As I took the escalator up to the second level (where Sears used to be) I saw a sign that said "Irresistable Cupcakes". Well...they had me at "cupcakes" :D I stopped in and the man who was working there welcomed me. He was patient as I looked over their offerings. I ended up buying one strawberry shortcake cupcake and one vanilla cupcake. When he put the cupcakes in a container and then a bag, he gave me their business card. Apparently, they also do catering and will do custom cakes. Later that day, we tried the cupcakes. My husband really liked the strawberry shortcake one and said the strawberry flavoring came through clearly. He even suspected that some strawberry flavoring was added to the cake part. I enjoyed the vanilla one which actually had subtle vanilla flavor. As for ambience --- It's a small place with a couple of tables for those who want to eat their cupcakes right after buying them. We both agree that next time we're at the mall, we will once again bring some cupcakes home with us!

The packaging detail is indicative of someone who has skills from baking to marketing. I picked up a day prior to serving and I wrapped the big cookies in plastic wrap to keep fresh.
