Some weeks after TPS did work in my basement I realized that several items were missing. The total…read morevalue was about $1500. Lewis Matthews and his partner, (James Farrell I think) were the only people in the basement. Since this is a circumstantial case, no report was made to the police. I can confirm most of the information reported by Jeremy B. In addition, the Truthfinder website reports that Lewis Matthews, d.o.b. March 6, 1988, was charged with forgery, counterfeiting and possession of a stolen vehicle on May 31, 2016. There's much more which I will eventually post on Next Door website. This should be a sufficient warning.

Promised a refund and never return the money since March 2021 via following excuses: Mailed a check and we never received it. (March excuse) Owner is out of town and will personally deliver the check. (April to May excuses) Ask to provided check account to wire it (Jun til now) Over $700 refund and never get the money. Additionally: No show to appointment and no response until call and email. Show up with 4 other male technicians unannounced when only my wife at home without actually fixed the problem. "Don't know how to explain to you" was the reason that Lewis said to my wife when she asked what he actually did to the system. Spend 4 hours to fixed the heater and as soon as he left, no hot water. Dishonest people.

It's never fun to be in the position where you need a plumber.  I found my self in such a position…read morejust last week.  The sink in my kitchen had been draining slowly for a while, but not a big deal, right? WRONG, WRONG, WRONG! I ran my dishwasher one night last week and in the morning found both sides of my double sink half filled with greasy, black water.  I knew there was no option other than to call in a professional, and yes, I had tried the whole drain cleaner thing, to no avail. I had written a review of another plumbing company, that installed a new toilet for me awhile ago.  I was very happy with their work, but maybe it was just a little too expensive, so I decided to look for someone else. If you have ever tried to find a plumber by calling them from a list of plumbers in your area, provide by Google, you soon find getting anyone to answer, or even return you call is next to impossible. The Plumber Company changed everything!   Alexis, answered the phone promptly, listened to my tale of woe, then sadly told me that they were already completely booked for the day (a Friday).  I made a tentative appointment for someone to come on Saturday, for an "emergency appointment", which required an extra fee, as they don't normally work on weekends.  I wasn't thrilled, but set it up and told her I would try and see if I could find anyone who could come out to me that day, and would caller her back to let her know for certain I was keeping the appointment.  After several unanswered calls to other plumber and a final call to a man who answered with a slurred hello (it was only 11:30 am, I assume he was kicking off his weekend a little early, or had taken a "liquid lunch" break).  I gave up, and knew that I would keep the appointment with The Plumber Company.  Due to a miss understanding, which was partly my fault, when I called back to confirm the 9 am appointment for the following day, the man who answered thought I was canceling.   Come Monday, yes slightly annoyed that no one had come over the weekend or had returned my call, I called their office. The reason I did was 100% because of how my interaction with Alexis had gone on Friday.  She said she would get someone out to my house right away, and apologized for the confusion. The someone she sent was plumber Brandon Leo.   I won't go into too much detail as to what all needed to be done, suffice it to say there was, snaking, jetting, wall opening, and pipe replacement afoot. I can't say enough about Brandon, but let me try. First and foremost, punctual, he even called to tell me he was on his way. He was professional in both his appearance and in his assessment of my problem.  Secondly, he clearly explained what the situation was and the options to resolve it.  He gave his opinion as to what he thought was "best" but didn't make me feel pressured to go that way. And finally, he also was very diligent about leaving my house clean, I've had some workers in the past leave a mess in their wake, with little to no respect for my home and property. In the end, I still will have some near future plumbing issues, related to my septic system, but because I now have a better understanding as to how my plumbing works. I can plan accordingly. Regarding the cost: the adage "you get what you pay for" is always something I think about with this kind of job. The truth is, it wasn't cheap, but I believe it was fair. I also have to say that there is real value in a) knowing that when you call, an actual person will answer, and b) that the worker that comes is the best they have. I highly recommend The Plumber Company. When you call ask Alexis if she can send the friendly, professional, knowledgeable and hard working Brandon, and you should be GOLDEN!

In this crazy time of every vendor being behind on projects and "forgetting to order something" this company was on the ball and showed up!
