so many people were waiting for their free cone! read more

Thanks for the Free Birthday Ice Cream! Love that Ben and Jerry's offers a free cup or cone of ice cream on your birthday. Cashier was very helpful and sweet. He offered free samples and I gladly accepted. My favorite was the Cherry Garcia. It wasn't too sweet and had loads of cherries and dark chocolate pieces throughout. Their Phish Food is also delicious, you can't go wrong with chocolate ice cream, gooey marshmallows, caramel swirls, and fudge fish. The store is clean. There is a restroom in the back. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. I can't say I'm a huge fan of their ice cream or that I'm a regular here. I am extremely grateful for their generosity in giving us free ice cream on our birthdays and other occasions. read more

Ben & Jerry’s - Cherry Garcia (Free Birthday Ice Cream) - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Fairfax, Virginia

Totally unacceptable experience. I ordered a custom birthday cake LAST WEEK online for my daughter's birthday scheduled to be picked up at 11am on August 27th. It was supposed to be my daughter's favorite flavor. My husband took a detour home to pick it up from work (we live in another county and this was the closest location to us) and it wasn't even made at 4PM. Apparently the employee who makes the cakes is at college? No phone call. No email. Communication could have saved this review from being a one star. Manager gave my husband a card for 50%off a small cake but we were left with egg on our face with no cake for our daughter. We won't be back. read more

$5.50 for a small cone with two scoops of brownie something or other. The young woman didn't even ask how many scoops I wanted she just began scooping away and gave me what she thought I wanted I guess.. Shrugs. I was upset that I missed out on Free Cone Day so I went the following day. The shop has a large variety of flavors and after sampling a few I went with the Cherry Garcia. The ice cream was creamy with real cherry chunks. There's some nice seating outside the shop to enjoy your ice cream. At about $5 for a small cone it seems a little pricey though it seems like a nice spot to enjoy ice cream in the summer. read more

Just save yourself the money and buy a pint from the grocery store!! If you do decide to go to the store, DO NOT order their smoothies. They blend a ALOT of orange juice with just 2 measly scoops of raspberry sorbet (or some other flavor that I forget) that it just tastes and looks like reddish/pink ORANGE SLUSH! and you pay over $5 which is a complete ripoff. POTBELLYS has AMAZING ice-cream for a fraction of the price and tastes 1000000x better!! Not only that, IT's LOCATED RIGHT NEXT DOOR!!! :D read more

Little Pricey for the quality of the ice cream to be honest. This is the only option in Fairfax corner so by default everyone comes here. I feel though the management is lacking to keep fresh ice cream as both visits, the ice cream felt stale and old. I will most probably won't come back for strike 3 ! read more

I try to come here at least a couple times a year because the ice cream is just so delicious. Probably one of my favorite ice cream places around here. My favorite flavor is the coconut 7 layer bar which is hands down the best flavor. You have to get it if you like coconut. Milkshake or sugar cone is good for me. The store itself is small inside with about 6 small tables. Summer gets incredibly busy, very long lines with not enough employees. Especially on the free cone days. Can't go wrong though, so good!! read more

Great location to get some ice cream! After a nice afternoon stroll on a sunny spring day, we stopped by this location for some dessert. So happy I decided to check in on Yelp because we got a 10% discount - thank you Yelp! The store is clean and tidy, and service is quick. As another reviewer commented previously, the staff is on the younger side at this store but that's not a big deal. You can sample all the flavors you want before your purchase. I decided to get a medium cup of Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Dough, which consists of Caramel & Chocolate Ice Creams with Chocolate Cookie Swirls & Gobs of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough & Peanut Butter Cookie Dough - yummy! There's seating indoors and outdoors, or you can take your ice cream to go and enjoy it in the main plaza area of Fairfax Corner. read more

Best ice cream on earth. Period. You guys never disappoint. And employees at every location have been good to me. Thank you!!

There is no question that Ben & Jerry's is great and delicious ice cream! But a bit expensive.. i guess as a treat on a hot summer day is ok! I got 2 small scoops & 1 medium scoop for about $ 15.00 Great customer service!! read more

First time visiting here along with a friend and I really loved their service. They have a cashier and a server. Their server was very friendly and kind and I enjoyed my time there. Most of their menu are combinations of flavors and few aren't. I got a Mini Chocolate Chip for my friend and Chocolate Therapy for myself. It's a perfect place to visit for summer and they even have outside seating available. read more

Ben and Jerry's is one of the best ice creams in the world! But you already knew that, right? This place gives VERY generous portions. I like that. The ice cream parlor's ambience and feel is lacking, but you don't come here for the environment. What's important is that the ice cream you want is there and available. Unfortunately, the ice cream that I wanted wasn't there. :( Given that there are so many restaurants in this area, I did expect this particular Ben and Jerry's to be packed. But that wasn't the case. You can easily walk up to the front, get your ice cream, and mozy on with your night/day. For no wait, limited options yet high quality and generous scoop ice creams come here~ read more

I used this Ben & Jerry's to cater an ice cream social for an office building I help manage. The owner of this franchise, Kyle Hosch, made the process so easy for me. He was quick to respond to my request for service and he was able to fit my requested day into his busy Summer schedule. Everything was handled by him and his crew member from set up to tear down including scooping the ice cream for the tenants that came by. I highly recommend this location and look forward to having future ice cream socials with Kyle and his team! read more

You have 3 people working 2 doing smoothies the other serving ice cream. Then after serving a customer they are more worried about what kind of music is playing. I love this Ben & Jerrys so much! Although the workers aren't always the most enthusiatic the place is always clean, the ice cream is always fresh, and i always get served very well:) I come here pretty often (about a day a week), and I appreciate that my experience is always quick and delicious*.* Definitely my favorite Ben &Jerry's out of others ive tried in the DMV. read more

Who doesn't love a good ol' scoop of Ben & Jerry's? While it's true that my heart usually goes out to the local ice creameries in these parts (and it does still beat quite heavily for Frozen Dairy Bar's creamy frozen custard) but every now and then, I get a craving that only Ben, Jerry, and their delightfully punny ice cream names can satisfy. The store in Fairfax Towne Center is small but efficient, and the staff is always super friendly -- not to mention patient as my visits usually involve a 3 - 4 minute staring contest with the display cases, trying to figure out which flavor direction I want to go in. It's usually a battle of wills between Pistachio, Pistachio and Cherry Garcia, but every now and then I stray off the path most taken and end up with a heaping conefull of Americone Dream or Caramel Sutra. I've literally never been disappointed with a Ben & Jerry's flavor though. Heck, last time we went, Sean got the Triple Berry Sherbet and even that had my taste buds all a-quiver! You can bet that the impending arrival of summer's blisteringly hot days will have me taking a stroll by the B&J storefront a fair few times in upcoming months. And I can't wait. read more

I love the 3 for $12 take home pints deal. The red velvet is surprisingly really good. My all time favorite is strawberry cheesecake. Rocky-road isn't too bad. If you check-in on Yelp you get 10% off which is nice. The worker was really helpful and sweet. read more

I feel like it's overpriced and I noticed that they didn't give out portions equally. Some of the workers scooped out more ice cream and that was somewhat frustrating. It's so expensive to start out with, don't be skimping out! Taste though was good! It's not the best ice cream ever, but I prefer it to cold stone creamery! read more
