Delicious!!!! I traveled to Cold Spring for a hike from NYC and on the way home, we saw this cute pizza place and wanted to give it a try. The owner was so friendly and welcoming. As I was indecisive to try one of many options, he recommended his favorite slice. Well, it was life changing! Chicken bacon chipotle mayo, you will NOT be disappointed. I wish I didn't live so far or else I'd be ordering that pizza once a week. Ordered a large vegetarian pizza for $22 and it was huge, and full of all the veggies you could imagine. The service was very friendly and welcoming. Talked to the Italian guy (Mike I believe) and he was really nice to talk to. There is plenty of seating inside and some tables out in front of the store on Main Street. Cold Spring Pizza is a great spot to grab some food before or after hiking. My eggplant pesto pizza was delicious! Breaded eggplant, pesto, and dollops of ricotta and extra sauce for $3.65/slice. Slices are pretty large so I was stuffed after eating two. Crust is thin and crisp. The rolls are pretty good as well and the staff are nice. New owners and the food is delicious! I'm so happy that the girls from Apsara told me there was new management because I wouldn't have tried them again and I would have missed out. I tried their chicken cacciatore and it was fabulous! Best I've had anywhere and so authentic. My husband had their penne ala vodka with chicken, peas, mushrooms and bacon and it was also great! Even my side salad and their house dressing was great! I'm sold! Will definitely be back to taste their pizza which I've heard is as good as NYC pizza! I also loved how nice and friendly everyone was when I walked in. That kind of service always leaves me with a good impression, especially in areas like this where it's sometimes hard to blend in if you didn't grow up nearby. I absolutely love the Sicilian pie this place has. A real man's pizza. The bread is super hearty/dense and there's a generous amount of cheese on it, too. Really feels like you're getting your money's worth when you grab the box and realize you're gonna need both hands to get it to the car safely. I'm from the city, born and bred and I'm currently living in cold spring at the moment and this is by far the most delicious, amazing food I've had here and their portions are more than enough! It reminds me so much of the Italian restaurants and pizza shop on my block in the bronx. I live near arthur ave in the bx and the chicken marsala tasted just like it. Its so affordable and the portions are great. The flavor is so good. So far i've ordered pizza, linguine with garlic & oil with shrimp, chicken and broccoli and chicken marsala and i'm so satisfied! Kids, I was raised in the Bronx. I've worked in various areas of Manhattan all of my life. If you told me where you were located, and how far you were willing to travel, I could tell you where to find the best pizza. Cold Spring Pizza is, BY FAR, the best Pizza north of Arthur Avenue. The crust is perfect, the sauce is beyond reproach, and the toppings are delicious and pleantiful. It's just a pizzeria - not a fancy restaurant. No wine, no singing waiters (although Charlie can whistle a tune if you ask), no puffy, white hats, and no Vic Damone on a jukebox. BUT, if you like Pizza and you're within 30 miles or so, do yourself a favor and stop by. My children were raised in Cold Spring. One lives 2+ hours away in Connecticut, and travels 2+ hours every week or so just for the pizza. (Sometimes he even drops in to see his Mom & Dad.) You won't be disappointed. read more
