I rarely leave reviews, but this situation could've ended much worse. I went to this Cold Stone with my girlfriend and clearly informed the staff that she has a serious peanut allergy. I asked them to take precautions -- clean the equipment, avoid cross-contact, etc. They nodded and said they understood. Unfortunately, she still had a bad allergic reaction shortly after eating her ice cream. That tells me the warning wasn't taken seriously or proper protocols weren't followed. Allergies aren't something you can afford to be careless about. This wasn't just a bad experience -- it was a serious health risk. Cold Stone needs to train their employees better when it comes to allergies. We won't be coming back, and I hope no one else has to go through what we did. read more

The young man grab a spoon fill from the fridge then threw half the spoon full off both times. Turns out my cup wasn't even full mind you were paying around 9 bucks plus topping around 12 bucks just for a half full cup of ice cream when the whole point of buying the biggest one is so you get more. At least a full cup. When I said something to the young man that knew he was wrong he just turned to the young lady's behind him and he said it's only supposed to be this amount when they knew he was wrong they instead agreed. My partner and I had walked in and coming from Woodbridge my location has a line from the back of the store to the door but in this location the line started at the door and ended in the back of the store. Long story short one employee yelled at us saying the line was over there and in quote "it's not that hard" implying we are stupid for small mistake. On a hot summer evening I was having my rare craving for butter pecan ice cream. I'm not certain what type of butter pecan ice cream they got going on but it's awful. I'm a Cold Stone fan. This Cold Stone in my opinion shouldn't even have a license. It's uninviting, as soon as you walk in. We walked here on a winter day only to find out we couldn't eat the ice cream in the store. They've blocked off all seating. So we had to go outside and eat it in the cold. (We didn't have to do, we could have walked back home but it would have melted during our walk.) Secondly, the place is dirty. Dust on the counters. Old ice cream spills inside the case, with stains all over the glass. The counters looks like they need to be updated. It just looks gross. Like it needs a deep clean, The waffle bowl I got almost broke my damn teeth. It was hard as stone. I mentioned it in front of the girl working but she could have cared less. I'm sure it was old and stale. Save your time and money and avoid this location. It needs to be shut down. read more

I'm just leaving this location after driving 30 minutes from Maryland to get a milkshake. The place didn't close until the 10 so I thought everything was good. Evidently not because at this location they stop making milkshakes at 8:00 pm because (in the words of their staff) "they would have to clean the blender." Even after explaining how far I drove and that this was the 2nd Cold stone's I came to (the first one was closed) Clineese wouldn't budge. I asked for the manager (supposedly AJ) but he wasn't there or any other manager. And as I walked out the door after sharing that I would be reviewing this location one of the staff said "it won't do anything anyway." I must have caught them on a good day by looking at some of the other reviews because I had a really enjoyable experience at this Cold Stone. I was quickly reminded why I frequented Cold Stone Creamery in college when I lived down the street from one! I taste tested a few flavors and landed on cookie dough. For add ins I chose cookie dough (duh), fudge, and caramel. Decadent, delicious, perfectly melty and blended. If I was in the area again I would for sure come back for some more. I really see why the reviews are what they are. I came to this location because I just moved in the neighborhood. For starters, everyone is rude and acted like they didn't want to be there. The young lady directed me to fridge for my request (which was completely empty). And when I attempted to use Apple Pay the young lady with the braids and glasses stated "We don't have Apple Pay" (why not keep up with the times ?) ... I said okay no problem I'll grab my card and I can hear her tell the other young lady "The signs on the door" in a rude tone. Well dip sh*t a nice gentleman held the door open for me so I missed the sign that said "No Apple Pay" - why not have the sign visual inside as well?! ..... Every time I go to this location, they leave out at least one of the toppings that is supposed to be included in the Creation I order. The first time, I ordered the Lucky Charms sundae, which was supposed to include gold sprinkles and they forgot those. Most recently, I went back to use a coupon I received from the location due to the issues with my Lucky Charms sundae. I ordered the Peanut Butter Cup Perfection sundae, which is supposed to be chocolate ice cream with peanut butter, Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, and fudge and when I got home, I realized they completely left out the fudge. And my ice cream was made by the supervisor because the coupon required me to ask for the supervisor. Needless to say, I will likely be going to another ice cream shop given that this Coldstone location keeps forgetting to include ingredients that are part of the Creations on multiple occasions now. read more

There was a lot of different ice creams this place had to offer on their menu. I had their founders favorite in a waffle cone. I thought the ice cream itself was kind of average and was enjoying the toppings more than the ice cream itself. I did not like their waffle cone at all. It tasted stale. I love a good crispy waffle cone with my ice creams but the one I had from here was tough and chewy. It was very crowded when we came in, so it took us a really long time to get our ice cream. The staffs behind the counter are ready to assist and it's a great place to hang out with friends over some ice cream. 2. Food: I had ordered the Like It red velvet ice cream. It was delicious and creamy! I had added in the coconut bits and white chocolate. So good! I love anything red velvet and cold stone definitely delivered. 3. Service: Gianni was the cashier and he did a great job. He was nice and friendly to our group. We appreciate the entire staffs and their helpfulness. 4. Costs: The Like It size ice cream is $4.99. When you add in additional toppings, it will cost you an additional $0.89. My small cup of ice cream costs $6.23. For $6.23, I can get a large fro yo for double the size. The price is a little more than expected; however, I see the location of the store and it makes sense to up charge the ice cream. 5.
