I usually get the large with a waffle cone or bowl. It is quite expensive - $14-15 for one but honestly enough to share among 2-3 people. Always enough space for parking and service is quick. I came here on a Sunday night and the line was out of control. The wait was at least a solid 25 minutes and there just wasn't sufficient staff to handle the mass amount of crowds that are there. It's a comfortably cool (temperature-wise) place to enjoy your ice cream. With wooden tables far from the counter and a large space in between the two. With a view outside, it's comfortable. I ordered the Mocha which had a really rich and bit of darkness to it, I chose that over the coffee. I have personally worked at this exact Cold Stone location before and at others with my total CS work experience totaling over three years. So, yes, I consider myself pretty knowledgeable when it comes to Cold Stone. Cold Stone is fattening. Get the Like It size! Don't get the Love it or the Gotta Have It because honestly, that is TOO MUCH ice cream for one sitting. If you're gona take it home, then go for it, but if you're heading to the movies across the street, go for the smallest size. Heck, go for a kids scoop even! Watch what you put in there. Not every damn topping needs to go in there. I've seen people throw in four toppings into a Like It. They'll peruse the mix ins and just see something and add it. All mix ins don't go with each other! Yes, the smoothies are amazing. Try them! (: All in all, Cold Stone is yummy, but it's really fattening and expensive. I wouldn't come here frequently and I wouldn't get big sizes. The cakes are really good here and you can special order cakes and have specific unique designs added to them. Go for the BetterCream over the Ganache on your cake. BetterCream is sooooo yummy. And for christ sake, if you're going to tip, TIP! Pennies on the dollar = not a tip. Unfortunately, there's not that many in Brooklyn and the closest one to me at this period in time was the one near Knapp Street by the TGIF's (which has valet parking?!) and UA Theaters. This is a really great place if you're watching a movie in the summer and you end up in Cold Stone's. They blast the AC here, it's perfect. Plus outside seating if you enjoy that, it's right by the water which is nice. This Cold Stone is like any other, it's a tad bit expensive, but they mash up creamy creamy ice cream with your favorite flavors. Fresh overpriced ice cream with many toppings to please any junk food junkie on any day of the week. I love graham cracker in my ice cream. There are many flavor variations of ice cream as well! The waffle cones are made fresh, The store is big, and many young children come into to get ice cream, It's located across from the movie theater so, I am sure they get lot's of business. The staff is pretty nice, and upbeat. There is minimal seating, and there is also additional seating on benches right outside of the store. I went here with a friend on a Sunday Night. The line was so long, and at first i thought its okay because they are usually understaffed. However, there were atleast 5-6 workers there. What caught me by surprise is that all of the workers were just chatting with each other. They would take a customers order and just talk amongst each other, sometimes stopping to talk to each other while making the ice creams. I thought that to be very unprofessional, considering the line of people they had. Also, not only was the wait very long, but i was overcharged. The prices posted on the wall clearly state that a "Like It" ice cream in a cup costs $5.29. Also, it says your first add-on is supposed to be free, and every one after that is 95 cents. I purchased a "Like It" ice cream in a cup with ONE add on. Not only was I charged $5.79, which is a "Love It" price, but i was also charged 95 cents for my one add-on. I knew that something was wrong so I even asked the worker who rang me up how much a "Like It" cup costs and he said $5.76. If that was the case and the prices were actually raised, they need to change their prices on the wall because it is deceiving to the customer. read more

Worst Cold Stone experience I ever had. I moved back to Brooklyn about a week ago and was looking for some time away with my husband, from the mess at home from unpacked boxes so we decided to go out for some ice cream.
