As a retired former owner of…read moremy own septic tank pumping company for over forty years, I would recommend Ron Schofield and his son. Having the right pumping service can make the difference between having to spend many thousands of dollars to replace your system if it fails to pass a septic system inspection when the time comes to sell your home, as opposed to having a service provider that has been monitoring your system and advising you well ahead of time if a issue needs attention. Having a great septic system service provider may end up having the same effect as a thirty thousand dollar gift certificate when the day comes your system passes that required by law septic system, as opposed to having to install a new system. The tech that arrived at my home at 7:30 pm pumped the septic tank but was unprepared to run a snake through the line. He did not have a snake to remove the clogged drainage pipe nor did he have any tools to open the line. Further flooding came that night when my water softener recirculated despite the fact that I had been told it was unnecessary to unplug it. The tech came the next day and I was charged twice for the digging fees and a second emergency fee. The invoice appeared in my email three days after they quickly charged my credit card. I was grossly overcharged for these services and will never call them again. Additionally, I was rudely spoken to on the phone by the head of the company when I called to resolve the issues. 8/12/2026
