Was very satisfied with Gordon's establishment. Dogs seemed happy and content. Clean facility and lots of room to play.

Custom K-9 Service Dogs is the best decision I ever made for my dog... and honestly, for me…read more There isn't a single time Rodeo and I go out in public where we're not stopped and complimented on his perfect behavior. But it wasn't always like this. Rodeo used to be a runner. If he wasn't on a leash, he thought sprinting away being chased was the funniest game on earth. Now? He's a perfect angel off-leash. Sometimes I catch him giving me this mischievous little look, like he wants to take off, but then he stops himself and stays right by my side. That change didn't happen by accident. It's all thanks to Kendall and Chandler. Let's be real... they trained me even more than they trained Rodeo. Their patience, knowledge, and dedication completely transformed how I communicate with my dog. They're not just great at what they do... they're the dream team. If you want a dog you can truly enjoy life with, 10/10 recommend Kendall and Chandler every single time.

We could not leave her without hours of her barking, and us feeling guilty and anxious. Really great trainers. We had them train our dog Bo, who was around 4 years old at this point and…read morehad aged into territorial and possessive behavior. As a large pit mix I'd rescued, these issues were super demoralizing and we were scared Bo would someday hurt someone, despite our constant vigilance. Plus his world had gotten super small because I couldn't trust taking him to the places we used to hang in public. Anyway, after the meet and greet we went with a moderate board and train program. And then it didn't start as smoothly as we all hoped. Not because of their team, Bo was just more aggressive and reactive than he'd displayed during the meet and greet. Was it disappointing - absolutely, but most important was Stand Proud were having the difficult conversation with us about what Bo needed. We all came up with a plan that set Bo up for success, and they made sure it was something we were comfortable with. Since then, it's been a journey, but the results are remarkable and they've been so invested in his success. He's got a strong grasp on place and sit until released, and even off-leash skills and recall. He's also much more comfortable regulating himself and waiting for guidance when he's unsure. We're so much more confident and proud of the goofball. Thanks Stand proud team!

We fell in love with Vinnie the first time we met at the Nevada Humane Society. He was an adorable…read morebulldog who was abandoned. He was a problem from day 1. Taking him for a walk was a struggle as no amount of coaxing would keep him from pulling. The biggest problem was that his fear of other dogs would have him acting defensively. This often led him to him pulling us to the ground. Taking him for a walk was an ongoing challenge to which we adapted and accepted. After 4 years of living amicably with our other older bulldog, Vinnie began to be aggressive towards him. We were on the verge of turning him over to the Humane Society and then we found Danielle, Brandon and their team. The fee for their services and the length of time Vinnie would be away caused us to be reluctant to book their services. A few phone conversations and emails led us to an evaluation appointment at their home and facility in Fernly. Brandon and Danielle spent more than hour explaining everything to us. They both exhibited the qualities we look for in any professional. They presented their background explained their program clearly and simply, and answered all our questions. We had conserns about their training tools but were reassured with Brandon's detailed explanation. They have a large air conditioned kennel with spacious cages, large fenced in yard bordering a large open space. The staff we met were friendly. They were absolutely clear that their residential training is all about building a foundation and that success is dependent on how well we do our job as dog owners. We then observed one of local classes they provide all around Reno/Sparks. The trainer at the class exhibited all of the same qualities we saw in the owners. The dogs in the class were incredibly well behaved. We then booked a 4 week board and train program. When we picked up Vinnie, his behavior had improved 1,000%. Abby, his superb trainer spent 3 hours with us explaining what they did and walking us through what we needed to be doing moving forward. Brandon came by our house about a week later and spent over an hour with us answering our questions and reinforcing the guidance from Abby. Upon taking him home, he has not exhibited any aggression towards our other dog and our walks are more controlled and pleasant. With board and train you are able to attend classes for up to a year. We are excited to attend our first class with Vinnie soon. While we do not expect everything to be perfect, everyone's life has improved, We are grateful to the Stand Proud team and highly recommend them.

I adopted a young border collie mix from the Humane society of Reno…read more I learned he had been adopted and returned twice before. I thought had bad can he be. Well, I found out. He escaped from my closed in patio 8 times. Walking him was a test of patients, every little thing distracted him. Other dogs were a major problem; seems he was mentally challenged by them. Holding him back took everything I had. I am disabled and walking can be a challenge for me. I had to do something if I was going to keep him. I called multiple dog training facilities, the Only one to call me back was Stephen from Real K9 Solutions. He took Shadow for 3 weeks. When the dog came back, I was able walk him with a loose leash. He no longer attempted to escape. On walks other dogs were still a challenge, but nowhere near what it was. I can walk him today and have him sit when other dogs are near, something I would never have been able to do prior to his training. Today I have decided to keep Shadow. In fact, he is quietly laying net to me. If not for Stephen and Real K9 Solutions it would have been return number 3 for Shadow. I can't recommend Stephen and Real K9 Solutions highly enough.
