BONES took in our families 4 standard poodles so we could get married in South Lake Tahoe. Chelsey was amazing to work with beforehand and it was easy to get everything set up in advance since we were coming from out of state. During the poodle stay she provided almost daily updates with pictures and videos. It was so nice knowing our poodles were well taken care of while we were away. My wife and I have always been very nervous about leaving our furbabies at doggy daycare and specially for overnight stays. But after completing a meet and greet and overnight trial we were more than comfortable. They kept us in the loop with pics and videos. Even sent a goodnight picture on their trial night activities. The husband and wife duo were not only adorable but were able to answer all of our questions and provided the level of security to ensure we felt safe leaving our babies. Definitely one of the nicest and modern facilities we have visited. Much nicer than the ones in California. They provided feedback upon pick up which was greatly appreciated. I was surprised to see a negative review of Bones but quickly realized the user below just created their account and only has one review. and it just happens to be a negative one.. how odd. BONES is the best doggy day care and boarding place ever! We have been going to BONES since we relocated to Carson City in 2020, with twice weekly daycare and monthly overnight stays for when we need to travel for business or family out of state. I have been so pleased with the level of love and care Chelsey and her team provide my dog! The play areas are impressive with multiple yards for the different size dogs, and the overnight boarding accommodations are the best I've ever seen. 5 stars isn't enough for BONES! My dog has gone to daycare at BONES 2-3 times a week for almost 2 years now! First, the owners and assistant are kind, caring, and compassionate. They love my dog as if he were their own! They even send updates throughout the day with pictures and videos! Second, the facility is incredible! They take the dogs on a daily hike, which has really helped develop my dog's off-leash recall and heel. They have 3 separate yards, so the dogs have plenty of space to play or relax! They even have swimming pools in the summer! My dog comes home happy (and exhausted) every day! The boarding facility is also amazing. The first time I ever boarded my dog, I was nervous! The owners reassured me that he would okay, and even FaceTimed me before bedtime so I could see he was happy and comfortable! BEST FACILITY IN NORTHERN NEVADA BY FAR! BONES deserves 100 stars, but 5 for this review will have to suffice. My boyfriend and I have trusted BONES with our dogs' care since 2020 and could not be happier with our decision. Chelsey, her husband, and incredible staff have always taken amazing care of our dogs and I will never take our dogs anywhere else. We have two dogs who both like to get into mischief and they have always handled any difficult situations that arise with professionalism and care. The first time we dropped our first dog off, Chelsey was very reassuring and took the time to walk us around the facility, discuss their routine, and even sent us pictures and videos throughout his stay to ease our minds! Chelsey and her family have put their absolute heart and soul into this business and is shines through in everything they do. At one point during an overnight stay last year, our puppy began to demonstrate signs of aggression while playing with other dogs. They made great recommendations for us and helped us navigate a very difficult and emotional situation with care. Because of their experience and professionalism during this time, our (now) year old golden retriever is no longer demonstrating signs of aggression and is welcome to come back for daycare and overnight stays. We cannot thank BONES enough for the quality of care they provide for our dogs, we will forever recommend all friends and family to them. So when my wife decided she wanted to find a daily boarding facility for our two pups I laughed, it sounded like daycare for our dogs and I spent enough on daycare for our kids. But I gave in and we sent our Fuji and Everest there in early February. Well now our dogs are at Bones 2-3 times a week and I've never seen them happier. The dog park is wonderful, and the owner Chelsey does an amazing job keeping them active and having fun with the other pups there. You can see the owners love for the dogs and her business. We send our dogs to Bones during the week but we are going to travel to Oregon next week and planning on leaving them over the weekend. My wife used to hate being away from our dogs but now she feels bad whenever we pick them up from Bones because they have such a great time. Keep up the amazing work Chelsey! read more

Oh my gosh! If you want to completely enjoy your time away from your fur babies, then BONES is the place. It is like dropping them off to be cared for by family. So much attention for each pup. Chelsey is dedicated to making each pups experience safe and fun! The facility is amazing - we felt so happy to know our pups were getting exercised & socialized. We boarded our three pups for four nights and they each had a little apartment with beds and blankets to eat and sleep as well as socializing with the day timers. I am not an easy person to make happy, especially when it comes to my dogs. Chelsey not only met, but exceeded, my expectations and provided service far and above what I've experienced at other facilities in the area. I have no doubt that when my dog is with her, he is safe and happy. In fact, Chelsey is one of about 5 humans our pup actually likes, and he gets so excited to see her that when I drop him off, he puts his paws on her shoulders and gives her a big hug. Chelsey is incredibly kind and accommodating to us humans, too, and I can only imagine that anyone who managed to do enough to get "fired" as a client is someone who felt entitled to repeatedly and egregiously take advantage of the kindness of these lovely local business owners. read more

There aren't enough great things to say about BONES! My pup, Oogie, is a Husky/Australian Shepard; if you have ever had either breed, you know they have a never-ending supply of energy. BONES allows her to run and play ALL DAY! When looking for a daycare, BONES was the only one we could find where she would NOT be kenneled for any part of the day. Oogie attends daycare at BONES daily! She has been a regular client since she was 6 months old. She has an excellent relationship with Chelsey and the rest of the BONES team and gets excited every morning when I ask her if she wants to go to "school". Chelsey has always been very quick to respond, flexible and patient. I have a lot of separation anxiety from Oogie, but I take a great deal of comfort in knowing she's in excellent hands. I deeply appreciate that I can check in via text throughout the day and I LOVE seeing pictures on Facebook/Instagram. Now, let's talk about boarding. I boarded Oogie for the first time in September, it was the first time we had been apart since she came into my life. Chelsey was incredibly accommodating, sending pictures, video and updates. In October, I had a week long stay in the hospital with little notice, but once again, BONES was there for us and took great care of our girl. Her suite was clean, spacious and filled with her favorite toys/blankets. She was served breakfast, lunch and dinner, and received a complimentary bath at the end of her stay. She has since stayed 2 more times. We will not board anywhere else and cannot recommend BONES enough. read more

We were so lucky to find this place at the last minute! Chelsey was so kind and accommodating. The facility is amazing and in a beautiful setting. Chelsey took our doggy for a hike and sent us a little video of her enjoying herself. Shadow had her own little private apartment with a cozy bed. There was a huge play area with hills and obstacles for the dogs to play in. Chelsey gave Shadow a lovely bath so she was all clean when we picked her up, and we scored a bunch of doggy swag just for being customers! read more

This place has way too many dogs for the staffing they have, tho a very nice atmosphere...plus the attention of the individual animals by the staff has sadly changed for the worse with their increased business....their policies are very rigid for some, but not for all....it was an eye opener for us on how inconsiderate and disrespectful the management of this place was in handling their success ...they surely lost their "Luxury" title, in our opinion...highly would NOT recommended this place for your pet needs... read more
