    My puppy dog!!

Katie and Tim are extremely knowledgeable about dogs and behaviors. I have been taking my English Lab, Annie Oakley here since she was 3 Mos and finished with all her shots. They are mindful to observe whether a dog is tired and NEEDS a break and gives them the time to rest. They take and post pictures often of all the dogs that attend. They offer late night pick up with a secure lock on a kennel that is accessible from the outside. I cannot tell you how happy I am with the great service by them and all their caring staff.

Penelope! Tired from a wonderful playful day at Doggie Days.

My fearful dog was hesitant to be with anyone. I don't know how they did it but she loves it there. She gets so excited to pull up knowing she is going to play with all of her friends. I leave her for sleepovers without a worry in the world. Thanks everyone for giving Penelope a happy place to go and me a break and a happy tired dog when she comes home. You all are the bomb!!!

It's a pretty facility, the staff is very nice and I feel they are reasonably priced. Our dog Butler seems to do well here, which is reassuring because he's a hyper animal.

Absolutely love Doggie Days! I've been taking my rescue puppy to their daycamp sporadically for about a month and a half, and even boarded her when we had to take an emergency trip out of town just one week after rescuing her from a traumatic situation. I was very nervous about how she would do with other dogs, but staff at Doggie Days assured me they would keep an eye on her and wouldn't push her to do anything that she was uncomfortable with. Turns out my pup loves other dogs and has a blast when she's there! They have sent me videos of her playing with other dogs, and their daycamp is by far the best in the area (I drive down from Reno to take her because it's SO MUCH better than any of the daycamps closer to home). My pup comes home nice and tired, and she's even learning, and VERY excited, that when we pull in to their parking lot that it means she gets to "play with puppies" all day long! I love that she clearly is enjoying going to Doggie Days, and I love that I know she will be okay and taken care of in a very fun and safe environment :) Highly recommend!

We needed to board a 5lb, nervous Yorkie for a night. The folks at Doggie Days took great care of him.

Ask the Community - Doggie Days

Are there people staying there overnight for the pets that are being boarded? How are the dogs housed at night and If you have more than 1 pet, do they allow them to sleep together?

No one is onsite late at night. They have cameras and motion detection (i believe) and the alarm goes straight to police and fire. They dogs have their own kennel inside with a bed that's off the ground and a blanket. I'm not sure if they will put… Read more

They have moved and shuffled their entire days around to get my animals' needs met. Even our python, Jimmy, was rehabilitated here with so much care. Every time I go there, miss Laurie knows me and my animals and smiles when she sees us. Minus the snake, but that's fair. The vet techs accept him ;) They're just a great group of people that really want to rise above and do the right thing for people and their animals. Especially the front desk staff, Dr Kidder, and Dr B. I think you guys are all awesome.

After spending $6,000, every single follow-up was only with technicians--never the vet. I was charged for four separate sets of x-rays, yet not once did anyone go over the results with me. At the final visit, they tried to charge me an additional $538 for an x-ray I had already paid for. On top of that, they kept my dog there for over 9.5 hours for what should have been a simple follow-up x-ray. When I called to check in, I was told they don't call owners until pets are ready to go home. I asked why it was taking so long, and they said emergencies pushed my dog back. If that was the case, why not reschedule instead of keeping her locked up for nearly 10 hours? This clinic clearly cares more about money than the well-being of the animals. I will never recommend Sierra Vet to anyone. HORRIBLE place, with absolutely no compassion for pets or their owners.
